Description
Claims (25)
- 조직(tissue)을 소작(cauterizing)하는 장비로서,조직 덩어리(tissue mass)의 처리 표면(treatment surface)들과 체결(engagement)되는 복수의 전극들(a plurality electrodes);상기 처리 표면들 사이의 조직을 소작하기 위해 상기 전극들에게 고주파수 전력(high frequency power)을 선택적으로 인가하는, 상기 전극들에 접속가능한 전력 공급장치(power supply);상기 전극들에 근접하여 또는 상기 조직에 근접하여, 상기 고주파수 전력을 감시(monitoring)하기 위한 수단; 및전류, 전압, 임피던스(impedence), 에너지, 전력, 시간, 및 온도 중 임의의 두 가지에 의거하여, 상기 고주파수 전력을 변조(modulating)하기 위한 알고리즘 프로그램(algorithm program);을포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 전극들 중 적어도 하나는 순응성의(conformable) 도전 표면(electrically conductive surface)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 전극들 중 적어도 하나는 강성의(rigid) 도전 표면을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.
- 조직을 소작하는 장비로서,하나 이상의 조직 표면과 체결되는 복수의 전극들;상기 전극들에 라디오 주파수 에너지(radio frequency energy)를 선택적으로 인가하기 위해 상기 전극들에 선택적으로 접속가능한 복수의 채널들(channels)을 가지며, 소작될 조직에 의거한 선택가능하고 조정가능한 다수의 설정들(settings)을 제공하는 전력 공급장치;소작하는 동안 감시되는, 전류, 전압, 임피던스, 에너지, 전력, 시간, 및 온도 중 임의의 것에 의거하여 실시간으로 공급 전력을 변조하기 위한 자동 피드백 시스템(automatic feedback system); 및상기 전극들을 통하여 라디오 주파수 에너지를 상기 조직에 인가하기 위해, 상기 전극들 중 적어도 하나를 선택적으로 통전하고(energize), 상기 전극들에 의해 접촉된 조직을 소작하기에 충분한 양 및 시간 동안 상기 전극들의 적어도 두 개를 통하여 상기 조직에 전력을 독립적으로 인가하도록, 상기 전력 공급장치로부터 상기 전극들에 상기 라디오 주파수 에너지를 공급하는 수단;을 포함하며,상기 라디오 주파수 에너지는 각각의 개별 전극에 대해 독립적으로 전달되고, 감시되고, 변조되고, 종료되며;각 전극은 실시간으로 변조되는 상이한 전력 커브(power curve)를 가질 수 있는 것;을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 자동 피드백 시스템은 전류, 전압, 임피던스, 에너지, 전력, 시간, 및 온도 중 임의의 것 , 및 이들의 임의의 조합을 포함하는 파라미터들(parameters)을 감시하기 위한 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,이전의 경험적 분석에 의거하여 조직 봉합의 품질을 판정하는 알고리즘(algorithm) 내에 상기 감시된 파라미터들을 결합시키는 수학적 모델을 더 포함하고,실행되는 절차(procedure)의 조건들을 안전하고 반복적으로 만족시키도록 경험적으로 정해진 조건들(conditions)이 만족되었을 경우, 소작 사이클(cycle)을 종료함으로써 조직 봉합을 최적화하기 위하여 전력 공급장치의 출력이 변조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 조건들에는, 임피던스, 온도, 및 압력 값 중 임의의 것이 포함되고,상기 변조에는, 임피던스 임계치(threshold), 압력 임계치, 및 온도 임계치 중에서 선정된 어느 임계치가 일단 도달되었을 경우, 소정 시점(predetermined point)을 너머 소정 양의 시간 동안 전력 레벨을 지속시키는 것, 또는 상기 전력 레벨을 감소(또는 역으로 증가)시키는 것이 포함되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,상기 알고리즘은 조직 봉합 사이클을 최적화 시키며, 상기 알고리즘은 다수의 변조들, 스텝 함수들(step functions), 전력의 지속적인 변화들, 전압의 지속적인 변화들, 또는 에너지의 지속적인 변화들 중 임의의 것을 포함하며;각 전극은, 특정 전극이 접촉하는 조직의 특정 부분에 대한 피드백 데이터의 결과로서, 상이한 사이클 주기 및 전력, 전류, 전압, 그리고 에너지 프로파일을 가질 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 전력 공급장치는 일정 전력 출력 회로(constant output power circuit)를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 전력 공급장치는, 프로파일에 따라 원하는 전력을 설정하기 위한 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 전력 공급장치는, 다수의 전극들 각각에 전원을 제공하도록 각각이 독립적으로 조정가능한 복수의 출력 채널들(output channels)을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 자동 피드백 시스템은 하나 이상의 센서를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 전력 공급장치는, 원하는 소작 절차에 따라서 상기 전극들 사이에 전력 커브와 전력 분포로 동작시키기 위하여 하나 이상의 프로파일에 의해 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,특정 소작 절차를 위해 상기 전력 공급장치를 구성하는데 사용되는 스마트 카드(smart card)를 판독하고, 상기 소작 절차 동안 상기 전력 공급장치의 동작을 표시하는 정보를 기록하기 위한 스마트 카드 판독기를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 전력 공급장치는, 소작되는 조직의 실시간 프로파일을 획득하기 위한, 그리고 특정 소작 절차에 대해 미리 설립된 프로파일을 적용하기 위해 상기 실시간 프로파일을 이용하기 위한 수단을 더 포함하고,특정 소작 절차에 대해 이전에 설립된 프로파일을 소작되는 조직의 실시간 프로파일에 따라서 변형시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 전력 공급장치는, 종료점에 근접하는 때를 판정하는 임계치를 설정하기 위한 수단을 더 포함하고,상기 임계치는, 임피던스, 전류, 전압, 에너지, 전력, 온도, 시간 요소, 및 이들의 조합 중 임의의 것을 포함하는 측정치들에 의해 결정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 자동 피드백 시스템은, 소작하는 동안 두 개 이상의 파라미터를 감시하기 위한, 그리고 하나의 임계치에 도달한 경우를 판정하기 위한 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.

- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 자동 피드백 시스템은, 하나 이상의 상기 전극과 관련된 기구의 표면을 따라 하나 이상의 물리적 천이와 연관하여 온도를 측정하기 위한 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 자동 피드백 시스템은, 하나 이상의 상기 전극과 관련된 적어도 하나의 프로브 턱(probe jaw)의 길이를 따라 놓여진 국부 스트레인 게이지들(strain gauges)로 소작의 효과를 측정하기 위한 수단을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.
- 제 21 항에 있어서,상기 스트레인 게이지들은 소작 프로파일을 미리 계산하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 전력 공급장치는, 임피던스, 압력, 또는 이들 파라미터들의 임의의 조합들을 이용하여, 사이클 시작 시에 조직이 각 전극에 존재하는 지의 여부를 검지하기 위한 수단을 더 포함하고,조직이 존재하지 않는 전극 쌍은 휴지 상태(idle)로 되고, 상기 전력 공급장치는 휴지 상태인 전극을 표시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조직 소작용 장비.
