Claims (5)
- 일반식: (M1)x(M2)Y(Si,Al)12(O,N)16(단, M1은 Li, Mg, Ca, Y 및 란타니드족 금속(La와 Ce를 제외함)으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 1종 이상의 원소이며, M2는 Ce, Pr, Eu, Tb, Yb 및 Er로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 1종 이상의 원소이며, 0.3<X+Y<15이며, 0<Y<0.7임)으로 표시되는 α형 사이알론 분말의 제조 방법으로서,(a) 질화규소(b) 질화알루미늄(c) M1 함유 화합물(d) M2 함유 화합물 및(e) 필요에 따라, 산화알루미늄을 포함하는 혼합 분말을, 벌크 밀도가 1.5g/cm3을 초과하지 않도록 용기에 충전하고,질소 분위기에서 1600∼2000℃로 가열 처리함으로써 α형 사이알론을 제조하고,상기 가열 처리에 의해 얻어진 상기α형 사이알론을 분쇄 처리함으로써,상기 분쇄 처리에 의한 α형 사이알론 분말의 평균 입경이 1㎛ 이상이며, 전체 α형 사이알론 분말의 90부피%가 15㎛ 이하의 입경이 되도록, α형 사이알론 분말을 제조하는 것을 특징으로 하는, α형 사이알론 분말의 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 혼합 분말 중의 M1은 Ca이며, 0.01<Y/(X+Y)<0.7인 것을 특징으로 하는 α형 사이알론 분말의 제조 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 용기는, 상기 혼합 분말과 접촉하는 부분이 적어도 질화붕소를 포함하는 용기인 것을 특징으로 하는 α형 사이알론 분말의 제조 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 α형 사이알론 분말의 제조 방법에 의해 제조된 것을 특징으로 하는 α형 사이알론 분말.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 α형 사이알론 분말의 평균 입경은 2∼7㎛이며, 전체 α형 사이알론 분말의 80부피%가 1∼10㎛의 입경 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 α형 사이알론 분말.
