Abstract
Description
第1磁界アンテナを有するRFIDタグと、
前記RFIDタグをランダムな方向で収容する物品と、
前記物品を搬送する搬送路と、
前記第1磁界アンテナと磁界結合による通信を行い、前記搬送路に沿って配置された第2磁界アンテナを有するリーダライタと、を備え、
前記第2磁界アンテナの開口面と前記RFIDタグとが対向するように前記搬送路が前記RFIDタグを搬送している間に、前記第2磁界アンテナは磁束を放射し、
前記第2磁界アンテナの法線方向における前記RFIDタグと前記第2磁界アンテナとの距離は、前記第2磁界アンテナの開口直径よりも小さい、
RFIDシステムである。
以下に、本発明の実施の形態1にかかるRFID(Radio-Frequency IDentification)システムについて説明する。図1は、実施の形態1のRFIDシステムを示す平面図である。図中において、X−Y−Z座標系は、発明の理解を容易にするものであって、発明を限定するものではない。X軸方向はベルトコンベア60の長手方向、すなわち、物品4の搬送方向を示し、Y軸方向はベルトコンベア60の幅方向を示し、Z軸方向はベルトコンベア60の高さ方向を示している。X、Y、Z方向は互いに直交する。
RFIDシステム2は、RFIDタグ10と、RFIDタグ10が収容された物品4を搬送する搬送装置6と、RFIDタグ10と通信を行うリーダライタ8と、RFIDタグ10と通信するデータを管理するパソコン9を備える。
図2を参照する。図2は、物品4の一例を示す説明図である。物品4は、例えば、球状で内部が空洞のケース4aと、ケース4aの内部に収容されたおもちゃ62とを有する。RFIDタグ10も、物品4のケース4aの内部に収容されている。ケース4aの内部に収容されるものは、おもちゃ62以外のものでもよい。また、RFIDタグ10は、おもちゃ62の内部に埋め込まれていてもよい。ケース4aは曲面4cを有し、物品4の曲面4cは、ベルトコンベア60のベルト部60aに向けて膨出している。
次に、図11から図13を参照してRFIDタグ10の構成について説明する。図11は、RFIDタグ10の斜視図である。図12は、RFIDタグ10の断面図である。図13は、RFIDタグ10における多層基板の分解斜視図である。図中において、a−b−c座標系は、発明の理解を容易にするものであって、発明を限定するものではない。c軸方向はRFIDタグの厚さ方向を示している。a、b、c方向は互いに直交する。
次に、タグ情報の管理について図14を参照して説明する。図14は、実施の形態1のRFIDシステム2のブロック図である。リーダライタ8によりRFIDタグ10から読み取られたタグ情報は、データ制御部70に送られてそれぞれのRFIDタグ10のタグ情報が認識される。読み取られたそれぞれのタグ情報は記憶部72に記憶される。パソコン9は、データ制御部70及び記憶部72を備える。なお、データ制御部70は、例えば、CPU、マイクロプロセッサ、FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)のいずれか、または、これらの組合せにより構成される。記憶部72は、例えば、ハードディスク、メモリ、SSD(Solid State Drive)のいずれか、または、これらの組合せにより構成される。
次に、本発明の実施の形態2のRFIDシステムについて図21を参照して説明する。図21は、実施の形態2のRFIDシステムの構成を示す図である。

- 第1磁界アンテナを有するRFIDタグと、
前記RFIDタグをランダムな方向で収容する物品と、
前記物品を搬送する搬送路と、
前記第1磁界アンテナと磁界結合による通信を行い、前記搬送路に沿って配置された第2磁界アンテナを有するリーダライタと、を備え、
前記第2磁界アンテナの開口面と前記RFIDタグとが対向するように前記搬送路が前記RFIDタグを搬送している間に、前記第2磁界アンテナは磁束を放射し、
前記第2磁界アンテナの法線方向における前記RFIDタグと前記第2磁界アンテナとの距離は、前記第2磁界アンテナの開口直径よりも小さい、
