Claims (13)
- 금속 집전체; 및
금속 집전체 상에 형성되어 있고, 음극 활물질, 바인더 및 도전재를 포함한 활물질층을 포함하는 이차전지용 음극으로서,
SAICAS 장비를 이용해 마이크로 블레이드로 상기 활물질층을 일정 절삭 속도로 절삭하면서 하기 식 1에 따라 절삭 깊이별 전단 강도를 산출하였을 때, 상기 활물질층은 10 내지 40㎛의 절삭 깊이에서 측정된 전단 강도의 평균 값이 1.6MPa 이상인 이차전지용 음극:

상기 식 1에서, τs는 절삭 깊이별 전단 강도를 나타내며, b는 상기 마이크로 블레이드의 폭을 나타내고, t0는 절삭 깊이를 나타내며, 는 전단 각도를 나타내고,
Fh 및 Fv는 각각 상기 일정한 절삭 속도를 유지하기 위해, 마이크로 블레이드에 각각 인가되는 수평력 및 수직력의 측정 값을 나타낸다.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 음극 활물질은 천연흑연, 인조흑연, 섬유상 인조흑연, 흑연화 블랙 및 흑연화 나노섬유로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상의 흑연계 활물질을 포함하는 이차전지용 음극.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 도전재는 카본블랙, 아세틸렌 블랙, 케첸 블랙, 채널 블랙, 파네스 블랙, 램프 블랙 및 서멀 블랙로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상을 포함하는 이차전지용 음극.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 바인더는 폴리비닐리덴플루오라이드-헥사플루오로프로필렌 코폴리머(PVDF-co-HFP), 폴리비닐리덴플루오라이드(polyvinylidenefluoride), 폴리아크릴로니트릴(polyacrylonitrile), 폴리메틸메타크릴레이트(polymethylmethacrylate), 폴리비닐알코올, 카르복시메틸셀룰로오스(CMC), 전분, 히드록시프로필셀룰로오스, 재생 셀룰로오스, 폴리비닐피롤리돈, 테트라플루오로에틸렌, 폴리에틸렌, 폴리프로필렌, 폴리아크릴산 및 스티렌 부타디엔 고무(SBR)로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상을 포함하는 이차전지용 음극.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 활물질층은 상기 음극 활물질의 80 내지 98 중량%와, 상기 바인더의 0.5 내지 15 중량%와, 상기 도전재의 0.1 내지 10 중량%를 포함하는 이차전지용 음극.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 활물질층은 50 내지 400㎛의 두께를 갖는 이차전지용 음극.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 금속 집전체는 구리, 스테인레스 스틸, 알루미늄, 니켈 및 티타늄으로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상의 금속을 포함하는 이차전지용 음극.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 활물질층은 상기 금속 집전체 상에 30gf/20mm 내지 50gf/20mm의 접착력으로 부착되어 있는 이차전지용 음극.
- 음극 활물질, 바인더, 도전재 및 용매를 포함하는 슬러리 조성물을 금속 집전체 상에 도포하는 단계; 및
상기 슬러리 조성물을 1차 및 2차에 걸쳐 압연하는 단계를 포함하며,
하기 식 2으로 정의되는 압연율을 각각 산출하였을 때, 1차 압연율/2차 압연율이 5 이상으로 되도록 상기 1차 및 2차 압연을 진행하는 제 1 항의 이차전지용 음극의 제조 방법:

압연율(%) = [압연 후의 슬러리 조성물의 두께 감소량(㎛) /압연 전의 슬러리 조성물의 두께(㎛)] * 100
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 1차 압연율은 20 내지 40% 이고, 상기 2차 압연율은 0.5 내지 6%인 이차전지용 음극의 제조 방법.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 슬러리 조성물은 100 내지 500㎛의 두께로 금속 집전체 상에 도포되는 이차전지용 음극의 제조 방법.
- 제 9 항에 있어서, 상기 1차 및 2차 압연 단계 후에, 상기 슬러리 조성물을 건조하여 용매를 제거하는 단계를 더 포함하는 이차전지용 음극의 제조 방법.
- 양극;
제 1 항의 음극; 및
양극 및 음극 사이에 개재된 세퍼레이터를 포함하는 리튬 이차전지.
