Claims (18)
- 記録媒体に対する情報記録に光を利用する記録ヘッドであって、記録媒体上で浮上しながら相対的に移動するスライダと、そのスライダに設けられた、コアとクラッドとの屈折率差が20%以上の光導波路と、を有することを特徴とする記録ヘッド。
- 近赤外波長の光を出射する光源部をさらに有し、前記光導波路のコア材料がシリコンであり、前記光導波路が前記スライダと一体化されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の記録ヘッド。
- 磁気による情報の書き込みを行う磁気記録素子、又は磁気による情報の読み取りを行う磁気再生素子を、さらに有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の記録ヘッド。
- 前記光導波路の光出射位置又はその近傍に近接場光発生用のプラズモンプローブをさらに有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の記録ヘッド。
- 前記プラズモンプローブが曲率半径20nm以下の頂点を有するアンテナ又はアパーチャから成ることを特徴とする請求項4記載の記録ヘッド。
- 磁気による情報の書き込みを行う磁気記録素子をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項4記載の記録ヘッド。
- 前記プラズモンプローブからの光による熱と、前記磁気記録素子による磁気と、で前記記録媒体に対する記録動作を行うことを特徴とする請求項6記載の記録ヘッド。
- 前記光源部が光ファイバーであることを特徴とする請求項2記載の記録ヘッド。
- 前記光源部からの光を前記光導波路に向けて偏向する偏向手段をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項2記載の記録ヘッド。
- 前記偏向手段がプリズムであることを特徴とする請求項9記載の記録ヘッド。
- 請求項1記載の記録ヘッドを有することを特徴とする記録装置。
- 記録媒体に対する情報記録に光を利用する記録ヘッドであって、記録媒体上で浮上しながら相対的に移動するスライダと、そのスライダに設けられた光導波路と、前記光導波路の光出射位置又はその近傍に設けられた近接場光発生用のプラズモンプローブと、を有することを特徴とする記録ヘッド。
- 前記光導波路はコアとクラッドとの屈折率差が20%以上であることを特徴とする請求項12記載の記録ヘッド。
- 磁気による情報の書き込みを行う磁気記録素子をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項12記載の記録ヘッド。
- 前記プラズモンプローブからの光による熱と、前記磁気記録素子による磁気と、で前記記録媒体に対する記録動作を行うことを特徴とする請求項14記載の記録ヘッド。
- 記録媒体に対する情報記録を行う記録ヘッドであって、記録媒体上で浮上しながら相対的に移動するスライダと、そのスライダに設けられた光導波路と、前記光導波路の光出射位置又はその近傍に、前記記録媒体に面して設けられた近接場光発生用のプラズモンプローブと、磁気による情報の書き込みを行う磁気記録素子と、を有することを特徴とする記録ヘッド。
- 前記光導波路はコアとクラッドとの屈折率差が20%以上であることを特徴とする請求項16記載の記録ヘッド。
- 前記プラズモンプローブからの光による熱と、前記磁気記録素子による磁気と、で前記記録媒体に対する記録動作を行うことを特徴とする請求項17記載の記録ヘッド。
