Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.a)末端および先端を有し、カテーテル軸の先端から末端側に離れた位置で 広がる内膨張ルーメンを有する伸長カテーテル軸と、 b)前記内膨張ルーメンに流体連通する内部を有し、かつ、先端から末端側に 離れた位置周辺に伸長カテーテル軸の先端部を配置されている膨張バルーンと、 c)膨張バルーンの所望の膨張した直径よりも小さい横断面積の内ルーメンを 有し、膨張部材の内部への膨張流体の導入により、所望の直径に拡大する鞘によ って膨張バルーンの部分だけが被覆されないように膨張バルーンの少なくとも末 端部周辺に配置され、バルーンの末端部を形成するためにバルーンの膨張によっ て広がる拡大先端ティプを有する長さ方向に移動可能な鞘と、 からなることを特徴とするバルーン拡張カテーテル装置。 2.カテーテルの先端に設けられたガイドワイヤ先端部と、カテーテル軸の末端 から先端側に、かつ、カテーテル軸の先端から末端側に離れて配置されたガイド ワイヤ末端部と、末端部および先端部の間で広がるガイドワイヤ収納ルーメンと を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバルーン拡張カテーテル装置。 3.ガイドワイヤ末端部が、カテーテル軸の先端から約5ないし50cm離れて いることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のバルーン拡張カテーテル装置。 4.少なくとも部分的にガイドワイヤを収納する内ルーメンを形成する第1管部 材を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のバルーン拡張カテーテル装置。 5.前記第1管部材の近傍に配置され、かつ、第1および第2管部材の間に少な くとも部分的に膨張ルーメンを形成する第2管部材を有することを特徴とする請 求項4に記載のバルーン拡張カテーテル装置。 6.鞘の先端内の内ルーメンが、膨張バルーンの収納を容易にするため、末端部 の内ルーメンよりも大きな内部の横断面積を提供することを特徴とする請求項1 に記載のバルーン拡張カテーテル装置。 7.a)伸長カテーテル軸が末端および先端を有し、カテーテル軸の先端内の孔 ,前記カテーテル軸の先端から末端側に離れた位置に内膨張ルーメンが広がり、 そして、カテーテル軸の先端における孔にガイドワイヤ収納内ルーメンが広がり 、 b)独立して膨張可能な複数の内部空間を有し、かつ、先端から末端側に離れ て配置された位置の周囲に伸長カテーテル軸の先端に配置されている膨張バルー ンと、 c)独立して膨張できる複数の空間の最先端内に配置される位置で軸内に広が る第3内ルーメンと、 d)第3内ルーメンを介して通過する独立して膨張できる内部空間および内膨 張ルーメンで流体連通する膨張液体のための複数の通路と、 e)独立して膨張できる空間の内部に膨張ルーメンから通過する膨張流体を妨 げるために複数の膨張通路を塞ぐように複数の膨張通路の最先端に配置され、か つ、第3ルーメン内に長さ方向に移動可能に配置された栓と、 からなることを特徴とするバルーン拡張カテーテル装置。 8.a)末端および先端を伸長カテーテル軸が有し、カテーテル軸の先端から末 端側に離れた位置に内膨張ルーメンが広がり、カテーテル軸の先端における孔に ガイドワイヤ収納内ルーメンが広がり、 b)先端から末端側に離れた位置の周囲に伸長カテーテル軸の先端部を配置し 、内膨張ルーメンに流体連通する内部を有し、異なる内部圧力で広がる長さ方向 に配置された複数の管状領域を有する膨張バルーンと、 からなることを特徴とするバルーン拡張カテーテル装置。 9.伸長膨張バルーンが少なくとも約2cmの長さであることを特徴とする請求 項8に記載のバルーン拡張カテーテル装置。 10.膨張バルーンが約4ないし20cmの長さであることを特徴とする請求項 8に記載のバルーン拡張カテーテル装置。 11.隣り合うバルーン領域の末端側の膨張を制限するように形成されるバルー ンの周囲に、半径方向に広がる少なくとも一つののリブを有していることを特徴 とする請求項8に記載のバルーン拡張カテーテル装置。 12.膨張バルーンが壁厚さの異なる複数の長さを有することを特徴とする請求 項8に記載のバルーン拡張カテーテル装置。 13.複数の長さにおいて壁厚さが末端方向に増大することを特徴とする請求項 11に記載のバルーン拡張カテーテル装置。 14.長さ方向に配置された複数の管領域が、最先端から最末端の管領域に連続 する高圧力で広がることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のバルーン拡張カテーテル 装置。 15.a)伸長カテーテル軸が末端および先端を有し、カテーテル軸の先端内の 孔,前記カテーテル軸の先端から末端側に離れた位置に内膨張ルーメンが広がり 、そして、カテーテル軸の先端における孔にガイドワイヤ収納内ルーメンが広が り、独立して膨張可能な複数の内部空間を有し、かつ、先端から末端側に離れて 配置された位置の周囲に伸長カテーテル軸の先端に配置されている膨張バルーン と、 独立して膨張できる複数の空間の最先端内に配置される位置で軸内に広がる第 3内ルーメンと、 第3内ルーメンを介して通過する独立して膨張できる内部空間および内膨張ル ーメンで流体連通する膨張液体のための複数の通路と、 独立して膨張できる空間の内部に膨張ルーメンから通過する膨張流体を妨げる ために複数の膨張通路を塞ぐように複数の膨張通路の最先端に配置され、かつ、 第3ルーメン内に長さ方向に移動可能に配置された栓と、 からなるバルーン拡張カテーテル装置を提供し、 b)膨張バルーンが拡大される狭窄領域内に配置されるまで、患者の血管を介 してバルーン拡張カテーテルを挿入し、 c)膨張ルーメンから独立して膨張する空間の内部を通過する膨張流体を妨げ るために少なくとも一つの膨張孔を塞ぐように第3内ルーメン内に配置した栓子 の位置を調整し、 d)狭窄を広げるために少なくとも一つの膨張空間を膨張させる ことを特徴とする血管形成処置を行う方法。 16.a)末端および先端を伸長カテーテル軸が有し、カテーテル軸の先端から 末端側に離れた位置に内膨張ルーメンが広がり、カテーテル軸の先端における孔 にガイドワイヤ収納内ルーメンが広がり、 先端から末端側に離れた位置の周囲に伸長カテーテル軸の先端部を配置し、内 膨張ルーメンに流体連通する内部を有し、異なる内部圧力で広がる長さ方向に配 置された複数の管状領域を有する膨張バルーンと、 からなるバルーン拡張カテーテル装置を提供し、 b)膨張バルーンが拡大される狭窄領域内に配置されるまで、患者の血管を介 してバルーン拡張カテーテルを挿入し、 c)狭窄を広げるために所望の数の管状領域を膨張させるように十分な圧力で 管状領域の内部に膨張流体を注入する ことを特徴とする血管形成処置を行う方法。
