Abstract
Description
4モル%のスカンジアで安定化されたジルコニアからなる4ScSZ電解質膜(厚さ150μm×直径30mm)の片面に、下記表1,2に記載した酸化ニッケル粒子、粗粒セリア粒子および微粒ジルコニア粒子からなる燃料極材料をペースト化してスクリーン印刷することにより燃料極を形成する。
[気孔率低下率]
4層構造膜セルの断面における燃料極の箇所を、走査型電子顕微鏡(日本電子社製、商品名「JSM−5410LV」)を用いて観察し、無作為に選択した120×90μmに相当する部分を9.6×7.2cmに800倍拡大したSEM写真を3箇所で撮影し、該SEM写真で黒く写る部分を気孔としてその面積を測定し、得られた面積を(9.6×7.2)で割り、100倍した数値の平均値を気孔率とした。
結果を表1,2に示す。なお、表1,2中の略号の意味は下記の通りである。
「NiO−D」:正同化学社製の酸化ニッケル粉末、
「NiO」:セイミ化学社製の酸化ニッケル粉末、
「4ScSZ」:第一稀元素化学社製の4モル%スカンジア安定化ジルコニア粉末、
「6ScSZ」:第一稀元素化学社製の6モル%スカンジア安定化ジルコニア粉末、
「TZ−3Y−E」:東ソー社製の3モル%イットリア安定化ジルコニア粉末、
「TZ−4YS」:東ソー社製の4モル%イットリア安定化ジルコニア粉末、
「TZ−8YS」:東ソー社製の8モル%イットリア安定化ジルコニア粉末、
「SDC−30粗粒品」:第一稀元素化学社製の30原子%サマリウムドープセリア粗粒子、
「SDC−20粗粒品」:第一稀元素化学社製の20原子%サマリウムドープセリア粗粒子、
「SDC−20 0.3μm」:セイミケミカル社の20原子%サマリウムドープセリアの0.3μm粒子
「GDC−20仮焼品」:第一稀元素化学社製の20原子%ガドリウムドープセリア粒子の仮焼品、
「YDC−20仮焼品」:第一稀元素化学社製の20原子%イットリウムドープセリア粉末の仮焼品。
Claims (5)
- ニッケル−ジルコニア−セリア系固体酸化物形燃料電池用燃料極材料であって、粗粒セリア粒子群と微粒ジルコニア粒子群と酸化ニッケル粒子群の混合物からなり、上記粗粒セリア粒子群は、イットリウム、サマリウム、ガドリウムから選択される元素の少なくとも1種でドープされたセリアの粒子群であり、前記微粒ジルコニア粒子群は、イットリアおよび/またはスカンジアで安定化されたジルコニアの粒子群であり、且つ、上記各粒子群の平均粒径が、粗粒セリア粒子群>酸化ニッケル粒子群>微粒ジルコニア粒子群、の関係を満たすことを特徴とする固体酸化物形燃料電池用燃料極材料。
- セリア粒子群の平均粒径が2〜50μm、酸化ニッケル粒子群の平均粒径が0.5〜5μm、ジルコニア粒子群の平均粒径が0.1〜1μmである請求項1に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池用燃料極材料。
- 前記各粒子群の含有比率が、セリア粒子群:20〜50質量%、酸化ニッケル粒子群:40〜70質量%、ジルコニア粒子群:5〜25質量%(但し、セリア粒子群とジルコニア粒子群との合計含有率は30〜60質量%)である請求項1または2に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池用燃料極材料。
- 固体酸化物形燃料電池における固体電解質の片面側に形成された燃料極であって、該燃料極が前記請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の燃料極材料で形成されたものである固体酸化物形燃料電池用燃料極。
- 固体電解質の片面側に燃料極が形成され、他方面側に空気極が形成された固体酸化物形燃料電池セルであって、前記燃料極が上記請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の燃料極材料で形成されたものである固体酸化物形燃料電池セル。
