Abstract

Claims (9)
- 한 쌍의 전극 사이에 적어도 발광층을 구비한 기능층을 구비하여 이루어지는 유기 EL 장치의 제조 방법에 있어서,상기 발광층 표면의 산술 평균 표면 조도(Ra)가 0.3nm≤Ra≤2nm가 되도록,상기 발광층의 형성 재료를 액적(液滴) 토출법으로 배치하는 도포 공정과,상기 도포 공정에 의해 배치된 상기 발광층의 형성 재료를 진공 건조법으로 건조하는 건조 공정을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 EL 장치의 제조 방법.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 기능층으로서의 정공 주입/수송층을 포함하고,상기 정공 주입/수송층의 표면의 산술 평균 표면 조도가 1nm≤Ra≤2nm가 되도록,상기 정공 주입/수송층의 형성 재료를 액적 토출법으로 배치하는 도포 공정과,상기 도포 공정에 의해 배치된 상기 정공 주입/수송층의 형성 재료를 진공 건조법으로 건조하는 건조 공정을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 EL 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 기능층 중 적어도 일층의 건조 공정을 대기압으로부터 1Torr까지 감압하는 시간이 소정의 값이 되도록 배기 속도를 조정하여 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 EL 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 대기압으로부터 1Torr까지 감압하는 시간이 3 내지 5분 사이인 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 EL 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 대기압으로부터 1Torr까지 감압을 일정 비율로 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 EL 장치의 제조 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 대기압으로부터의 감압시에 기판 온도를 일정하게 유지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유기 EL 장치의 제조 방법.
