Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair tonic cosmetic excellent in hair growing effect, preventing effect on loss of hair, a feeling in use and safety by using both an extract of tea leaves prepared by a specific treatment and an extract of Gentiana lutea Linne. SOLUTION: An extract of tea leaves obtained by preserving raw tea leaves under an anaerobic condition and heat-treating them with steam and/or in a dry state is combined with an extract of Gentiana lutea Linne. The amount of tea leaves mixed is about 0.0001-5.0wt.% calculated as an evaporation residue of the extract of tea leaves based on the total of the hair tonic cosmetic. As the extract of Gentiana lutea Linne, an extracted solution prepared by extracting a root and rhizome of Gentiana lutea Linne with water, ethanol, propylene glycol, 1,3-butylene glycol or its mixed solution and the evaporation residue prepared by concentrating the extracted solution to dryness. The amount of the extract of Gentiana lutea Linne mixed is about 0.0001-5.0wt.% calculated as the evaporation residue of the extract of Gentiana lutea Linne. The cosmetic is excellent in hair tonic effect and hair growing effect free from tackiness and a squeaky feeling by synergistic effects of each component.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, hair nourishing cosmetics are known which contain blood circulation promoting substances such as capsicum tincture and nicotinic acid derivatives, and amino acids and vitamins which are nutritional components of hair. Further, many medical hair restorers and cosmetics containing a component having an effect of preventing sebaceous gland hypertrophy and a component having an androgenic inhibitory effect have been proposed.

However, the conventionally used blood circulation promoting substances have drawbacks such as strong skin irritation, a limited amount of the mixture, and a short duration of blood circulation promotion. In addition, there is also a problem that the hair nutrient has low permeability to the skin at a low concentration, and its effect is not sufficiently exhibited by itself.

By the way, androgenetic alopecia is said to be caused by an excessive action of androgen, but phenomena such as poor blood circulation, decreased activity of hair mother cells, hypertrophy of sebaceous glands, and fibrosis of scalp are caused. It is presumed that they are complicatedly intertwined.

However, in order to suppress the decrease in the activity of hair mother cells and the enlargement of the sebaceous glands, which are said to be caused by the excessive action of male hormones, even when an androgen inhibitor is simply used as a hair-growing agent, the hair-growing action is exhibited. The current situation is that it does not reach this level. Moreover, even if a hair matrix activating agent or a blood circulation promoting agent is used alone, good results cannot be obtained.

As means for solving the above-mentioned problems, a large number of hair nourishing and hair-growth agents have been proposed, including JP-A-5-58850, JP-A-5-1399336 and JP-A-5-170625. However, even if a substance that promotes peripheral blood flow and activates hair matrix cells is used alone, no remarkable hair-growth effect was found.

Further, in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 63-280009, an extract of tea leaves obtained by subjecting fresh tea leaves to anaerobic conditions and then steam heat treatment and / or dry heat treatment is referred to as a solid content thereof. A hair nourishing cosmetic composition containing 0.1% by weight or more has been proposed, but if the amount is less than 0.1% by weight, the hair-growth and hair-nourishing effects are not sufficiently exhibited, and 0.1% by weight or more is added. However, there has been a demand for further improvement in hair growth and hair-growth effects. Further, the hair nourishing cosmetics containing the extract of tea leaves also have a usability problem in that the tannin contained in the extract of tea leaves causes a tingling sensation on the hair.

Although a hair-growth cosmetic composition containing 46% by weight and 1 to 5% by weight of the placenta extract has been proposed, since the present invention contains a high concentration of each extract in order to obtain a hair-growth effect,
There was a peculiar offensive odor, there was stickiness, the feeling of use was poor, and there was a case of skin irritation, which was a problem in practical use.

In view of such circumstances, the inventors of the present invention have conducted extensive studies on substances having an action of promoting peripheral blood flow in the scalp and activating hair mother cells, and as a result, have found that fresh tea leaves are anaerobically treated. A hair nourishing cosmetic containing a tea leaf extract obtained by steam heat treatment and / or dry heat treatment and a gentian extract after storage in the present invention is an object of the present invention due to the synergistic effect of each component. Excellent hair nourishing and hair-growth effect, with no sticky feeling and no squeaky feeling and excellent usability, and
It was found that there was no skin irritation, and the present invention was completed.

The tea leaf extract used in the present invention is an extract obtained by easily extracting by the method described in JP-A-63-280009, or obtained by concentrating and drying the extract. It is an evaporation residue. Specifically, plucked tea [Thea sinensis L. (Theaca
e)] The leaves are placed in a hermetically sealed container, and the air in the container is completely replaced with an inert gas such as carbon dioxide gas or nitrogen gas, and then at room temperature for 3 hours or more (preferably 5 hours or more, more preferably (8 hours or more) Leave (store). Next, the tea leaves are taken out of the container and subjected to steam heat treatment for 10 to 30 minutes, heat treatment at 80 ° C. to 100 ° C., or both in the same manner as in the usual tea manufacturing process. The types of green tea leaves to be subjected to the above treatment are Yabukita seeds,
Any kind of cultivar such as Beni Fuji can be applied, and the sampling time is not particularly limited. The extraction method of tea leaves is a common method, for example, in a extractor equipped with a reflux device, tea leaves in a solvent such as water, a water-miscible organic liquid, a mixture of a water-miscible organic liquid and water. Dip in a solvent at a boiling point of 30-
Extract for 60 minutes. This extract may be concentrated and dried under a reduced pressure, or may be purified by activated clay, a chromatography method or the like, if necessary.

(1) Test Method for Mouse Hair Growth Promoting Effect C3H mice (male, 8 weeks old, average weight 35 g) were shaved at the center of the back with electric clippers, and then completely shaved by a shaver. From the next day, 0.2 ml per animal of each sample of Example and Comparative Example was applied once daily to the skin of the test site. For each sample, 10 animals were used per group. In addition, the base alone (control product) was applied as a control group. On the 14th day after the start of the experiment, the animals were sacrificed and photographs of the skin of the test area were taken. Next, import the photo into the image analysis device,
First, the area (A) where the hair was shaved and the hair-growth area (B) were obtained, and the hair-growth rate (%) = [(B) / (A)] × 100 was calculated for each animal. Finally, a value obtained by dividing the average value of each group of Examples or Comparative Examples by the average value of the control group was used for the determination as the hair growth promoting effect.

(2) Human hair growth promoting effect test method Male subject 1 in the thirties and forties with a decline in hair growth 1
The hair at the top of the head was shaved into a circular shape having a diameter of about 7 mm. One and three days after shaving, the method of Hayashi et al. (British Journal of Dermatology, 12
Volume 5, p. 123, 1991), the hair growth rate was determined for the hair (about 30-40 hairs) at the target site, and the average value was calculated (A). Next, focusing on the test site for each subject, samples of the examples, comparative examples and control products were twice daily in the morning and evening,
About 3 ml was applied and massaged well. The hair growth rate of the same site is measured in the same manner on the 3rd month after the start of the test.
The average value (B) was calculated. The effect was determined by comparing the ratio (B) / (A) before and after use of each hair nourishing cosmetic.
