Claims (13)
- 内燃機関と、
前記内燃機関の出力軸に機械的に接続された第1電動機と、
前記第1電動機に電気的に接続されたバッテリと、
電動車両が備える駆動輪に機械的に接続され、且つ前記第1電動機により発電された電力及び前記バッテリから供給された電力により前記駆動輪を駆動する第2電動機と、を備える
前記電動車両を制御する車両制御装置の車両制御方法であって、
前記内燃機関が停止した状態において、前記第2電動機に要求される駆動力が増加した場合、前記バッテリが供給する電力によって前記第2電動機が出力する駆動力を、前記バッテリが前記電動車両を駆動させるために供給可能な電力から定まる最大の駆動力よりも低く制限し、
前記低く制限された駆動力を前記第2電動機が出力してから、前記内燃機関が始動して前記第1電動機が発電を始める迄の間、前記バッテリが供給する電力によって前記第2電動機が出力する駆動力を、時間の経過に従って増加させる
ことを特徴とする車両制御装置の車両制御方法。 - 前記低く制限された駆動力は、前記最大の駆動力から、前記内燃機関の始動に要する時間によって定まる余剰駆動力を減算した値であるバッテリ駆動制限閾値であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両制御装置の車両制御方法。
- 前記低く制限された駆動力は、前記最大の駆動力から、前記内燃機関の始動に要する時間及び駆動力の第1勾配によって定まる余剰駆動力を減算した値であるバッテリ駆動制限閾値であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両制御装置の車両制御方法。
- 前記第2電動機に要求される駆動力が、前記バッテリ駆動制限閾値と等しい又は前記バッテリ駆動制限閾値よりも高い場合、前記内燃機関を始動させるための処理を開始することを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載の車両制御装置の車両制御方法。
- 前記内燃機関を始動させるための処理を開始した後に、
前記第2電動機に要求される駆動力が、前記バッテリ駆動制限閾値よりも低くなった場合、前記内燃機関を始動させるための処理を中断することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の車両制御装置の車両制御方法。 - 前記バッテリ駆動制限閾値が、所定の下限駆動力よりも低くなった場合、前記内燃機関の出力軸を回転させることを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載の車両制御装置の車両制御方法。
- 前記バッテリ駆動制限閾値は、前記電動車両のアクセルがオフ状態である時に前記第2電動機が出力する駆動力よりも大きく、且つ力行側であることを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載の車両制御装置の車両制御方法。
- 前記内燃機関の出力軸を回転させる時の回転数を、前記第1電動機が所定の下限発電電力を発電する為に必要な回転数に制限することを特徴とする請求項6に記載の車両制御装置の車両制御方法。
- 前記低く制限された駆動力を前記第2電動機が出力してから、前記内燃機関が始動して前記第1電動機が発電を始める迄の間、前記第2電動機が出力する駆動力の第1勾配を、前記第1電動機が発電を始めた後、前記第2電動機が出力する駆動力の第2勾配よりも小さくすることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の車両制御装置の車両制御方法。
- 前記下限発電電力は、所定以上の加速度変化を生じさせる駆動力から定まることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の車両制御装置の車両制御方法。
- 前記第1電動機が発電する電力の上限値である上限発電電力を、前記バッテリが充電可能な電力によって定めることを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の車両制御装置の車両制御方法。
- 外気温が低いほどバッテリ駆動制限閾値を低く設定することを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載の車両制御装置の車両制御方法。
