Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 生きた生物由来の物質からヒドロキシアルカン酸のポリマー(PHA)を 回収する方法であって、PHAを低級ケトン、ジアルキルエーテルまたは低級ア ルコールもしくはこれらのモノカルボン酸エステルである溶媒に溶解させ、溶液 を前記物質から分離し、この溶液からPHAを回収することによる方法。 2. 溶媒が低級ケトン、ジアルキルエーテルまたは低級アルコールであること を特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 3. 溶媒が1〜10個の炭素原子を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の 方法。 4. 溶媒が12個以下、好ましくは4〜10個の炭素原子を有するエステルで あることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 5. 生きた生物由来の物質が微生物または植物に由来することを特徴とする請 求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 6. 前記物質を油含有(bearing)植物物質から、油を抽出し、これを 破砕及び/または搗精することによって得ることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の 方法。 7. 油の抽出を少なくとも部分的には、PHAが実質的に溶解しない、水と非 混和性の溶媒に油を溶解させることにより行なうことを特徴とする請求項6に記 載の方法。 8. PHAがヒドロキシ酪酸のポリマーまたはコポリマーであることを特徴と する請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 9. PHAを100〜150℃の温度で溶解させ、溶液を20〜80℃、好ま しくは30〜50℃の温度に冷却することによって、または溶媒が水と混和性で ある場合は100℃以下、好ましくは20〜90℃の温度に冷却し、かつ水を添 加することによって回収することを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか1項に 記載の方法。 10. PHAを抽出し、かつその溶媒含量を低下させた後の残存植物物質を動 物の飼料とすることを特徴とする請求項1から9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
