Description
この特許協力条約に基づく本特許出願は、2017年3月29日に出願され、参照により全体が取り込まれる、「Device having Integrated Interface System」と題された米国仮特許出願第62/478,537号に対する優先権を主張するものである。
説明される実施形態は、概して電子デバイスに関し、より具体的には、デバイスのエンクロージャと統合された透明な誘電体入力面を有する電子デバイスに関する。
Claims (21)
- ポータブルコンピュータであって、
ディスプレイ部であって、
前記ディスプレイ部の前部外面を画定する第1のガラス部材と、
前記ディスプレイ部の、前記前部外面とは反対側の後部外面を画定する第2のガラス部材であって、前記第1のガラス部材及び前記第2のガラス部材は内部空洞を画定する、第2のガラス部材と、
前記内部空洞に配置されており、前記第1のガラス部材の内面に結合されたディスプレイと、
前記内部空洞の少なくとも一部を占めるポッティング材と、
を備えるディスプレイ部と、
前記ディスプレイ部にフレキシブルに結合されたベース部であって、
前記ベース部の下部外面を画定する下部ケースと、
前記下部ケースに結合された上部ケースであって、
前記ベース部の上部外面と、
前記ベース部の前記上部外面に沿ったキーボード領域と、
前記ベース部の前記上部外面に沿ったトラックパッド領域と、
を画定する上部ケースと、
を備えるベース部と、
を備える、ポータブルコンピュータ。 - 請求項1に記載のポータブルコンピュータであって、前記ディスプレイ部は、前記第1のガラス部材を前記第2のガラス部材に結合する接合部材であって、前記ディスプレイ部の側面の少なくとも一部を画定する接合部材をさらに備える、ポータブルコンピュータ。
- 請求項1に記載のポータブルコンピュータであって、前記上部ケースは、ガラス上部ケースである、ポータブルコンピュータ。
- 請求項3に記載のポータブルコンピュータであって、
前記ガラス上部ケースは前記キーボード領域のキーウェブを画定し、前記キーウェブは複数の開口を画定し、
前記ベース部は、前記キーウェブの前記複数の開口の個別の開口に配置された個別のキーを備えるキーボードをさらに備える、ポータブルコンピュータ。 - 請求項1に記載のポータブルコンピュータであって、前記キーボード領域と前記トラックパッド領域とは、前記ベース部の前記上部外面に沿って同じ幅を有する、ポータブルコンピュータ。
- 請求項1に記載のポータブルコンピュータであって、前記上部ケースは金属から形成される、ポータブルコンピュータ。
- ノートブックコンピュータであって、
ディスプレイ部であって、
前部外面と、
前記前部外面とは反対側の後部外面と、
前記前部外面から前記後部外面に延在する側部外面と、を画定し、
前記ディスプレイ部は、

ガラスから形成され、前記ディスプレイ部の前記後部外面を画定する第2の筐体部と、
前記ディスプレイ部に配置され、前記前部外面を通じて視認可能なグラフィカル出力を作り出すように構成されたディスプレイであって、前記第1の筐体部の内面に接着されるディスプレイと、
を備える、ディスプレイ部と、
前記ディスプレイ部にフレキシブルに結合されたベース部であって、
前記ノートブックコンピュータのユーザ入力面を画定する第3の筐体部と、
前記第3の筐体部に結合され、前記ノートブックコンピュータの下部外面を画定する第4の筐体部と、
を備える、ベース部と、
を備える、ノートブックコンピュータ。 - 請求項7に記載のノートブックコンピュータであって、前記第1の筐体部と前記第2の筐体部との間に配置された接合構造であって、前記ディスプレイ部の前記側部外面の少なくとも一部を画定する接合構造をさらに備える、ノートブックコンピュータ。
- 請求項8に記載のノートブックコンピュータであって、
前記第1の筐体部は、前記接合構造に接着され、
前記第2の筐体部は、前記接合構造に接着される、ノートブックコンピュータ。 - 請求項7に記載のノートブックコンピュータであって、前記第2の筐体部の表面に配置されたコーティングをさらに備える、ノートブックコンピュータ。
- 請求項7に記載のノートブックコンピュータであって、前記第3の筐体部は、ガラス部材である、ノートブックコンピュータ。
- 請求項11に記載のノートブックコンピュータであって、前記第3の筐体部は、キーボードの個別のキーを受け入れるように構成された複数の個別のキー開口を画定するキーウェブを画定する、ノートブックコンピュータ。

キーボードと、
前記キーボードの側方に沿ったトラックパッド領域と、
を備える、ベース部と、
前記ベース部に結合され、前記ベース部に対する開位置と前記ベース部に対する閉位置との間を移動可能であるディスプレイ部であって、

前記第1のガラス筐体構造に結合され、前記ポータブルコンピュータのディスプレイ面を画定する第2のガラス筐体構造であって、前記ディスプレイ面は、前記外面に平行である、第2のガラス筐体構造と、
前記第1のガラス筐体構造と前記第2のガラス筐体構造との間に配置され、前記ディスプレイ面を通じて視認可能なグラフィカル出力を作り出すように構成されたディスプレイと、
前記第1のガラス筐体構造と前記第2のガラス筐体構造との間に位置する接合構造と、
を備える、ディスプレイ部と、
を備える、ポータブルコンピュータ。 - 請求項13に記載のポータブルコンピュータであって、前記キーボードと前記トラックパッド領域とは、同じ幅を有する、ポータブルコンピュータ。
- 請求項13に記載のポータブルコンピュータであって、前記ベース部は、前記トラックパッド領域を画定する第3のガラス筐体構造を備える、ポータブルコンピュータ。
- 請求項13に記載のポータブルコンピュータであって、
前記第1のガラス筐体構造は、前記接合構造の第1の側に接着され、
前記第2のガラス筐体構造は、前記接合構造の第2の側に接着される、ポータブルコンピュータ。 - 請求項16に記載のポータブルコンピュータであって、前記接合構造は、前記ディスプレイ部の外側面の少なくとも一部を画定する、ポータブルコンピュータ。
