- 일반식: (Ml)x(M2)Y(Si,Al)12(O,N)l6(여기에서, M1은 Li, Mg, Ca, Y 및 란타니드족 금속(La와 Ce를 제외함)으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 1종 이상의 원소이며, M2는 Ce, Pr, Eu, Tb, Yb, Er로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 1종 이상의 원소이며, 0.3<X+Y<1.5, 0<Y<0.7)으로 표시되며, 불순물로서 불소를 0.003 중량% 내지 1 중량% 포함하며, 1차 입자 직경의 평균이 1∼10㎛인 것을 특징으로 하는, α형 사이알론 형광체.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 불순물인 불소를 0.003 중량% - 0.02 중량% 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는, α형 사이알론 형광체.
- 제4항 또는 제5항에 있어서,상기 M1이 Ca이며, 0.01<Y/(X+Y)<0.7인 것을 특징으로 하는, α형 사이알론 형광체.
- 일반식: (Cax, MY)(Si,Al)12(O,N)16(여기에서, M은 Ce, Pr, Eu, Tb, Yb, Er로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 1종 이상의 원소이며, 0.3<X+Y<1.5, 0<Y<0.7)으로 표시되는 α형 사이알론 형광체의 제조 방법으로서,(1) (a) 질화규소, (b) 질화알루미늄, (c) 불화칼슘 및 (d) M의 산화물 또는 질화물을 포함하는 혼합 분말, 또는(2) (a) 질화규소, (b) 질화알루미늄, (c) 불화칼슘, (d) M의 산화물 또는 질화물, 및 (e) 산화알루미늄을 포함하는 혼합 분말을 가열하는 단계; 및상기 가열 단계에서 얻어진 생성물을 원하는 입경으로 분쇄하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, α형 사이알론 형광체의 제조 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 가열 처리 후에, 산처리하여 잔류 불화물을 제거하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, α형 사이알론 형광체의 제조 방법.
- 제7항 또는 제8항에 있어서,상기 불화칼슘의 일부는, 산화칼슘 또는 가열에 의해 산화칼슘으로 되는 칼슘 화합물인 것을 특징으로 하는, α형 사이알론 형광체의 제조 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 불화칼슘의 비율은, 전체 칼슘 mol량을 기준으로, 10mol% 이상인 것을 특징으로 하는, α형 사이알론 형광체의 제조 방법.
- 일반식: (Cax,MY)(Si,Al)12(O,N)16(여기에서, M은 Ce, Pr, Eu, Tb, Yb, Er로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 1종 이상의 원소이며, 0.3<X+Y<1.5, 0<Y<0.7)으로 표시되는 α형 사이알론 형광체의 제조 방법으로서,(1) (a) 질화규소, (b) 질화알루미늄, (c) 불화칼슘 및 (d) M의 산화물 또는 질화물을 포함하는 혼합 분말, 또는(2) (a) 질화규소, (b) 질화알루미늄, (c) 불화칼슘, (d) M의 산화물 또는 질화물, 및 (e) 산화알루미늄을 포함하는 혼합 분말에, Be, Mg 및 Ca를 제외한 IIA족 원소 또는 IVA족 원소의 불화물을 플럭스제로서 첨가하고, 가열하여, 얻어진 생성물을 소정의 입경으로 분쇄하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, α형 사이알론 형광체의 제조 방법.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 분쇄 후에, 잔류 플럭스제를 제거하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, α형 사이알론 형광체의 제조 방법.
