Description
本出願は、2018年8月22日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/721,538号からの優先権を主張し、これは参照により組み込まれる。

本特許開示の発明原理は、一般に、変形可能な導電性材料(deformable conductive materials)に関し、より具体的には、変形可能な導電性材料を伴う電気的接続部および/または層(electrical connections and/or layers)を有する構造体、ならびにそのような構造体を形成する方法に関する。
Claims (20)
- 基板層と、
前記基板層上に配置され、チャネルのパターンを形成する第1の絶縁体層と、
前記チャネルの前記パターン内に配置された導電性ゲルと、
前記第1の絶縁体層上に配置され、前記チャネルの前記パターン内の前記導電性ゲルを封入する第2の絶縁体層であって、前記チャネルの前記パターンに電気的に接続され、前記導電性ゲルを含む複数の接点を形成する前記第2の絶縁体層と、
前記第2の絶縁体層に結合され、前記複数の接点に動作可能に結合された端子を有する電気部品と、を含むことを特徴とする回路アセンブリ。 - 前記複数の接点は、前記基板層を介して前記基板層の表面まで延在する請求項1に記載の回路アセンブリ。
- 前記電気部品は、前記第2の絶縁体層の表面に物理的に結合されている請求項1に記載の回路アセンブリ。
- 前記第2の絶縁体層は、前記電気部品を前記第2の絶縁体層の前記表面に物理的に結合する接着剤を含む請求項3に記載の回路アセンブリ。
- 前記複数の接点は、前記第2の絶縁体層に凹設されている請求項1に記載の回路アセンブリ。
- 前記基板層と、前記第1の絶縁体層および前記第2の絶縁体層とは、伸縮性材料で構成されている請求項1に記載の回路アセンブリ。
- 前記基板層と、前記第1の絶縁体層および前記第2の絶縁体層とにおいて、前記伸縮性材料は同一である請求項6に記載の回路アセンブリ。
- 前記基板層は、熱可塑性ポリウレタンで構成されている請求項7に記載の回路アセンブリ。
- 前記複数の接点は、前記第2の絶縁体層内のビアから形成されている請求項1に記載の回路アセンブリ。
- 前記複数の接点は、前記端子に電気的に接続する導電性金属をさらに含む請求項1に記載の回路アセンブリ。
- 前記導電性ゲルは、前記チャネルの前記パターン内に導電性トレースのパターンを形成する請求項10に記載の回路アセンブリ。
- 前記導電性トレースの前記パターンは、前記複数の接点と相互に接続されている請求項11に記載の回路アセンブリ。
- 前記基板層、または、前記第1の絶縁体層および前記第2の絶縁体層の1つに結合された剛性材料をさらに含み、
前記剛性材料は、結合される前記基板層、または、前記第1の絶縁体層および前記第2の絶縁体層の前記1つよりも高い剛性を有し、
前記電気部品は、前記剛性材料に取り付けられる請求項1に記載の回路アセンブリ。 - 前記剛性材料は、結合される前記基板層、または、前記第1の絶縁体層および前記第2の絶縁体層の前記1つよりも伸縮性の低い材料で構成される請求項13に記載の回路アセンブリ。
- チャネルのパターンを形成する第1の絶縁体層を基板層上に配置するステップと、
前記チャネルの前記パターン内に導電性ゲルを配置するステップと、
前記チャネルの前記パターン内の前記導電性ゲルを封入する第2の絶縁体層であって、前記チャネルの前記パターンに電気的に接続され、前記導電性ゲルを含む複数の接点を形成する前記第2の絶縁体層を前記第1の絶縁体層上に配置するステップと、
前記複数の接点に動作可能に結合された端子を有する電気部品を、前記第2の絶縁体層によって支持するステップと、を含む回路アセンブリを製造する方法。 - 前記複数の接点を、前記基板層を介して前記基板層の表面まで延在させるステップをさらに含む請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記電気部品を、前記第2の絶縁体層の表面に物理的に結合するステップをさらに含む請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の絶縁体層は、前記電気部品を前記第2の絶縁体層の前記表面に物理的に結合する接着剤を含む請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の接点を、前記第2の絶縁体層に凹設するステップをさらに含む請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記基板層と、前記第1の絶縁体層および前記第2の絶縁体層とは、伸縮性材料で構成されている請求項15に記載の方法。
