Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. (a) 約0.2〜2.0m2/gの表面積を有する多孔質支持体に、3〜25重量 %の銀を供給するに足る量の酸の銀塩の炭化水素溶液を含浸させる工程;および (b) 工程(a)の銀含浸支持体を空気に比べてより少ない酸素を含有し た雰囲気中で加熱することによって、前記銀含浸支持体に対し活性化を施す工程 ; を含む、エチレンをエチレンオキシドに気相酸化するための担持銀触媒の製造法 。 2. 前記加熱が、150〜200℃の範囲の第1の温度で1時間未満加熱すること 、200℃より高温〜300℃の範囲の第2の温度で1時間未満加熱すること、300℃ より高温〜400℃の範囲の第3の温度で1時間未満加熱すること、そして最後に4 00℃より高温〜500℃の第4の温度で1時間未満加熱することである、請求の範 囲第1項に記載の製造法。 3. 前記第1の活性化を実質的に不活性な雰囲気中で行う、請求の範囲第1 項に記載の製造法。 4. 前記活性化を移動ベルト上で行う、請求の範囲第2項に記載の製造法。 5. 前記第1の温度における前記含浸支持体の保持時間が約1〜30分である 、請求の範囲第2項に記載の製造法。 6. 前記第2の温度における前記含浸支持体の保持時間が約1〜30分である 、請求の範囲第2項に記載の製造法。 7. 前記第3の温度における前記含浸支持体の保持時間が約1〜30分である 、請求の範囲第2項に記載の製造法。 8. 工程(b)の活性化された銀含浸支持体に、アルカリ金属化合物を含有 した実質的に無水のアルコール性溶液を含浸させて、触媒1kg当たり約1〜6× 10 3gew のアルカリ金属を有する最終触媒を得る工程をさらに含む、請求の範囲 第1項に記載の製造法。 9. 前記アルカリ金属がセシウムである、請求の範囲第8項に記載の製造法 。 10. 不活性ガスを含有する雰囲気中で熱を増大させるという一連の段階にて 工程(b)の前記活性化を行い、これにより前記加熱時に前記雰囲気中に存在す る酸素の量を調節することによって有機部分の制御不能な燃焼を防止する、請求 の範囲第1項に記載の製造法。 11. 前記のセシウム含浸銀触媒をアルコール溶液でさらに洗浄し、そして乾 燥する、請求の範囲第9項に記載の製造法。 12. アルコールによる洗浄を複数回行う、請求の範囲第11項に記載の製造法 。 13. 前記触媒を速やかに乾燥する、請求の範囲第11項に記載の製造法。 14. 前記雰囲気が実質的に窒素である、請求の範囲第2項に記載の製造法。 15. 前記雰囲気が実質的に二酸化炭素である、請求の範囲第2項に記載の製 造法。 16. 前記雰囲気が実質的にヘリウムである、請求の範囲第2項に記載の製造 法。 17. 前記多孔質支持体に含浸させるのに使用する前記炭化水素溶液の量が、 前記多孔質支持体の孔容積を満たすのに必要な量以下である、請求の範囲第1項 に記載の製造法。 18. (a) 約0.2〜2.0m2/g の表面積を有する多孔質支持体に、3〜20重 量%の銀を供給するに足る量のネオ酸の銀塩の炭化水素溶液を含浸させる工程; (b) 工程(a)の銀含浸支持体を、空気に比べてより少ない酸素を含有 した雰囲気中において、150〜200℃の範囲の第1の温度で1時間未満加熱するこ とによって、200℃より高温〜300℃の範囲の第2の温度で1時間未満加熱するこ とによって、300℃より高温〜400℃の範囲の第3の温度で1時間未満加熱するこ とによって、そして最後に400℃より高温〜500℃の第4の温度で加熱することに よって、前記銀含浸支持体に対し活性化を施す工程;および (d) エチレンと分子状酸素を、150〜400℃の温度および0.5〜35バール の圧力にて工程(c)の銀含浸支持体上に通す工程; を含む、エチレンオキシドの製造法。 19. 前記第1の活性化を、20容量%未満の酸素を含有する雰囲気中で行う、 請求の範囲第18項に記載の製造法。 20. 前記活性化を移動ベルト上で行う、請求の範囲第19項に記載の製造法。 21. 前記第1の温度における前記含浸支持体の保持時間が約2〜30分である 、請求の範囲第20項に記載の製造法。 22. 前記第2の温度における前記含浸支持体の保持時間が約2〜30分である 、請求の範囲第20項に記載の製造法。 23. 前記第3の温度における前記含浸支持体の保持時間が約2〜30分である 、請求の範囲第20項に記載の製造法。 24. 工程(b)の活性化された銀含浸支持体に、アルカリ金属を含有した溶 液を含浸させて、触媒1kg当たり約1〜6×10 3gew のアルカリ金属を有する最 終触媒を得る工程をさらに含む、請求の範囲第18項に記載の製造法。 25. 前記アルカリ金属がセシウムである、請求の範囲第24項に記載の製造法 。 26. 前記セシウムを、実質的に無水のアルコール溶液中に含有させる、請求 の範囲第25項に記載の製造法。 27. 前記のセシウム含浸銀触媒をアルコール溶液で洗浄し、そして乾燥する 、請求の範囲第26項に記載の製造法。 28. アルコールによる洗浄を複数回行う、請求の範囲第27項に記載の製造法 。 29. 前記雰囲気が実質的に窒素である、請求の範囲第19項に記載の製造法。 30. 前記雰囲気が実質的に二酸化炭素である、請求の範囲第19項に記載の製 造法。 31. 前記雰囲気が実質的にヘリウムである、請求の範囲第19項に記載の製造 法。 32. 前記多孔質支持体に含浸させるのに使用する前記炭化水素溶液の量が、 前記多孔質支持体の孔容積を満たすのに必要な量以下である、請求の範囲第18項 に記載の製造法。 33. (a) 約0.2〜2.0m2/gの表面積を有する多孔質支持体に、3〜20重量 %の銀を供給するに足る量のネオ酸の銀塩の炭化水素溶液を含浸させること;お よび (b) ガス雰囲気中において最高400℃までの温度で触媒を加熱すること ; によって製造される、エチレンのエチレンオキシドへの気相酸化用の担持銀触媒 を活性化する方法であって、このとき改良点が、前記加熱時に前記雰囲気中に存 在する酸素の量を調節することによって、銀塩のネオ酸部分の燃焼を抑制するこ とを含む、前記方法。 34. 加熱時に前記雰囲気中に存在する酸素が3容量%未満である、請求の範 囲第33項に記載の方法。 35. (a) 約0.2〜2.0m2/gの表面積を有する多孔質支持体に、3〜20重量 %の銀を供給するに足る量のネオ酸の銀塩の炭化水素溶液を含浸させること; (b) ガス雰囲気中において最高400℃までの温度で触媒を加熱して、前 記触媒を活性化させること;および (c) 工程(b)の活性化された銀含浸支持体にアルカリ金属を含有した 溶液を含浸させて、触媒1kg当たり約1〜6×10 3gew のアルカリ金属を有する 最終触媒を得ること; によって製造される、エチレンのエチレンオキシドへの気相酸化用の担持銀触媒 を活性化する方法であって、このとき改良点が、工程(c)の前記溶液が実質的 に無水であることを含む、前記方法。 36. 工程(c)の前記溶液中の水の量が1%未満である、請求の範囲第35項 に記載の方法。
