Abstract

(57)【要約】 【課題】 自動車のボデイの剛性をより高めるために、
ストラットバーとクロスさせた状態でボデイに取付けて
用いる新規の車のボデイ用補強バー装置を提供する。 【解決手段】 長さがボデイの横幅方向の内のりと略同
じ寸法のバー本体と、バー本体の両端に設けたボデイへ
の固定部と、バー本体の途中個所に設けた切り離し部
と、当該切り離し部の両側に両端を連結した、バー本体
の長さ調節用ターンバックル部とから成ることを特徴と
するものである。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、自動車のボデイの
剛性をより高めるために、ストラットバーとクロスさせ
た状態（交叉させた状態）でボデイに取付けて用いる車
のボデイ用補強バー装置に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】抑々、車が効率よく速く走るためにはボ
デイの剛性がしっかりしていることが重要である。
【０００３】ボデイの剛性がしっかりしていないと、路
面からの入力や駆動輪から伝わる力およびコーナリング
時に発生する遠心力などによってボデイがねじれる。こ
のために正確なサスペンションストロークが望めない。
【０００４】そこで、確かに従来はサスペンション取付
部の剛性をフロント／リヤのストラットバーにより向上
させている。
【０００５】
【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかし乍ら、上記のス
トラットバーでは必ずしも充分でない場合が往々に発生
していたのである。
【０００６】このことを研究中に知った本発明者は、更
に研究を続けて本発明に至ったものである。
【０００７】すなわち、本発明の目的は、自動車のボデ
イの剛性をより高めるために、ストラットバーとクロス
させた状態でボデイに取付けて用いる新規の車のボデイ
用補強バー装置を提供することいある。
【０００８】尚、自動車のボデイの剛性をより高めるた
めに、ストラットバーとクロスさせた状態でボデイに取
付けて用いる形式の車のボデイ用補強バー装置は、現在
見当たらない。
【０００９】
【課題を解決するための手段】上記目的を達成するため
に本発明に係る車のボデイ用補強バー装置は、長さがボ
デイの横幅方向の内のりと略同じ寸法のバー本体と、バ
ー本体の両端に設けたボデイへの固定部と、バー本体の
途中個所に設けた切り離し部と、当該切り離し部の両側
に両端を連結した、バー本体の長さ調節用ターンバック
ル部とから成るものである。

【実施例】図に示す実施例は、金属パイプを以て凸状に
折れ曲った形状の長さがボデイ１の横幅方向の内のりと
略同じ寸法のバー本体２を構成し、このバー本体２の左
・右両端に、ボデイ１の左右側壁３、４における下部の
内面に圧接させた状態でボデイ１にネジ５により固定す
るための左・右固定部６、７を設け、また同バー本体２
の中高個所８を途中で切り離して当該バー本体２を左右
に分割し、これ等左・右分割体９、１０の内端にターン
バックル用左右ナット１１、１２を回転不能に固定する
と共にこれとは別個に、六角頭部１３の両側に左・右ネ
ジ棒部１４、１５を１体にもつターンバックル用ボルト
１６を構成し、このターンバックル用ボルト１６の左・
右ネジ棒部１４、１５を上記ターンバックル用ナット１
１、１２に螺合して左・右分割体９、１０を連結状態と
したものであって、このターンバックル用ボルト１６の
六角頭部１３を正回転もしくは逆回転させることによっ
て左・右固定部６、７間の寸法を長くしたり短くしたり
できるようにしたものである。
【００１１】尚、図中１７は上下一対から成るパイプ支
持具であって、ネジ１８によりボデイ１に止着すること
によってバー本体２を動かないように保持するためのも
のである。
【００１２】本発明は、ターンバックル部を左・右個所
に設けること、中高個所８を別の形にしたり、無い状態
としたりすること、等ができる。
【００１３】使用する場合には、ボデイ１における後部
座席１９の前の足置き場所がボデイ１の中間位置でもあ
るので、通常は図に示すように、ここに邪魔にならない
ように、または足の踏張として使用できるようにして取
付ける。

【発明の効果】本発明に係る車のボデイ用補強バー装置
は、上記のような構成であるので、これを上記作用にお
いて述べたように使用したとき、すなわちストラットバ
ー（図示せず）とクロスさせた（直交させた）状態でボ
デイに取付けて使用したときは、路面からの入力や駆動
輪から伝わる力およびコーナリング時に発生する遠心力
などによってボデイがねじれてしまうことをより充分に
抑止してサスペンションストロークをより正確になし、
よってボデイの剛性をより高く且つしっかりさせるもの
であって、車を効率よく速く走れるようにするのに役立
ち、当該走りを可能とするものであり、所期の目的を完
全に達成する著効を奏するものである。

  1. 【請求項１】 長さがボデイの横幅方向の内のりと略同
    じ寸法のバー本体と、バー本体の両端に設けたボデイへ
    の固定部と、バー本体の途中個所に設けた切り離し部
    と、当該切り離し部の両側に両端を連結した、バー本体
    の長さ調節用ターンバックル部とから成ることを特徴と
    する車のボデイ用補強バー装置。
