Abstract
Description
Claims (12)
- 1.繊維表面と、酸又は塩基と反応して塩を直接的又は間接的に形成しうるビニ ルモノマーとの間でグラフト重合反応により、自身に結合した基を有し、表面が 架橋したポリオレワイン繊維でできた布帛を備えてなる高分子シートであって、 当該シートのイオン交換能力(IECmeq.g−1)及び繊堆の架橋した素材 のゲル分散率(G%)は、下記式を満足することを特徴とする高分子シート。 IEC≧0.002G+0.05
- 2.前記繊維表面の素材は、ポリプロピレンである請求項1に記載されたシート
- 3.前記繊維の素材は、いくらかの繊維の少なくとも太さを通じてほぼ均質であ る請求項1又は2に記載されたシート。
- 4.前記ビニルモノマーは、不飽和カルボン酸又はそのエステルを含む請求項1 〜3のいずれかに記載されたシート。
- 5.前記繊維の太さは、30μmよりも小さく、好ましくは10μmよりも小さ い請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載されたシート。
- 6.アノード、カソード、多量の電解液及び請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載され たシートにより構成された電極隔離板を備えた電解装置。
- 7.前記カソードは、水酸化ニッケル(II)を含み、前記アノードは、カドミ ウム又は金属水素化物電極を含む請求項6に記載された装置。
- 8.前記装置は、鉛−酸電池である請求項6に記載された装置。
- 9.下記(a),(b)の工程を含む高分子シートの製造方法。 (a)表面がポリオレフィンでできた繊維から構成された不織布を、酸又は塩基 と反応して、直接的又は間接的に塩を形成することのできるビニルモノマーの溶 液に含浸させる工程。但し、当該溶液は、布帛を照射にさらす次の工程において 、ほとんど蒸発しないものである。 (b)布帛を酸素にさらすことでモノマー及び繊維の材質が共重合する原因とな るのが制限されている間に、含浸された布帛を紫外線照射にさらす工程。
- 10.前記溶液は水を含む請求項9に記載された方法。
- 11.前記ビニルモノマーは、不飽和カルボン酸又はそのエステルを含む請求項 9又は10に記載された方法。
- 12.前記含浸溶液は、前記モノマーの単一重合を抑止する成分を含有している 請求項9〜11のいずれかに記載された方法。
