Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.近位末端と、遠位末端と、近位末端から遠位末端に延びる内腔とを有する内 部管状部材;該内部管状部材を覆って配置され且つ近位及び遠位末端とを有し、 ここで該遠位末端は内部管状部材の遠位末端から近位方向に0cm〜10cmの 範囲の距離で終了しているところの編み組み強化層;及び該編み組み強化層を覆 って形成され且つ内部管状部材の遠位末端から遠位方向に0cm〜10cmの範 囲の距離で延びる柔軟な外層;を含み、近位及び遠位末端を有する内部カテーテ ル; 該内部カテーテルを囲い且つ近位末端及び遠位末端を有する外部シース; 該外部シースの近位末端における注入口; 内部カテーテルの遠位末端と外部シースの遠位末端に取付けられ且つ全体的にそ れらに外接する気球;及び外部シースと内部カテーテルとの間で規定され且つ注 入口と気球とを流体通過可能に結合しそれによって気球が注入口を通じて膨脹さ れ得るインフレーション通路; を含む気球カテーテル。 2.編み組み強化層が内部管状部材の遠位末端から1cm〜10cmで終了し、 且つ柔軟な外層が内部管状部材の遠位末端から1cm〜10cmで終了し、ここ で該柔軟な外層が内部管状部材の内腔に隣接する遠位内腔を有するとこ ろの請求項1の気球カテーテル。 3.編み組み強化層が内部管状部材の遠位末端で終了し、且つ柔軟な外層が編み 組み層及び内部管状部材の遠位方向に1cm〜10cmの範囲の距離で延び、こ こで該柔軟な外層が内部管状部材の内腔に隣接する遠位内腔を有するところの請 求項1の気球カテーテル。 4.柔軟な外層が内部管状部材の遠位末端で終了し、且つ編み組み強化層が柔軟 な外層及び内部管状部材の遠位末端から1cm〜10cmで終了するところの請 求項1の気球カテーテル。 5.柔軟な外層及び編み組み強化層が内部管状部材から1cm内で終了し、且つ ここで該編み組み強化層の編み組み特性がカテーテル本体の遠位1〜60cm内 の可撓性をカテーテル本体の近位部分に比較して増すように選択されるところの 請求項1の気球カテーテル。 6.内部管状部材がフロロカーボン、ポリアミド、ポリオレフィン、及びポリイ ミドからなる群から選ばれる物質から成る請求項1の気球カテーテル。 7.内部管状部材がポリテトラフロロエチレンである請求項6の気球カテーテル 。 8.編み組み強化層が内部管状部材を覆って形成されるステンレススチール編み 組みの少なくとも1つを含む請求項1の気球カテーテル。 9.ステンレススチール編み組みの遠位末端がなまされており、突起を除去する ように横方向に切断されている請求項8の気球カテーテル。 10.柔軟な外層が30Aから72Dの範囲の硬度を有する物質から成る請求項 1の気球カテーテル。 11.物質がポリエーテルブロックコポリマー、ポリウレタン、シリコーンゴム 、ナイロン、ポリエチレン、及びフッ素化炭化水素ポリマーからなる群から選ば れる請求項10の気球カテーテル。 12.柔軟な外層が編み組み強化層に含浸されている請求項1の気球カテーテル 。 13.内部管状部材、編み組み強化層、及び柔軟な外層の近位末端に、結合フィ ッティングをさらに含む請求項1の気球カテーテル。 14.インフレーション通路が環状通路である請求項1の気球カテーテル。 15.気球がエラストマー気球である請求項1の気球カテーテル。 16.近位末端と、遠位末端と、近位末端から遠位末端に延びる内腔とを有する 内部管状部材を用意し;該内部管状部材を近位末端から、遠位末端より近位方向 に0cm〜10cmの範囲の距離に位置する場所まで覆って編み組みを形成し; 及び、柔軟な外層を内部管状部材を覆って形成し且つその遠位末端を越えて0c m〜10cmの範囲の距離で遠位に延ばす工程を含む方法で内部カテーテルを製 造し;近位及び遠位末端と、その近位末端に注入口とを有する外部シースを選択 し; 内部カテーテルを外部シースの中に位置決めして置き; 環状気球を、内部カテーテルと外部シースの遠位末端に、該環状気球が全体的に 該遠位末端に外接するようにして設置し;及び インフレーション通路を、注入口から、内部カテーテルと外部シースとの間に、 環状気球まで付与する工程を含む気球カテーテルの製造法。 17.内部管状部材が該内部管状部材の遠位末端を越えて延びるところの心軸を 覆って配置される請求項16の方法。 18.ワン−オーバー−ワンステンレススチール編み組みが内部管状部材を覆っ て形成される請求項16の方法。 19.編み組みの遠位末端をなまし、且つ突起を除去するように該遠位末端を横 方向に切断する工程をさらに含む請求項16の方法。 20.柔軟層が、熱可塑性樹脂管を編み組み、内部管状部材、及び心軸を覆って 配置し、そして該熱可塑性樹脂を溶融し且つ該熱可塑性樹脂を編み組みに含浸さ せるために熱と圧力とを施与することによって形成される請求項16の方法。 21.内部管状部材がフロロカーボン、ポリアミド、ポリオレフィン、及びポリ イミドからなる群から選ばれる物質から構成される請求項16の方法。 22.内部管状部材がポリテトラフロロエチレンである請求項21の方法。 23.柔軟な外層が30Aから72Dの範囲の硬度を有する物質から構成される 請求項16の方法。 24.物質がポリエーテルブロックコポリマー、ポリウレタン、シリコーンゴム 、ナイロン、ポリエチレン、及びフッ素化炭化水素ポリマーからなる群から選ば れる請求項23の方法。 25.内部管状部材、編み組み強化層、及び柔軟な外層の近位末端に、結合フィ ッティングを取り付ける工程をさらに含む請求項16の方法。
