Description
本実施形態の左右輪駆動装置(以下「駆動装置10」という)を図1に示す。この駆動装置10は、AYC(アクティブヨーコントロール)機能を持った車両用のディファレンシャル装置であり、左右輪の間に介装される。AYC機能とは、左右駆動輪における駆動力(駆動トルク)の分担割合を主体的に制御することでヨーモーメントの大きさを調節し、これを以て車両のヨー方向の姿勢を安定させる機能である。本実施形態の駆動装置10は、AYC機能だけでなく、駆動トルクを左右輪に伝達して車両を走行させる機能と、車両旋回時に発生する左右輪の回転数差を受動的に吸収する機能とを併せ持つ。
(1)上述した駆動装置10では、左右のモータ1,2が出力軸13上に配置されない(出力軸13からオフセットして配置される)ことから、左右のモータが出力軸上に配置される構成と比較して駆動装置10の車幅方向寸法を短くすることができる。さらに、カウンタ軸12には二つの中間歯車22,23が介装され、モータ軸11,カウンタ軸12,出力軸13がいずれも平行に配置された三軸構造であることから、モータ1,2の回転速度を減速する減速ギヤ列及びトルク差増幅機能を持つ歯車機構3を内蔵した小型な駆動装置10を実現できる。
上述した駆動装置10の構成は一例であって、上述したものに限られない。例えば、側面視で、カウンタ軸12がモータ軸11と出力軸13とを結ぶ直線Lよりも上方に配置されてもよいし、二つの中間歯車22,23の一部がモータ1,2と重ならないようにカウンタ軸12が配置されてもよい。また、出力歯車24がモータ1,2と重ならないように出力軸13が配置されてもよい。なお、二つの中間歯車22,23の配置が上記と逆(大径の第一中間歯車22がモータ1,2側に)配置されてもよい。また、モータ軸11,カウンタ軸12,出力軸13がいずれも中空状である場合を例示したが、各軸11~13の形状は特に限られない。

Claims (4)
- 車両の左右輪を駆動する第一モータ及び第二モータと、前記第一モータ及び前記第二モータのトルク差を増幅して前記左右輪の各々に伝達する歯車機構とを具備する左右輪駆動装置において、
前記第一モータ及び前記第二モータの各回転軸が同軸に配置されているとともに、
前記各回転軸と同軸上に位置し、モータ歯車が介装されたモータ軸と、
前記モータ軸と平行に配置され、前記モータ歯車と噛合する第一中間歯車及び前記第一中間歯車よりも小径の第二中間歯車が介装されたカウンタ軸と、
前記モータ軸と平行に配置され、前記第二中間歯車と噛合する出力歯車が介装された出力軸と、を備え、
前記出力軸は、その一端側に前記歯車機構が配置され、その他端側に前記左右輪の一方が配置されているとともに、側面視で、前記出力歯車の一部が前記第一モータ及び前記第二モータと重なるように配置され、
前記カウンタ軸は、側面視で、前記モータ軸と前記出力軸とを結ぶ仮想的な直線よりも車両下方に配置されているとともに、側面視で、前記第一中間歯車が前記第一モータ及び前記第二モータの外周面よりも径方向内側に位置するように配置されている
ことを特徴とする、左右輪駆動装置。 - 前記モータ軸は、前記第一モータ及び前記第二モータの間に位置し、
前記第二中間歯車は、前記第一中間歯車よりも前記モータ側に配置され、
前記歯車機構は、前記第一モータ側の前記出力歯車と前記第二モータ側の前記出力歯車との間に配置されている
ことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の左右輪駆動装置。 - 前記第一モータ及び前記第二モータの各モータハウジングに連結されて少なくとも前記モータ軸を収容するケーシングと、
前記ケーシングの上部に設けられ、前記各モータハウジングの内部及び前記ケーシングの内部にオイルを供給するための注入口と、を備え、
前記モータ軸は、前記第一モータ及び前記第二モータの間に配置され、
前記注入口は、二つの前記モータハウジングの間の空間に配置されている
ことを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の左右輪駆動装置。 - 前記出力軸は、互いに離隔する二つの軸受により軸支されるとともに、車幅方向外側の端部に設けられたジョイント部を有し、
前記ジョイント部は、前記第一モータ及び前記第二モータの端面よりも車幅方向外側に配置されている
ことを特徴とする、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の左右輪駆動装置。
