Claims (5)
- スポット溶接用ガンのシャンク先端に装着された電極を挟持具で挟持しながら当該挟持具を電極中心軸周りに回転させることにより上記シャンク先端から取り外す電極取外作業を行うか、又は、上記シャンク先端に装着された上記電極の先端面に切削カッターを接触させるとともに当該切削カッターを電極中心軸周りに回転させることにより上記電極先端面を切削する電極切削作業を行う回転作業装置であって、
内方に上記挟持具か又は上記切削カッターが装着され、且つ、外周に複数の歯部を環状に有し、互いの回転中心が同方向に向くよう径方向に並設された一対の回転体と、
該両回転体の各歯部に噛み合う中間歯車及び該中間歯車を回転させるサーボモータを有する駆動手段と、
上記サーボモータに接続され、且つ、互いに異なる第1回転数及び該第1回転数より高回転数である第2回転数を記憶する記憶部を有し、上記両回転体の少なくとも一方で電極取外作業を行う際、上記サーボモータに取外開始信号を出力して上記第1回転数で上記両回転体を回転させる一方、上記両回転体の少なくとも他方で電極切削作業を行う際、上記サーボモータに切削開始信号を出力して上記第2回転数で上記両回転体を回転させる制御手段とを備えていることを特徴とする回転作業装置。 - 請求項1に記載の回転作業装置において、
上記回転体の径方向外側には、使用前の上記電極をその電極中心軸が上記回転体の回転中心と同方向に向く姿勢で複数格納可能な電極格納手段が設けられ、
該電極格納手段に格納された上記電極の取出位置は、上記両回転体の回転中心を結ぶ直線上に位置していることを特徴とする回転作業装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の回転作業装置において、
上記サーボモータは、その回転軸が上記両回転体の回転中心と交差する方向に延びる姿勢で設けられていることを特徴とする回転作業装置。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか1つに記載の回転作業装置において、
上記サーボモータの回転軸は、上記回転体よりも上方に位置していることを特徴とする回転作業装置。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか1つに記載の回転作業装置において、
上記挟持具は、回転中心が上記回転体の回転中心と合致した状態で回転可能な環状体と、
該環状体の回転中心周りに等間隔に設けられ、回転中心と同方向に延びる支軸により回転中心側に回動可能に軸支された複数の押圧部材とを備え、
該各押圧部材には、突起が反回転中心側に突設される一方、上記回転体内周面には、上記各突起が遊嵌する凹部が複数凹設され、
上記電極を上記各押圧部材間において電極中心軸が回転中心と合致するようセットした状態で上記回転体を回転中心周りの一方に回転させ、当該回転体の上記挟持具に対する相対的な回転動作で上記各凹部内面が上記各突起を回転方向一方側に押すことにより、上記各押圧部材が回転中心側に回動するとともに上記電極外周面を押圧して上記電極を挟み込み、さらなる上記回転体の回転中心周り一方側への回転動作により上記電極を上記挟持具とともに回転させて上記シャンク先端から取り外すことを特徴とする回転作業装置。
