Abstract

본 발명은 직물 기재 및 상기 기재와 연관된 파일로 구성되는 테리 제품으로서, 상기 기재 및/또는 상기 파일이 비스코스 섬유, 모달 섬유, 폴리노직 섬유 및 리오셀로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 셀룰로스 섬유를 적어도 부분적으로 포함하고, 상기 셀룰로스 섬유는 1.7 dtex 내지 4.5 dtex의 타이터를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품에 관한 것이다.

Description

타월 제품{TOWEL PRODUCT}
본 발명은, 그 자체로 공지의 방식으로 직물 기재(base material) 및 상기 직물 기재와 연관된 파일(pile)로 구성되어 있는 테리 제품(terry product)에 관한 것이다.
테리 제품은 특별한 흡수성과 쾌적한 감촉을 가진 직물로서, 특히 가정용 직물 및 스포츠 용품에 사용되는 직물이다. 예를 들면 포(fabric)와 같은, 직물 기재와 연관된 파일(특히 얀 루프(yarn loop) 형태로 되어 있는 것)이 테리 제품의 특징이다.
본 발명의 목적에서, "테리 제품"이라는 용어는 특정적으로 테리 천, 벨루어(velour) 테리 제품, 밀링된(milled) 테리 제품 및 트위스트형(twisted) 테리 제품과 같은 제품을 의미하되 이에 한정되지는 않는다.
타월과 같은 테리 제품은 특히 유연성, 흡수성 및 벌크성(bulkiness)과 벌크 안정성(보관시, 타월의 스택(stack)은 자체 중량을 받아 납작하게 주저앉지 않아야 함)의 측면에서 특수한 수요에 맞추어야 한다.
현재, 상업적으로 입수가능한 테리 제품은 본질적으로 면으로 구성되어 있다. 면으로 제조된 타월은 요구되는 벌크성, 벌크 안정성 및 흡수성을 나타낸다.
그러나, 요구되는 제품의 유연성을 달성하기 위해, 면제품에는 가소제가 제공되어야 한다. 가정에서의 세척용으로, 섬유 유연제의 사용이 필요하다. 가소제와 섬유 유연제는 모두 알러지를 유발할 가능성이 있다. 더욱이, 가소제는 실질적으로 가소제가 제공되어 있는 제품의 흡수성 및 흡수 속도를 감소시킨다.
가소제와 섬유 유연제를 사용하지 않으면, 종래의 모달 섬유(modal fibre)로 제조된 테리 제품은 유연성과 흡수성도 가지기는 하지만, 100% 면으로 만들어진 제품보다 낮은 벌크성 및 벌크 안정성을 나타낸다.
면과 종래의 모달 섬유의 혼합물을 포함하는 테리 제품은 유연성과 흡수성뿐 아니라 충분한 벌크성을 갖지만, 충분한 벌크 안정성을 나타내지 못한다.
합성 섬유(예를 들면, 마이크로폴리에스테르)로 만들어진 테리 제품은 유연성을 가지지만, 충분한 흡수성을 갖도록 하기 위해 친수성 화학물질이 제공되어야 한다.
본 발명은 우수한 벌크성과 아울러 우수한 벌크 안정성을 나타내는 직물 기재 및 상기 기재와 연관된 파일로 구성되는 테리 제품을 제공한다.
본 발명의 목적은 전술한 바와 같은 종래의 제품이 가진 단점을 나타내지 않고 양호한 방식으로 상기 직물에 대한 요구에 합당한 테리 제품을 제공하는 것이다.
상기 목적은, 기재 및/또는 파일이 비스코스 섬유, 모달 섬유, 폴리노직(polynosic) 섬유 및 리오셀(lyocell)로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 셀룰로스 섬유를 적어도 부분적으로 포함하고, 상기 셀룰로스 섬유는 1.7 dtex 내지 4.5 dtex의 타이터(titre)를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품에 의해 달성된다.
놀랍게도, 테리 제품에서 1.7 dtex 내지 4.5 dtex의 특정한 타이터 범위에서 "인조" 셀룰로스 섬유, 즉 비스코스 섬유, 모달 섬유, 폴리노직 섬유 및 리오셀 섬유를 사용하면, 본 발명에 따른 제품이 우수한 벌크성과 아울러 우수한 벌크 안정성을 나타내게 된다는 사실을 본 발명자들은 발견했다.
예를 들면, 각각 낮은 타이터를 가진 모달 섬유 또는 낮은 타이터를 가진 모달 섬유와 면의 혼합물을 포함하는 기존 제품에 비해 흡수성이 향상된다. 바람직한 실시예에서, 변형된 단면을 가진 섬유, 특히 멀티로벌(multilobal) 단면을 가진 섬유가 사용되는데 그것은 섬유 표면이 증대됨에 따라 흡수 속도와 흡수성이 더욱 향상되기 때문이다. 트리로벌(trilobal) 단면이 특히 바람직하다. 멀티로벌 단면을 가진 "인조" 셀룰로스 섬유는, 예를 들면, 특허문헌 EP 0 301 874 A1 및 WO 2006/060835에 기재되어 있다.
바람직하게는, 본 발명에 따라 사용되는 셀룰로스 섬유의 타이터는 2 dtex 내지 4.5 dtex, 특히 바람직하게는 2.2 dtex 내지 3.3 dtex, 가장 바람직하게는 2.5 dtex 내지 2.8 dtex 범위이고, 특별하게는 2.5 dtex 내지 2.6 dtex 범위이다.
전술한 타이터 범위의 모달 섬유를 사용하는 것이 특히 바람직하다.
"모달 섬유"라는 명칭은 일반적인 용어로서, BISFA(인조 섬유의 국제 표준화 사무국)에 의한 정의에 따르면, 한정된 습윤 강도(wet strength) 및 역시 한정된 높은 습윤 모듈러스(즉, 섬유를 습윤 상태에서 5% 만큼 팽창시키는 데 필요한 힘)를 가진 셀룰로스 섬유를 지칭한다.
모달 섬유의 유연성으로 인해, 제조시에 가소제가 필요하지 않을 뿐 아니라, 본 발명에 따른 테리 제품의 사용시에도 섬유 유연제가 필요하지 않다.
본 발명에 따른 테리 제품에서, 사용되는 셀룰로스 섬유는 30mm 내지 60mm, 바람직하게는 38mm 내지 51mm의 절단 길이를 가진 셀룰로스 스테이플 섬유(staple fibre)로서 제공될 수 있다.
셀룰로스 섬유는 얀 또는 그로부터 제조된 연사(撚絲; twisted yarn)의 형태로 존재할 수 있다. 얀으로서는, 예를 들면, 폴리비닐 알코올(PVA)-섬유 및 -얀과의 혼합물 중에 링 방적사(ring spun yarn), SIRO-얀, 코어 방적사(core-spun yarn), 콤팩트 얀(compact yarn), OE-얀, 에어젯 얀, 셔닐 얀(chenille yarn), 루프형 얀, 및 제로-트위스트(zero-twist) 얀과 같은 그 자체로서 공지된 형태를 고려할 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 테리 제품에서, 셀룰로스 섬유는 면, 폴리에스테르, 울, 폴리테트라플루오로에틸렌(PTFE), 폴리프로필렌(PP), 폴리아미드(PA), 폴리아크릴(PAC), 폴리비닐 알코올(PVA), 리넨, 실크 또는 비스코스 섬유, 폴리노직 섬유, 리오셀 섬유 및, 예를 들면, 더 낮은 타이터 범위를 가진 모달 섬유로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 섬유 물질과의 혼합물 중에 존재할 수 있다.
상기 타이터 범위의 모달 섬유와 면의 혼합물이 특히 유리하다.
바람직한 실시예에서, 직물 기재 및/또는 파일은 본질적으로 완전히 셀룰로스 섬유 또는 셀룰로스 섬유를 포함하는 혼합물로 각각 구성된다. 이것은 셀룰로스 섬유로부터의 얀 또는 혼합된 얀 및 면과 같은 제2 성분이 기재 및/또는 파일의 제조에 사용된다는 것을 의미한다.
기재 및/또는 파일에서의 셀룰로스 섬유의 비율은 유리하게는 1% 내지 100%, 바람직하게는 10% 내지 100%, 특히 바람직하게는 30% 내지 100% 범위이다.
각각 모달 섬유 30% 내지 50% 및 면 70% 내지 50%의 혼합물, 예를 들면 모달 섬유 30%/면 70% 또는 모달 섬유 50%/면 50%의 혼합물이 특히 바람직하다. 전술한 바와 같이, 이러한 혼합물은 파일의 재료 및/또는 백킹 직물(backing fabric)의 재료에 사용될 수 있다.
가능한 실시예에서, 단순히 파일은 본질적으로 완전히 셀룰로스 섬유로 구성되거나, 상이한 섬유와의 혼합물을 포함하고, 기재는 상이한 섬유 물질로 구성된다. 예를 들면 면 100%로 된 기재, 및 모달 섬유 100%로 된 파일 또는 모달 섬유 50%와 면 50%의 혼합물을 구비하는 것이 유리하다.
또 다른 실시예에서, 파일과 기재 모두는 본질적으로 완전히 셀룰로스 섬유로 구성되거나, 상이한 섬유와의 혼합물을 포함한다. 기재와 파일이 모두 모달 섬유 100%로 만들어진 것이거나, 또는 모달 섬유 50%와 면 50%의 혼합물 또는 모달 섬유 30%와 면 70%의 혼합물로 만들어지는 것이 유리하다.

본 발명에 따른 테리 제품에서, 파일은 바람직하게는, 그 자체 공지되어 있는 바와 같이, 얀 루프로 구성되거나, 벨루어 상품의 경우와 같이 깎여진(shorn) 얀 루프로 구성된다.
직물 기재는 바람직하게는 직조된 직물(woven fabrics), 경편포(warp-knitted fabrics), 편성포(knitted fabrics) 및 스티치 편성포(stitch-knitted fabrics)로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택된다.
본 발명에 따른 테리 제품은 바람직하게는, 타월, 비치 타월, 목욕 타월, 사우나 타월, 욕의(浴衣), 행주, 욕실 카펫, 티 타월(tea towel), 침구, 예를 들면 침구용 리넨, 매트리스 및 모포 커버와 매트리스 지지체, 유아 의류, 스포츠웨어, 양말, 라이닝 재료 및 기저귀로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 물품의 형태 또는 그의 성분으로서 제공된다.
본 발명은 우수한 벌크성과 아울러 우수한 벌크 안정성을 나타내는 직물 기재 및 상기 기재와 연관된 파일로 구성되는 테리 제품을 제공한다.
실시예 1:
기재의 경사(warp)는 면사(Ne 23.5/2 또는 Ne 12/1) 100%로 구성되고, 위사(weft)는 또한 면사(Ne 16.5/1) 100%로 구성된다. 파일용으로는, 모달 섬유(2.5 dtex, 절단 길이 38mm) 50% 및 면(Ne 16.5/1) 50%로 만들어진 혼방사(blended yarn)가 사용된다. 완성 제품은 우수한 흡수성, 높은 벌크성 및 우수한 벌크 안정성을 나타낸다. 그로부터 만들어지는 제품은 본래 유연성과 쾌적한 감촉을 가진다. 가소제에 의한 마감처리는 필요하지 않지만, 실제로 흡수성과 흡수 속도가 명백히 감소되기 때문에 역효과를 가진다.
실시예 2:
기재의 경사는 실시예 1에서와 동일하게 면사(Ne 23.5/2 또는 Ne 12/1) 100%로 구성되고, 위사는 면사(Ne 16.5/1) 100%로 구성된다. 파일용으로는, 모달 섬유(2.5 dtex, 절단 길이 51mm) 88%와 PVA(Ne 12 제로-트위스트 얀) 12%의 얀 혼합물이 사용된다. 제품의 추가 처리시, PVA 섬유가 추출되고, 그 결과 제품의 중량이 감소된다. 완성된 제품은 우수한 흡수성 및 매우 높은 체적의 루프형 얀을 나타낸다. 절단 길이가 51mm인 2.5 dtex 모달 섬유를 사용한 결과로서, 루프형 얀에서의 섬유 결합이 향상됨으로써, 그러한 타월은 면으로 만들어진 제로-트위스트 얀으로부터 제조되는 타월(비교용)에 비해 사용시 섬유 손실이 훨씬 적다.
실시예 3:
기재의 경사는 면사(Ne 23.5/2 또는 Ne 12/1) 100%로 구성되고, 위사 또한 면사(Ne 16.5/1) 100%로 구성된다. 파일용으로는, 트리로벌 단면을 가진 모달 섬유(2.5 dtex, 절단 길이 38mm) 50% 및 면(Ne 16.5/1) 50%가 사용된다. 완성 제품은 우수한 흡수성, 높은 벌크성 및 우수한 벌크 안정성을 나타낸다. 그로부터 만들어지는 제품은 본래 유연성과 쾌적한 감촉을 가진다. 가소제에 의한 마감처리는 필요하지 않으나, 실제로 흡수성과 흡수 속도가 명백히 감소되기 때문에 역효과를 가진다. 벌크성, 벌크 안정성, 흡수 속도 및 흡수성은 실시예 1에 비해 훨씬 향상된다.

Claims (20)

  1. 직물 기재 및 상기 기재와 연관된(associated) 파일(pile)로 구성되는 테리 제품(terry product)으로서,
    상기 기재 및/또는 상기 파일이 비스코스 섬유, 모달 섬유(modal fibre), 폴리노직(polynosic) 섬유 및 리오셀(lyocell)로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 셀룰로스 섬유를 적어도 부분적으로 포함하고, 상기 셀룰로스 섬유는 2.2 dtex 내지 4.5 dtex의 타이터(titre)를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 셀룰로스 섬유가 2.2 dtex 내지 3.3 dtex의 타이터를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품.
  3. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 셀룰로스 섬유가 2.5 dtex 내지 2.8 dtex의 타이터를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품.
  4. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 셀룰로스 섬유가 2.5 dtex 내지 2.6 dtex의 타이터를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품.
  5. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 셀룰로스 섬유가 30mm 내지 60mm의 절단 길이를 가진 셀룰로스 스테이플(staple) 섬유인 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품.
  6. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 셀룰로스 섬유가 38mm 내지 51mm의 절단 길이를 가진 셀룰로스 스테이플(staple) 섬유인 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품.
  7. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 셀룰로스 섬유가 멀티로벌(multilobal) 단면을 가진 셀룰로스 스테이플 섬유인 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품.
  8. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 셀룰로스 섬유가 트리로벌(trilobal) 단면을 가진 셀룰로스 스테이플 섬유인 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품.
  9. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 셀룰로스 섬유가 얀 또는 그로부터 제조된 연사(撚絲; twisted yarn) 형태로 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품.
  10. 제9항에 있어서,
    상기 얀이, 링 방적사(ring spun yarn), 사이로 얀(siro yarn), 코어 방적사(core-spun yarn), 콤팩트 얀(compact yarn), OE-얀, 에어젯 얀, 셔닐 얀(chenille yarn), 루프형 얀, 및 제로-트위스트(zero-twist) 얀으로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품.
  11. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 셀룰로스 섬유가, 면, 폴리에스테르, 울, 폴리테트라플루오로에틸렌, 폴리프로필렌, 폴리아미드, 폴리아크릴, 폴리비닐 알코올, 리넨, 실크, 비스코스, 리오넬, 폴리노직 및 모달로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 섬유 물질과의 혼합물로 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품.
  12. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 직물 기재 및/또는 파일이 셀룰로스 섬유 또는 셀룰로스 섬유를 포함하는 혼합물로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품.
  13. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 기재 및/또는 상기 파일에서의 상기 셀룰로스 섬유의 비율이 1% 내지 100% 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품.
  14. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 기재 및/또는 상기 파일에서의 상기 셀룰로스 섬유의 비율이 10% 내지 100% 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품.
  15. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 기재 및/또는 상기 파일에서의 상기 셀룰로스 섬유의 비율이 30% 내지 100% 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품.
  16. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 파일의 경사(warp)가 100%의 모달 섬유로 된 스레드(thread) 및 100%의 면 또는 폴리에스테르, 울, 폴리프로필렌, 폴리아미드, 폴리아크릴, 폴리비닐 알코올, 리넨, 실크, 비스코스, 폴리노직 또는 리오셀로 된 스레드로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품.
  17. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 파일이 얀 루프 또는 깎여진(shorn) 얀 루프로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품.
  18. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 기재가, 직조된 직물(woven fabrics), 경편포(warp-knitted fabrics), 편성포(knitted fabrics) 및 스티치 편성포(stitch-knitted fabrics)로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품.
  19. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
    타월, 비치 타월, 목욕 타월, 사우나 타월, 욕의(浴衣), 행주, 욕실 카펫, 티(tea) 타월, 침구, 유아 의류, 스포츠웨어, 양말, 라이닝 재료 및 기저귀로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 물품의 형태 또는 그의 성분으로 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품.
  20. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,
    침구용 리넨, 매트리스, 모포 커버 및 매트리스 지지체로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 물품의 형태 또는 그의 성분으로 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 테리 제품.
