Claims (14)
- 側面及び底面を有する金属ケースと、
前記金属ケース内に収容された複数の素電池と
を備えた電池ブロックであって、
前記素電池は、第1の極と、該第1の極と電気的に絶縁され、前記素電池の電池ケースを兼ねる第2の極とを有し、
前記複数の素電池は、前記第1の極の方向を揃えて配列されており、
前記複数の素電池の第1の極は、前記金属ケースの開口側に配置された接続体に接続されており、
前記複数の素電池の前記第2の極は、前記金属ケースの底面に接続されており、
前記金属ケースの側面の高さは、前記素電池の高さと略同一であって、前記金属ケースの開口側は、前記接続体によってほぼ覆われている、電池ブロック。 - 前記素電池の電池ケースの前記第1の極側の肩部と、前記接続体との間に、絶縁性のスペーサが配設されている、請求項1に記載の電池ブロック。
- 前記スペーサは、弾性部材からなる、請求項2に記載の電池ブロック。
- 前記複数の素電池は、前記金属ケース内に収容された絶縁性のホルダーで保持されており、
前記ホルダーは、複数の筒部が一体的に形成されたものからなり、前記素電池の外側面は、前記筒部の内側面に当接して固定されている、請求項1に記載の電池ブロック。 - 前記ホルダーは、前記金属ケースの側面に沿って延びる固定部をさらに有し、
前記固定部の一端において、前記ホルダーが前記金属ケースの底面に固定されている、請求項4に記載の電池ブロック。 - 前記固定部の他端において、前記ホルダーが前記接続体に固定されている、請求項5に記載の電池ブロック。
- 前記ホルダーは、前記スペーサと一体的に形成されている、請求項4に記載の電池ブロック。
- 前記接続体は、前記金属ケースの側面近傍に延出した第1の極の接続端子を有し、
前記金属ケースの側面は、その開口側端部において、前記金属ケースの側面よりも外方に向けて屈曲した第2の接続端子を有し、
前記第1の接続端子と前記第2の接続端子とは、互いに反対方向に位置している、請求項1に記載の電池ブロック。 - 前記素電池の電池ケースの外側面は、筒状の伝熱部材で覆われており、
隣接する素電池は、互いの伝熱部材同士が接触して配列されているとともに、外側の素電池は、該素電池の伝熱部材が前記金属ケースの側面に接触して配列されている、請求項1に記載の電池ブロック。 - 前記伝熱部材は、金属部材からなる、請求項9に記載の電池ブロック。
- 前記素電池の電池ケースの底面は、前記金属ケースの底面に溶接されている、請求項1に記載の電池ブロック。
- 前記金属ケースの底面は、前記素電池の電池ケースの底面が当接する部位において、その厚みが薄くなっている、請求項11に記載の電池ブロック。
- 前記素電池の電池ケースの底面が当接する部位の一部に孔が設けられている、請求項11に記載の電池ブロック。
- 請求項8に記載の電池ブロックが複数個、絶縁性の筐体に収容された電池モジュールであって、
前記電池ブロックの第1の接続端子は、隣接する電池ブロックの第2の接続端子と当接して直列接続されている、電池モジュール。
