Description
第1実施形態の液体吐出装置1を搭載した画像形成装置の一例として、記録媒体に画像を印刷するインクジェットプリンタ10を説明する。図1は、インクジェットプリンタ10の概略構成を示す。インクジェットプリンタ10の筐体11の内部に、記録媒体の一例であるシートSを収納するカセット12、シートSの上流搬送路13、カセット12内から取り出したシートSを搬送する搬送ベルト14、搬送ベルト14上のシートSに向けてインクの液滴を吐出するインクジェットヘッド100~103、シートSの下流搬送路15、排出トレイ16、及び制御基板17を配置する。ユーザーインターフェイスである操作部18は、筐体11の上部側に配置する。
続いて、第2実施形態に従うインクジェットヘッド400について、図19~図20を参照しながら説明する。第2実施形態のインクジェットヘッド400は、完全に逆相の駆動波形を生成し、例えば同じ駆動タイミングでアクチュエーター8に与える構成としたことを除けば、第1実施形態と同じ構成である。よって、同じ構成については同じ符号を付すことによって、詳しい説明は省略する。

Claims (4)
- 液体を吐出するノズルと静電容量性のアクチュエーターを複数組備える液体吐出部と、
駆動タイミングの異なる複数の駆動波形を生成する駆動波形生成回路と、
前記アクチュエーターを駆動させるとき、同時期に駆動させる他のアクチュエーターの中で所定条件方向に近い位置にあるアクチュエーターに与える前記駆動波形とは駆動タイミングが異なる前記駆動波形を与えて駆動させるアクチュエーター駆動回路と、を備え、
前記アクチュエーター駆動回路は、前記所定条件方向の順に、同時期に駆動させるアクチュエーターに与える前記駆動波形を参照して、駆動タイミングが異なる前記駆動波形を選択していくことを特徴とする液体吐出装置。 - 前記アクチュエーター駆動回路は、前記所定条件方向に近い順に、同時期に駆動させるアクチュエーターであるか否かを判別し、最も近い、前記同時期に駆動させるアクチュエーターに与える駆動波形を前記参照する駆動波形とすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液体吐出装置。
- 前記アクチュエーターの各々は、一方の端子が共通電極と接続され、他方の端子が前記駆動波形を与える個別電極と接続されており、
前記所定条件方向は、前記共通電極上で電気的に近い方向であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の液体吐出装置。 - 前記所定条件方向は、前記ノズルの各々に連通する圧力室の離間距離が近い方向であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の液体吐出装置。
