Description
1/Tg=w1/Tg(1)+w2/Tg(2)
コポリマーについては、w1およびw2は2つのコモノマーの重量分率を指し、Tg(1)およびTg(2)はモノマーから製造された2つの対応するホモポリマーのガラス転移温度を指す。3つ以上のモノマーを含むポリマーについては、追加の用語が加えられる(wn/Tg(n))。ホモポリマーのガラス転移温度は、例えば、“Polymer Handbook,”edited by J.Brandrup and E.H.Immergut,Interscience Publishersに見出すことができる。ポリマーのTgはまた、例えば、示差走査熱量測定(「DSC」)を含む様々な技術によっても測定することできる。本明細書で使用される場合、「計算されたTg」という語句は、Fox方程式によって計算されるガラス転移温度を意味するものとする。

実施例2で調製した本発明のPVCプロファイル組成物の単一Vノッチ-シャルピー衝撃強度(ISO179-1/1eCに従って測定)を、表4に示すように評価した。
比較PVCプロファイル組成物の衝撃強度の特徴
実施例3で調製した比較のPVCプロファイル組成物の単一Vノッチ-シャルピー衝撃強度(ISO179-1/1eCに従って測定)を、表5に示すように評価した。
例示および比較PVCプロファイル組成物の衝撃強度プロファイル比較
図1は、実施例5で決定した比較例C1、C2、およびC3と比較した、実施例4で決定した本発明の実施例E7、E4、およびE13の衝撃強度プロファイルを示す。データは、本発明に従って調製したPVCプロファイル組成物が衝撃強度の予想外の増加をもたらすことを実証している。
本発明および比較PVCプロファイル組成物の押出の特徴
本発明および比較PVCプロファイル組成物の押出の特徴は、表6に示された押出条件を使用して、長方形プロファイルダイを備えた円錐形二軸スクリュー押出機を使用して実施された。
本発明および比較PVCプロファイル組成物の光沢および色の特徴
本発明および比較PVCプロファイル組成物の光沢および色の特徴は、BYK Spectro-Guide、モデル6834を使用して、ISO 7724規格に従って押出プロファイルの表面で測定された。
Claims (8)
- ポリ塩化ビニル組成物であって、
(a)K-63~K-70のK値を有するポリ塩化ビニルと、
(b)多段アクリル衝撃改質剤であって、
(i)前記多段アクリル衝撃改質剤の総重量に基づいて、65~96重量%のコアポリマーであって、前記コアの総重量に基づいて、(A)95~99.9重量%の1種以上のアルキルアクリレートモノマー、ならびに(B)0.1~1.5重量%の1種以上の架橋性モノマー、グラフト結合性モノマー、およびそれらの組み合わせ、に由来する重合単位を含む、コアポリマーと、
(ii)前記多段アクリル衝撃改質剤の総重量に基づいて、4~35重量%のシェルポリマーであって、前記シェルの総重量に基づいて、(A)95~100重量%の1種以上のアルキル(メタ)アクリレートモノマー、ならびに(B)0~1.5重量%の1種以上の連鎖移動剤、に由来する重合単位を含む、シェルポリマーと、を含む、多段アクリル衝撃改質剤と、
(c)(i)400~900nmのd50粒径値、(ii)2.6μm未満のd98粒径値、および(iii)2.0未満のd50粒径値を有する粒子とd20粒径値を有する粒子の比率(d50/d20)を有する粉砕炭酸カルシウムと、を含む、ポリ塩化ビニル組成物。 - (i)前記コアの1種以上のアルキルアクリレートモノマーが、エチルアクリレート、ブチルアクリレート、2-エチルヘキシルアクリレート、シクロペンチルアクリレート、シクロヘキシルアクリレート、ベンジルアクリレート、およびイソオクチルアクリレート、ならびにそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択され、前記コアの1種以上の架橋性モノマー、グラフト結合性モノマー、およびそれらの組み合わせが、ブタンジオールジ(メタ)アクリレート、エチレングリコールジ(メタ)アクリレート、ジビニルベンゼン、ジエチレングリコールジ(メタ)アクリレート、ジアリルマレエート、アリル(ally)アクリレート、アリルメタクリレート、ジアリルフタレート、トリアリルフタレート、トリメチロールプロパントリ(メタ)アクリレート、およびそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択され、
(ii)前記シェルの1種以上のアルキル(メタ)アクリレートモノマーが、メチルメタクリレート、エチルアクリレート、ブチルアクリレート、ブチルメタクリレート、2-エチルヘキシルアクリレート、シクロペンチルアクリレート、シクロヘキシルアクリレート、ベンジルアクリレート、ベンジルメタクリレート、イソオクチルアクリレート、およびそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択され、前記1種以上の連鎖移動剤が、1-ドデカンチオール、t-ドデカンチオール、チオエタノール、ヘキサンチオール、メルカプトプロピオン酸、メチル-3-メルカプトプロピオネート、ブチル-3-メルカプトプロピオネート、およびそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の組成物。 - (i)前記コアの1種以上のアクリル酸アルキルモノマーが、ブチルアクリレート、2-エチルヘキシルアクリレート、およびそれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択され、前記コアの1種以上の架橋性モノマー、グラフト結合性モノマー、およびそれらの組み合わせが、アリルメタクリレートであり、
(ii)前記シェルの1種以上のアルキル(メタ)アクリレートモノマーが、メチルメタクリレートである、請求項1に記載の組成物。 - 前記衝撃改質剤(b)が、前記ポリ塩化ビニル組成物の総重量に基づいて、1~8phrの量で存在し、前記粉砕炭酸カルシウム(c)が、前記ポリ塩化ビニル組成物の総重量に基づいて、4~25phrの量で存在する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記衝撃改質剤(b)が、前記ポリ塩化ビニル組成物の総重量に基づいて、4~6phrの量で存在し、前記粉砕炭酸カルシウム(c)が、前記ポリ塩化ビニル組成物の総重量に基づいて、6~16phrの量で存在する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリ塩化ビニルが、K-65~K-68のK値を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 請求項1に記載のポリ塩化ビニル組成物を含む製品であって、前記製品が、窓用形材、パイプ、技術プロファイル、壁パネル、天井パネル、クラッディングパネル、またはワイヤ絶縁材からなる群から選択される、製品。
- (a)K-65~K-68のK値を有する、ポリ塩化ビニルと、
(b)多段アクリル衝撃改質剤であって、
(i)前記多段アクリル衝撃改質剤の総重量に基づいて、65~96重量%のコアポリマーであって、前記コアの総重量に基づいて、(A)95~99.9重量%の1種以上のアルキルアクリレートモノマー、ならびに(B)0.1~1.5重量%の1種以上の架橋性モノマー、グラフト結合性モノマー、およびそれらの組み合わせ、に由来する重合単位を含む、コアポリマーと、
(ii)前記多段アクリル衝撃改質剤の総重量に基づいて、4~35重量%のシェルポリマーであって、前記シェルの総重量に基づいて、(A)95~100重量%の1種以上のアルキル(メタ)アクリレートモノマー、ならびに(B)0~2重量%の1種以上の連鎖移動剤、に由来する重合単位を含む、シェルポリマーと、を含む、多段アクリル衝撃改質剤と、
(c)(i)400~900nmのd50粒径値、(ii)2.6μm未満のd98粒径値、および(iii)2.0未満のd50粒径値を有する粒子とd20粒径値を有する粒子の比率(d50/d20)を有する粉砕炭酸カルシウムと、を含む、ポリ塩化ビニル組成物。
