Claims (3)
- (A) 하기 화학식 I-1로 표시되는 반복 단위와, (B) 하기 화학식 I-2로 표시되는 반복 단위를 갖는 중합체를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 수직 배향성 액정 배향제.<화학식 I-1>식 중, P1은 4가의 유기기이고, Q1은 2가의 유기기이다.<화학식 I-2>식 중, P2는 4가의 유기기이고, Q2는 하기 화학식 Q-1 또는 하기 화학식 Q-2로 표시되는 2가의 기이다.<화학식 Q-1>식 중, X1은 단결합, -O-, -CO-, -COO-, -OCO-, -NHCO-, -CONH-, -S- 또는 아릴렌기이고, R1은 탄소수 10 내지 20의 알킬기, 탄소수 4 내지 40의 지환식 골격을 갖는 1가의 유기기 또는 탄소수 6 내지 20의 불소 원자를 갖는 1가의 유기기이다.<화학식 Q-2>식 중, X2 및 X3은 동일하거나 또는 상이하며, 단결합, -O-, -CO-, -COO-, -OCO-, -NHCO-, -CONH-, -S- 또는 아릴렌기이고, R2는 탄소수 4 내지 40의 지환식 골격을 갖는 2가의 유기기이다.
- 제1항에 있어서, 중합체가 이미드환을 갖는 전체 반복 단위 중, 상기 화학식 I-2로 표시되는 반복 단위를 5 몰% 이상 함유하는 것인 액정 배향제.
- 제1항에 있어서, 액정셀을 형성하는 적어도 한쪽 기판 상에 돌기 형상을 갖는 수직 배향형 액정 표시 소자에 사용되는 액정 배향제.
