Claims (4)
- ガラス組成として、質量%で、SiO2 50~70%、Al2O3 0~20%、B2O3 10~30%、SiO2+Al2O3+B2O3 90~98%、Li2O+Na2O+K2O 0~0.5%未満、MgO+CaO 6~10%、CaO 2%以上、TiO2 0~2%、F2 0~0.5%未満、Fe2O3 1%以下を含有し、且つ質量比CaO/MgOが0.2~0.9であることを特徴とするガラス繊維であって、
103.0dPa・sの粘度に相当する温度が1350℃以下、且つ、液相温度と紡糸温度との差が140℃以上であるガラス繊維。 - 25℃、1MHzでの誘電率が4.8以下であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のガラス繊維。
- 液相温度が1200℃以下であることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載のガラス繊維。
- ガラス組成として、質量%で、SiO2 50~70%、Al2O3 0~20%、B2O3 10~30%、SiO2+Al2O3+B2O3 90~98%、Li2O+Na2O+K2O 0~0.5%未満、MgO+CaO 6~10%、CaO 2%以上、TiO2 0~2%、F2 0~0.5%未満、Fe2O3 1%以下を含有し、且つ質量比CaO/MgOが0.2~0.9であり、103.0dPa・sの粘度に相当する温度が1350℃以下、且つ、液相温度と紡糸温度との差が140℃以上であるガラスが得られるように調合した原料バッチをガラス溶融炉で溶融し、得られた溶融ガラスをブッシングから連続的に引き出して繊維状に成形することを特徴とする、ガラス繊維の製造方法。
