Description
本出願は2021年2月26日付韓国特許出願第10-2021-0026804号に基づく優先権の利益を主張し、当該韓国特許出願の文献に開示されたすべての内容は本明細書の一部として含まれる。
金属集電体上に形成されており、負極活物質、バインダおよび導電材を含む活物質層を含む二次電池用負極であって、
SAICAS装備を用いてマイクロブレードで前記活物質層を一定の切削速度で切削しながら下記式1により切削深さ別の剪断強度を算出した時、前記活物質層は10~40μmの切削深さで測定された剪断強度の平均値が1.6MPa以上の二次電池用負極を提供する:

FhおよびFvはそれぞれ前記一定の切削速度を維持するために、マイクロブレードにそれぞれ印加される水平力および垂直力の測定値を示す。
前記スラリー組成物を1次および2次にわたって圧延する段階を含み、
下記式2で定義される圧延率をそれぞれ算出した時、1次圧延率/2次圧延率が5以上になるように前記1次および2次圧延を行う前記二次電池用負極の製造方法を提供する:

下記式2で定義される圧延率をそれぞれ算出した時、1次圧延率/2次圧延率が5以上になるように前記1次および2次圧延を行う前記二次電池用負極の製造方法が提供される:

黒鉛系活物質(QCG-X2;黒鉛)、負極導電材としてカーボンブラック(Super C65)、増粘剤(Daicel2200:カルボキシメチルセルロース(CMC))およびバインダ(ADB22D;スチレンブタジエンゴム(SBR)系高分子)を96.5:0.5:1.1:2.8の比率で85分間混合した後、スラリー形成用溶媒(水)に添加して固形分濃度55.5重量%の負極スラリー組成物を形成した。
前記製造された実施例および比較例の負極で、活物質層の切削深さ別の剪断強度および平均剪断強度は次の方法で測定および算出した。

前記製造された実施例および比較例の負極で、活物質層と、金属集電体の接着力を次の方法で測定した。
Claims (8)
- 金属集電体;および
金属集電体上に形成されており、負極活物質、バインダおよび導電材を含む活物質層を含む二次電池用負極であって、
SAICAS装備を用いてマイクロブレードで前記活物質層を一定の切削速度で切削しながら下記式1により切削深さ別の剪断強度を算出した時、前記活物質層は10~40μmの切削深さで測定された剪断強度の平均値が1.6MPa以上であり、
前記負極活物質は天然黒鉛、人造黒鉛、繊維状人造黒鉛、黒鉛化ブラックおよび黒鉛化ナノ繊維からなる群より選ばれた1種以上の黒鉛系活物質を含み、
前記導電材はカーボンブラック、アセチレンブラック、ケッチェンブラック、チャンネルブラック、ファーネスブラック、ランプブラックおよびサーマルブラックからなる群より選ばれた1種以上を含み、
前記バインダはポリビニリデンフルオリド-ヘキサフルオロプロピレン コポリマー(PVDF-co-HFP)、ポリビニリデンフルオリド(polyvinylidenefluoride)、ポリアクリロニトリル(polyacrylonitrile)、ポリメチルメタクリレート(polymethylmethacrylate)、ポリビニルアルコール、カルボキシメチルセルロース(CMC)、澱粉、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、再生セルロース、ポリビニルピロリドン、テトラフルオロエチレン、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリアクリル酸およびスチレンブタジエンゴム(SBR)からなる群より選ばれた1種以上を含み、
前記活物質層は前記負極活物質の80~98重量%と、前記バインダの0.5~15重量%と、前記導電材の0.1~10重量%を含む二次電池用負極:

FhおよびFvはそれぞれ前記一定の切削速度を維持するために、マイクロブレードにそれぞれ印加される水平力および垂直力の測定値を示す。 - 前記活物質層は50~400μmの厚さを有する、請求項1に記載の二次電池用負極。
- 前記金属集電体は銅、ステンレススチール、アルミニウム、ニッケルおよびチタンからなる群より選ばれた1種以上の金属を含む、請求項1または2に記載の二次電池用負極。
- 負極活物質、バインダ、導電材および溶媒を含むスラリー組成物を金属集電体上に塗布する段階;および
前記スラリー組成物を1次および2次にわたって圧延する段階を含み、
下記式2で定義される圧延率をそれぞれ算出した時、1次圧延率/2次圧延率が5以上になるように前記1次および2次圧延を行う請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池用負極の製造方法:

圧延率(%)=[圧延後のスラリー組成物の厚さ減少量(μm)/圧延前のスラリー組成物の厚さ(μm)]*100 - 前記1次圧延率は20~40%であり、前記2次圧延率は0.5~6%である、請求項4に記載の二次電池用負極の製造方法。
- 前記スラリー組成物は100~500μmの厚さで金属集電体上に塗布される、請求項4または5に記載の二次電池用負極の製造方法。
- 前記1次および2次の圧延段階の後に、前記スラリー組成物を乾燥して溶媒を除去する段階をさらに含む、請求項4から6のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池用負極の製造方法。
- 正極;
請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の二次電池用負極;および
正極および負極の間に介在するセパレータを含む、リチウム二次電池。
