Abstract
Description
実施例1では、図3に示した情報記録媒体6から反射層を省いた層構成を有する情報記録媒体を作製した。
実施例2では、図3に示した情報記録媒体6から反射層を省いた層構成を有する情報記録媒体を作製した。記録層の作製に用いられるTe−O−M材料には、元素Mとして、実施例1で用いたPd以外のRu、Rh、Ag、Re、Os、Ir、Pt及びAuを用いたものを使用した。
実施例3では、図2に示した情報記録媒体1と同様の層構成を有する情報記録媒体を作製した。
実施例4では、4個の情報層が積層された情報記録媒体、すなわち、図5に示した情報記録媒体28においてn=4の場合の情報記録媒体を作製した。各情報層における記録層の材料としてTe−O−Pdを用い、作製されたサンプルディスクについて実施例1と同様の方法で初期のC/N比と環境信頼性(加速試験後のC/N比劣化量)とを調べた。

Claims (8)
- 基板と、記録層を含む情報層とを備え、レーザ光が照射されることによって情報の記録及び再生が行われる情報記録媒体であって、
前記記録層が、Te、O及びM(Mは、Ru、Rh、Pd、Ag、Re、Os、Ir、Pt、Auから選ばれる少なくとも1種の元素)からなる材料を主成分として含み、
前記材料において、Te原子の含有割合が1〜19原子%、O原子の含有割合が20〜70原子%、M原子の含有割合が11〜79原子%である、情報記録媒体。 - 前記材料において、Te原子の含有割合が1〜19原子%、O原子の含有割合が40〜70原子%、M原子の含有割合が11〜59原子%である、請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記材料において、M原子の含有割合が35原子%を超える、請求項2に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記情報層が、前記記録層に隣接して配置された誘電体層をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記情報層が、前記記録層に対してレーザ光入射側と反対側に配置された反射層をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記記録層の膜厚が3nm〜200nmである、請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。
- 前記基板上に、第1情報層〜第n情報層(nは2以上の整数)がこの順で分離層を介して互いに積層されており、
前記第1情報層〜前記第n情報層から選ばれる少なくとも1つが前記記録層を含む、請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体。 - 請求項1に記載の情報記録媒体の製造方法であって、
前記情報層を形成する工程を含み、前記工程において、前記記録層を気相薄膜堆積法によって形成する、情報記録媒体の製造方法。
