Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 この発明は、自動車の後部ウインド等に装着す
る車両用ワイパに関する。
最近の自動車は、後部ウインドが蝶番によつて
開閉できるようにしたものがある。この場合、後
部ウインドは、金属枠を設けずガラスだけのもの
がある。又、後方の雨天時の視界を確保容易にす
る。後部ウインドがガラスだけの場合、弱いガラ
スに重いワイパモータを装着することになり、強
度的に問題がある。又、ウインドガラスにワイパ
モータを装着するには、多くの取着孔が必要にな
り、体裁も悪い。
この発明は、かかる問題を解決するもので、以
下図面に示す本発明の実施例について説明する。
ウインドガラス１は、蝶番２によつて車体３に
取着され、上方に開くことができる。ウインドガ
ラス１の下部に設けた孔４に、軸受け５をシール
ラバー６、ワツシヤ７、ナツト８によつて取着す
る。軸受け５にはワイパ軸９を挿通軸支するとと
もに、その軸受５に形成された凹所５ａ内に上記
ワイパ軸９を車両の室内側に附勢するバネ１０を
内蔵する。そして、上記凹所５ａを蓋体５ｂによ
つて密閉し、その凹所５ａ内に潤滑用グリースを
封入する。
また、上記ワイパ軸５の室外側にはセツトクリ
ツプ１１を設けたワイパ軸５の抜止めを行なう。
ワイパ軸９の外端には、腕片１２を介してワイパ
ブレード１３を取着する。又、ワイパブレード１
３の定位置を保つストツパ片１４が、ウインドガ
ラス１に固着してある。ワイパ軸９の内端には、
突部を有する係合爪１５を形成する。ワイパモー
タ１６は、ブラケツト１７によつて車体３に固定
し、駆動軸１８の先端に溝１９を設けて、ワイパ
軸９の係合爪１５を係合させる。
作用について説明する。
ワイパモータ１６の駆動軸１８は、係合爪１５
を介してワイパ軸９を回動し、ワイパブレード１
３を作動させる。ウインドガラス１を開いたと
き、係合爪１５が駆動軸１８から離れるが、ワイ
パブレード１３は、ストツパ片１４によつて略定
位置に保たれ、垂れ下りを防ぐ。ウインドガラス
１を閉じたとき、駆動軸１８の溝１９に係合爪１
５が合わないと、第２図ｂに示すように、ワイパ
軸９が、その分だけバネ１０に抗して突出する。
そこでワイパモータ１６を駆動して、溝１９に係
合爪１５が合うと（第２図ａ）、バネ１０の弾力
でワイパ軸９が落込み、駆動軸１８とワイパ軸９
の連結ができる。
以上説明したように、この発明はウインドガラ
スに軸受けを取付け、該軸受けにワイパ軸を回動
かつ摺動自在に装着し、上記軸受けに形成された
凹所内に、上記ワイパ軸を室内側に附勢するバネ
を内蔵せしめ、上記バネを内蔵した凹所を密閉す
るとともにその凹所内に潤滑グリースを封入し、
ワイパ軸の内端に設けた係合爪を車体側に固定し
たワイパモータの駆動軸先端に係合させるように
したので、ワイパ軸はウインドガラスに、ワイパ
モータは車体に設けることができて、ウインドガ
ラスの負担が少くできる。又、ウインドガラスと
共に、ワイパ軸が、ワイパモータの駆動軸から抜
けるので、ウインドガラス開閉も自由にできる。
そして、ウインドガラスを閉じたとき、係合爪が
駆動軸に合わなくても、ワイパ軸がバネに抗して
浮き上るので、ウインドガラスを閉じるのに支障
がない。ワイパモータを駆動すると、係合爪が合
つたところで、バネによつてワイパ軸が落込んで
駆動軸と係合できるので、ワイパの駆動にも支障
がない。更に、ワイパモータは、車体側に埋込む
ようにもできるので体裁もよい。しかも、バネを
内蔵する凹所内に潤滑用グリースを封入してある
ので、バネ部やワイパ軸の摺動部にゴミが付着し
たり、錆が発生することがなく、ワイパの円滑な
動きが長時間維持される。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １ ウインドガラスに軸受けを取付け、該軸受け
    にワイパ軸を回動かつ摺動自在に装着し、上記軸
    受けに形成された凹所内に、上記ワイパ軸を室内
    側に附勢するバネを内蔵せしめ、上記バネを内蔵
    した凹所内を密閉するとともにその凹所内に潤滑
    グリースを封入し、ワイパ軸の内端に設けた係合
    爪を車体側に固定したワイパモータの駆動軸先端
    に係合させるようにしたことを特徴とする車両用
    ワイパ。
