Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 23〜54重量%の遊離ヒドロキシクエン酸、6〜20重量%のヒドロ キシクエン酸のラクトン、0.001〜8重量%のクエン酸および32〜70重 量%の水を含み、さらに前記遊離ヒドロキシクエン酸、ヒドロキシクエン酸のラ クトンおよびクエン酸が該水に溶解する全溶質の94〜99重量%を構成するこ とを特徴とするガーシニア外皮から調製されるヒドロキシクエン酸濃縮物。 2. 32〜48重量%の遊離ヒドロキシクエン酸、10〜18重量%のヒド ロキシクエン酸のラクトン、0.001〜6重量%のクエン酸および35〜55 重量%の水を含み、さらに前記遊離ヒドロキシクエン酸、ヒドロキシクエン酸の ラクトンおよびクエン酸が該水に溶解する全溶質の96〜99重量%を構成する 請求項1に記載の濃縮物。 3. 36〜45重量%の遊離ヒドロキシクエン酸、13〜16重量%のヒド ロキシクエン酸のラクトン、0.001〜3重量%のクエン酸および38〜50 重量%の水を含み、さらに前記遊離ヒドロキシクエン酸、ヒドロキシクエン酸の ラクトンおよびクエン酸が該水に溶解する全溶質の98〜99重量%を構成する 請求項2に記載の濃縮物。 4. (1)ガーシニア外皮の塩を含まない水性抽出物を得ること、 (2)ヒドロキシクエン酸を陰イオン交換カラムに吸着させるために前記抽出物 を陰イオン交換カラムに投入し、 (3)前記ヒドロキシクエン酸を第1溶液中に金属塩として解放するために1A 族金属水酸化物を用いて前記陰イオン交換カラムから前記ヒドロキシクエン酸を 溶離し、 (4)前記ヒドロキシクエン酸を第2溶液中に遊離酸として回収するた めに前記第1溶液を陽イオン交換カラムに投入する、 ここで、前記抽出物は100〜125%の交換能の前記陰イオン交換カラムに投 入し、また、前記第1溶液は50〜90%の交換能の前記陽イオン交換カラムに 投入することを特徴とするガーシニア外皮からヒドロキシクエン酸を濃縮する方 法。 5. 前記水性抽出物は105〜115%の交換能の前記陰イオン交換カラム に投入する請求項4に記載の方法。 6. 前記第1溶液は60〜75%の交換能の前記陽イオン交換カラムに投入 する請求項4に記載の方法。 7. 前記第1溶液は60〜75%の交換能の前記陽イオン交換カラムに投入 する請求項5に記載の方法。 8. 前記1A族金属水酸化物はNaOHまたはKOHである請求項4に記載 の方法。 9. 前記塩を含まない水性抽出物は最初に塩漬けのガーシニア外皮を抽出し 、その後水混和性有機溶媒を用いて塩を除去することにより調製される請求項4 に記載の方法。 10. 前記溶媒はアセトンまたはエチルアルコールである請求項9に記載の方 法。 11. 前記ステップ(4)の後にさらに、ヒドロキシクエン酸濃縮物を形成す るために前記第2の溶液の容量を減少させ、さらに前記濃縮物を食物生成物に加 える請求項4に記載の方法。 12. 前記食物生成物は飲み物である請求項11に記載の方法。 13. 前記食物生成物はスナック棒である請求項11に記載の方法。 14. 0.17〜23重量%の遊離ヒドロキシクエン酸、0.08〜7重量% のヒドロキシクエン酸のラクトンおよび少なくとも0.0002重量%のクエン 酸を含むことを特徴とする食物生成物。 15. 0.35〜12重量%の遊離ヒドロキシクエン酸、0.15〜4重量% のヒドロキシクエン酸のラクトンおよび少なくとも0.0002重量%のクエン 酸を含む請求項14に記載の食物生成物。 16. さらに0.04〜0.4重量%のビタミンCを含む請求項14に記載の 食物生成物。 17. さらに0.04〜0.4重量%のビタミンCを含む請求項15に記載の 食物生成物。 18. さらに0.04〜0.08重量%のビタミンCを含む請求項16に記載 の食物生成物。 19. さらに0.04〜0.08重量%のビタミンCを含む請求項17に記載 の食物生成物。 20. さらに0.8〜22重量%の繊維を含む請求項14に記載の食物生成物 。 21. さらに0.8〜22重量%の繊維を含む請求項15に記載の食物生成物 。 22. 前記食物生成物は飲み物である請求項15に記載の食物生成物。 23. 前記食物生成物は飲み物である請求項17に記載の食物生成物。 24. 前記食物生成物は飲み物である請求項21に記載の食物生成物。 25. 前記食物生成物はスナック棒である請求項15に記載の食物生成物。 26. 前記食物生成物はスナック棒である請求項17に記載の食物生成物。 27. 前記食物生成物はスナック棒である請求項21に記載の食物生成物。
