Description
第一軸を回転軸心として前記入力部材と前記回転電機とが軸方向に並んで配置され、
前記第一軸と平行な別の軸である第二軸を回転軸心として前記差動歯車装置が配置され、
前記インバータ装置の少なくとも一部が径方向に見て前記差動歯車装置と重複するように配置されるとともに、さらにその少なくとも一部が、軸方向に見て、前記第一軸と前記第二軸とを通る仮想直線である第一基準線に直交するとともに前記第一軸を通る仮想直線である第二基準線と、前記第一基準線に直交するとともに前記第二軸を通る仮想直線である第三基準線との間に配置されている車両用駆動装置が開示される。
本発明に係る、内燃機関に駆動連結される入力部材と、複数の車輪のそれぞれに駆動連結される複数の出力部材と、回転電機と、前記回転電機の側から伝達される駆動力を複数の前記出力部材に分配する差動歯車装置と、前記回転電機に接続されるインバータ装置とを備えた車両用駆動装置の特徴構成は、第一軸を回転軸心として前記入力部材と前記回転電機とが軸方向に並んで配置され、前記第一軸と平行な別の軸である第二軸を回転軸心として前記差動歯車装置が配置され、前記インバータ装置は、直流交流変換用のスイッチング素子を含むパワー部と、平滑用のコンデンサを含むコンデンサ部と、を有し、前記インバータ装置の少なくとも一部が径方向に見て前記差動歯車装置と重複するように配置され、前記パワー部の少なくとも一部が、軸方向に見て、前記第一軸と前記第二軸とを通る仮想直線である第一基準線に直交するとともに前記第一軸を通る仮想直線である第二基準線と、前記第一基準線に直交するとともに前記第二軸を通る仮想直線である第三基準線との間に配置され、前記コンデンサ部が、前記パワー部に対して軸方向に並ぶ状態で一体的に連結されているとともに、その少なくとも一部が、軸方向に見て前記第二基準線と前記第三基準線との間に配置されている点にある。
また、「回転電機」は、モータ(電動機)、ジェネレータ(発電機)、及び必要に応じてモータ及びジェネレータの双方の機能を果たすモータ・ジェネレータのいずれをも含む概念として用いている。
また、2つの部材の配置に関して、「ある方向に見て重複する」とは、その視線方向に平行な仮想直線を当該仮想直線に直交する各方向に移動させた場合に、当該仮想直線が2つの部材の双方に交わる領域が少なくとも一部に存在することを意味する。
ここで、変速出力ギヤを有する変速機構と、ギヤ機構とをさらに備え、前記ギヤ機構は、前記変速出力ギヤに噛み合う第一ギヤと、前記差動歯車装置の差動入力ギヤに噛み合いかつ前記第一ギヤよりも小径の第二ギヤとを有するとともに、前記第一軸及び前記第二軸と平行な別の軸である第三軸を回転軸心として配置され、前記コンデンサ部が、前記パワー部よりも小型に形成されて、軸方向に見て前記パワー部と完全に重複するように配置され、軸方向において、前記第一ギヤから前記第二ギヤに向かう向きが、前記パワー部から前記コンデンサ部に向かう向きと反対となっていると好適である。
また、前記パワー部の少なくとも一部及び前記コンデンサ部の少なくとも一部の両方が、軸方向に見て前記第一ギヤと重複するように配置されていると好適である。
本実施形態に係る車両用駆動装置1の概略構成について説明する。図1及び図2に示すように、車両用駆動装置1は、内燃機関Eに駆動連結される入力軸Iと、複数(本例では2つ)の車輪Wのそれぞれに駆動連結される複数(本例では2つ)の出力軸Oと、回転電機MGと、差動歯車装置DFとを備えている。また、本実施形態では、車両用駆動装置1は、係合装置CLと、変速機構TMと、ギヤ機構Cとを備えている。係合装置CL、回転電機MG、変速機構TM、ギヤ機構C、及び差動歯車装置DFは、入力軸Iと出力軸Oとを結ぶ動力伝達経路Tに設けられている。これらは、入力軸Iの側から記載の順に設けられている。また、これらは、ケース(駆動装置ケース)2内に収容されている。本実施形態では、入力軸Iが本発明における「入力部材」に相当し、出力軸Oが本発明における「出力部材」に相当する。
本実施形態に係る車両用駆動装置1における、ケース2に対するインバータ装置3の固定構造について説明する。図2及び図4に示すように、本実施形態では、ケース2は軸方向Lに分割形成された第一ケース部21と第二ケース部26とを備えている。第一ケース部21は、主に回転電機MG及び係合装置CLの収容空間を形成するケース部である。第二ケース部26は、主に変速機構TM及びギヤ機構Cの収容空間を形成するケース部である。本実施形態では、第一ケース部21と第二ケース部26とに跨って、差動歯車装置DFの収容空間も形成される。なお、第二ケース部26は、第一ケース部21に対して軸第二方向L2側から接合されている。
本実施形態に係る車両用駆動装置1における、インバータ装置3と各構成部品との配置関係について説明する。図5に示すように、インバータ装置3は、少なくともケース2(周壁22)の第一接合面22aよりも軸第二方向L2側(内燃機関Eとは反対側)に配置されている。本実施形態では、図4に示すように、インバータ装置3は、第一ケース部21が軸方向Lで占める範囲のうち、第一接合面22a側の所定範囲(本例ではおよそ半分)を避けて、それよりも軸第二方向L2側に配置されている。これにより、第一接合面22aを介した車両用駆動装置1と内燃機関Eとの連結作業を容易化することができる。例えば、特殊工具を用いることなく連結作業を行うことができ、及び/又は、連結作業中にインバータ装置3を誤って傷つけてしまうことを抑制できる。
最後に、本発明に係る車両用駆動装置の、その他の実施形態について説明する。なお、以下のそれぞれの実施形態で開示される構成は、矛盾が生じない限り、他の実施形態で開示される構成と組み合わせて適用することも可能である。

- 内燃機関に駆動連結される入力部材と、複数の車輪のそれぞれに駆動連結される複数の出力部材と、回転電機と、前記回転電機の側から伝達される駆動力を複数の前記出力部材に分配する差動歯車装置と、前記回転電機に接続されるインバータ装置とを備えた車両用駆動装置であって、
第一軸を回転軸心として前記入力部材と前記回転電機とが軸方向に並んで配置され、
前記第一軸と平行な別の軸である第二軸を回転軸心として前記差動歯車装置が配置され、
前記インバータ装置は、直流交流変換用のスイッチング素子を含むパワー部と、平滑用のコンデンサを含むコンデンサ部と、を有し、
前記インバータ装置の少なくとも一部が径方向に見て前記差動歯車装置と重複するように配置され、
前記パワー部の少なくとも一部が、軸方向に見て、前記第一軸と前記第二軸とを通る仮想直線である第一基準線に直交するとともに前記第一軸を通る仮想直線である第二基準線と、前記第一基準線に直交するとともに前記第二軸を通る仮想直線である第三基準線との間に配置され、
前記コンデンサ部が、前記パワー部に対して軸方向に並ぶ状態で一体的に連結されているとともに、その少なくとも一部が、軸方向に見て前記第二基準線と前記第三基準線との間に配置されている車両用駆動装置。 - 変速出力ギヤを有する変速機構と、ギヤ機構とをさらに備え、
前記ギヤ機構は、前記変速出力ギヤに噛み合う第一ギヤと、前記差動歯車装置の差動入力ギヤに噛み合いかつ前記第一ギヤよりも小径の第二ギヤとを有するとともに、前記第一軸及び前記第二軸と平行な別の軸である第三軸を回転軸心として配置され、
前記コンデンサ部が、前記パワー部よりも小型に形成されて、軸方向に見て前記パワー部と完全に重複するように配置され、
軸方向において、前記第一ギヤから前記第二ギヤに向かう向きが、前記パワー部から前記コンデンサ部に向かう向きと反対となっている請求項1に記載の車両用駆動装置。 - 前記パワー部の少なくとも一部及び前記コンデンサ部の少なくとも一部の両方が、軸方向に見て前記第一ギヤと重複するように配置されている請求項2に記載の車両用駆動装置。
- 内燃機関に駆動連結される入力部材と、複数の車輪のそれぞれに駆動連結される複数の出力部材と、回転電機と、前記回転電機の側から伝達される駆動力を複数の前記出力部材に分配する差動歯車装置と、前記回転電機に接続されるインバータ装置とを備えた車両用駆動装置であって、
変速出力ギヤを有する変速機構と、ギヤ機構と、前記回転電機、前記変速機構、前記ギヤ機構、及び前記差動歯車装置を収容するケースとをさらに備え、
第一軸を回転軸心として前記入力部材と前記回転電機とが軸方向に並んで配置され、
前記第一軸と平行な別の軸である第二軸を回転軸心として前記差動歯車装置が配置され、
前記第一軸及び前記第二軸と平行な別の軸である第三軸を回転軸心として前記ギヤ機構が配置され、
前記ケースは、前記内燃機関に接合される接合面を有し、
前記ギヤ機構は、前記変速出力ギヤに噛み合う第一ギヤと、前記差動歯車装置の差動入力ギヤに噛み合いかつ前記第一ギヤよりも小径の第二ギヤとを有するとともに、前記第二ギヤが前記第一ギヤよりも軸方向における前記接合面側に位置するように配置され、
前記インバータ装置の少なくとも一部が径方向に見て前記差動歯車装置と重複するように配置されるとともに、さらにその少なくとも一部が、軸方向に見て、前記第一軸と前記第二軸とを通る仮想直線である第一基準線に直交するとともに前記第一軸を通る仮想直線である第二基準線と、前記第一基準線に直交するとともに前記第二軸を通る仮想直線である第三基準線との間に配置され、さらに、
前記インバータ装置が軸方向における前記接合面と前記第一ギヤとの間に収まるとともに、当該インバータ装置の少なくとも一部が、軸方向に見て前記第一ギヤと重複するように配置されている車両用駆動装置。 - 前記インバータ装置の少なくとも一部が、径方向に見て前記ギヤ機構と重複するように配置されている請求項2から4のいずれか一項に記載の車両用駆動装置。
- 車両搭載状態において、軸方向に見て、前記第三軸が水平方向における前記第一軸と前記第二軸との間であって、前記第一軸及び前記第二軸よりも鉛直上側に配置され、
前記インバータ装置の全体が、軸方向に見て、前記第一軸を通る仮想鉛直線である第四基準線と前記差動入力ギヤの外接円に接する仮想鉛直接線である第五基準線との間に収まるように配置されている請求項2から5のいずれか一項に記載の車両用駆動装置。 - 前記回転電機、前記変速機構、前記ギヤ機構、及び前記差動歯車装置を収容するとともに、前記内燃機関に接合される接合面を有するケースをさらに備え、
前記インバータ装置の少なくとも一部が、軸方向で前記接合面と前記第二ギヤとの間において、軸方向に見て前記第二ギヤと重複するように配置されている請求項2から6のいずれか一項に記載の車両用駆動装置。 - 前記ギヤ機構は、前記第一ギヤと前記第二ギヤとを連結する軸部材を有し、
前記インバータ装置の少なくとも一部が、軸方向で前記接合面と前記軸部材との間において、軸方向に見て前記軸部材と重複するように配置されている請求項7に記載の車両用駆動装置。 - 前記回転電機、前記変速機構、前記ギヤ機構、及び前記差動歯車装置を収容するとともに、前記内燃機関に接合される接合面を有するケースをさらに備え、
前記ギヤ機構及び前記変速機構のうちのいずれか一方に形成された第三ギヤと、
前記第三ギヤに噛み合う状態で前記車輪の回転を規制するとともに前記第三ギヤへの噛み合いが解除された状態で前記車輪の回転を許容するロック機構と、を備え、
前記インバータ装置の全体が、軸方向で前記接合面と前記ロック機構との間に配置されている請求項2から8のいずれか一項に記載の車両用駆動装置。 - 前記インバータ装置の少なくとも一部が、径方向に見て前記回転電機と重複するように配置されている請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の車両用駆動装置。
