Abstract

Claims (4)
- 서로 대향한 상태로 접합된 2장의 유리 기판을 갖는 전기 광학 패널의 제조 방법에 있어서,2장의 대판 유리 기판을 접합하여 대판 패널 기판을 제조하는 공정과,상기 대판 패널 기판의 측면에 마스크를 형성하는 마스크 형성 공정과,상기 마스크 형성 후에, 상기 대판 패널 기판의 외면을 에칭하는 에칭 공정과,상기 에칭 후에, 상기 마스크를 제거하는 마스크 제거 공정과,상기 대판 패널 기판을 분단하여 복수의 전기 광학 패널을 제조하는 공정을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 패널의 제조 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 마스크 형성 공정은 에칭에 사용하는 에칭액에 대하여 내약성을 갖는 마스크 재료에 의해 상기 마스크를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 패널의 제조 방법.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 에칭 공정에서 사용되는 에칭액은 플루오르산 또는 플루오르산계의 약액인 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 패널의 제조 방법.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 에칭 공정은 상기 전기 광학 패널의 면을 적어도 10㎛의 깊이에 걸쳐 에칭하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 광학 패널의 제조 방법.
