Abstract
Description
a)水性懸濁物またはスラリ中での少なくとも1つの粉砕ステップにおいて鉱物材料を、該鉱物材料が0.1μmから1.5μmの、好ましくは0.4μmから1.1μmの、より好ましくは0.6μmから0.9μmの、最も好ましくは0.8μmの重量中央粒径d50を有するまで湿式粉砕するステップであって、該少なくとも1つの粉砕ステップにおいて関連する加工剤が存在しないステップ、
b)乾燥物の50重量%から70重量%の間の、好ましくは55重量%から65重量%の、最も好ましくは60重量%の固体含有率を得るためにステップb)の水性懸濁物またはスラリを場合により高濃縮(up−concentrating)または脱水するステップであって、前記鉱物質が0.1μmから1.5μmの、好ましくは0.4μmから1.1μmの、より好ましくは0.6μmから0.9μmの、最も好ましくは0.8μmの重量中央粒径d50を有するステップ、
c)99.8%の固体含有率を有する鉱物質を得るためにステップa)またはb)の水性懸濁物またはスラリを乾燥させるステップであって、関連する加工剤が存在しないステップ、
d)ステップc)の生成物を少なくとも1つの脂肪族カルボン酸によって場合により表面処理するステップ。
別途指摘しない限り、本発明で挙げるパラメータは後述する測定方法に従って測定する。
本発明を通じて、d50は重量による重量中央粒径であり、粒子の50重量%がより粗くまたはより細かくなるような様式で粒子を表している。
比表面積は、ISO 9277に従って窒素およびBET法を使用して測定した。
シャルピーノッチ付き衝撃強さは、縦方向の押出物から切り出したVノッチ押出試料に対して、179−1:2000に従い、条件1fCおよび1eAによって測定した。測定条件:23℃±2℃および50%±10%相対湿度。試験片は、ISO 3167 Typ Aに記載されているように押出によって作製した。
無機鉱物材料中の含水率は、熱重量分析(TGA)によって決定する。TGA分析方法によって、質量の損失に関する情報が高い精度で提供されるが、TGA分析方法は周知であり、「Principles of Instrumental analysis」,fifth edition,Skoog,Holler,Nieman,1998(first Ed.1992)in Chapter 31,pages 798−800および当業者に公知の他の多くの一般に公知の参考文献に記載されている。本発明において、熱重量分析は、Mettler Toledo TGA 851を使用して、500mg±50mgの試料に基づいて、105℃から400℃の走査温度で、70ml/分の気流中20℃/分の速度にて行った。
混合物の粘度は、No.5スピンドルを備えたBrookfield(商標)(モデルDV−II+)粘度計を使用して、30℃にて10rpmおよび100rpmで測定した。
表面光沢は、ISO 2813:1994に従って、Byk Spectro Guide Sphere Glossを使用して、平面から60°の角度にて測定した。光沢値は、n回の測定の平均値を計算することによって決定する。現在の構成では、n=10である。
E1は、比較例C1と同じ量(8phr)の本発明のCaCO3によってシャルピー耐衝撃性(ISO 179/1fC)を10%上昇させる。本発明のCaCO3の量がより多い(16phr)E2では、押出形材のシャルピー衝撃強さ(ISO 179/1fC)は、C1またはC1’のシャルピー衝撃強さよりもなお約10%高く、CaCO3が同量の16phrである比較例C2より20%も高い。本発明によって提供されるCaCO3含有率が上昇するにつれトルクが低下するので、プラスの影響を及ぼす押出機のトルクにさらなる変化を見出すことができる。トルクがより低いということは第一に、エネルギー消費がより低いが、押出中のポリマーマトリクスに付与される応力も低いことを意味する。
E1は、比較例C1と同じ量(8phr)の本発明のCaCO3によって、シャルピー耐衝撃性(ISO 179/1eA)を約100%上昇させる。本発明のCaCO3の量がより多いと(16phr)、押出形材に対するシャルピー衝撃強さ(ISO 179/1eA)は、C1、C1’およびC2のシャルピー衝撃強さよりもなお100%以上高い。本発明によって提供されるCaCO3含有率が上昇するにつれトルクが低下するので、プラスの影響を及ぼす押出機のトルクにさらなる変化を見出すことができる。トルクがより低いということは第一に、エネルギー消費がより低いが、押出中のポリマーマトリクスに付与される応力も低いことを意味する。最終的な光学特性、例えば光沢度および黄色度は許容範囲内であるため、本発明によって与えられる全体的な利益が示され、注目に値するのは、物理的特性および光学特性に負の影響を及ぼすことなく、PVCポリマーの少なくとも8phrが充填剤によって置換されることである。
本発明の鉱物材料は、圧縮成形で主に使用する成形繊維強化ポリエステル材料である、シート・モールディング・コンパウンド(SMC)またはバルク・モールディング・コンパウンド(BMC)を提供するために、不飽和ポリエステル樹脂に加工される。SMCの製造には、概して2つのステップが必要である。第1のステップは熱硬化性樹脂を提供することより成り、第2のステップ(変換操作)はSMC圧縮として公知であり、熱間プレス成形である。前記変換操作の間に、温度の上昇と機械的圧力との組合せが作用して、金型にSMCが充填され、熱硬化性樹脂が架橋される。
本発明の鉱物材料で可撓性ポリウレタンフォームを作製した。
220ml密閉式ガラス瓶中に、トルエンジイソシアネート(TDI)を最低6時間にわたって室温で保管した後に秤量した。秤量後、瓶を閉め、室温にて保管した。
本発明の鉱物材料でポリオレフィンのマスターバッチを作製する。特に、処理した形の本発明の鉱物材料を直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン(LLDPE)に配合する。LLDPEは約10重量%から約80重量%の量で存在し、本発明の処理済み鉱物材料は約90重量%から約20重量%の量で存在する。好ましくは、LLDPEは20重量%から約50重量%の量で存在し、本発明による処理済み鉱物材料は80重量%から約50重量%の量で存在する。より好ましくは、LLDPEは25重量%から約45重量%の量で存在し、本発明による処理済み鉱物材料は85重量%から約60重量%の量で存在し、最も好ましくは、マスターバッチは30重量%から40重量%のLLDPEおよび70重量%から約60重量%の本発明による処理済み鉱物材料で構成され、中央粒径d50は未処理鉱物材料で決定されたが、約0.1μmから約1.5μm、好ましくは約0.4μmから約1.1μm、より好ましくは約0.6μmから約0.9μm、最も好ましくは0.8μmの値を有し、BET/N2比表面積は未処理鉱物材料で測定され、3m2/gから13m2/g、好ましくは6m2/gから10m2/g、より好ましくは7m2/gから8m2/gに達する。
本発明による鉱物質のまた別の実施形態をここで示す。本発明の鉱物材料でポリオレフィンのマスターバッチを作製する。特に、処理された形の本発明の鉱物材料は、ポリプロピレン(PP)に配合される。PPは約10重量%から約80重量%の量で存在し、本発明の処理済み鉱物材料は約90重量%から約20重量%の量で存在する。好ましくは、PPは20重量%から約50重量%の量で存在し、本発明による処理済み鉱物材料は80重量%から約50重量%の量で存在する。より好ましくは、PPは25重量%から約45重量%の量で存在し、本発明による処理済み鉱物材料は85重量%から約60重量%の量で存在し、最も好ましくは、マスターバッチはPP 30重量%から40重量%および本発明による処理済み鉱物材料70重量%から約60重量%で構成され、中央粒径d50は未処理鉱物材料で決定されたが、約0.1μmから約1.5μm、好ましくは約0.4μmから約1.1μm、より好ましくは約0.6μmから約0.9μm、最も好ましくは0.8μmの値を有し、BET/N2比表面積は未処理鉱物材料で測定され、4m2/gから15m2/g、好ましくは6m2/gから10m2/g、より好ましくは7m2/gから8m2/gの量に達する。
別段の指示がない限り、本発明で挙げるパラメータは後述する測定方法に従って測定する。
タイター、即ち線密度[dtex]はEN ISO 2062に従って測定してよく、10,000m紡糸1グラムの重量に相当する。25または100メートルの試料を0.5cN/texの予張力で標準リールに巻き付け、分析用天秤で秤量する。次に10,000m紡糸長当たりのグラム数を計算する。
単位面積当たりの布重量または質量[g/m2]は、EN ISO 9864に従って測定する。

Claims (31)
- 粉砕鉱物材料を調製する方法であって:
a)水性懸濁物またはスラリ中での少なくとも1つの粉砕ステップにおいて鉱物材料を、鉱物材料が0.1μmから1.5μmの、好ましくは0.4μmから1.1μmの、より好ましくは0.6μmから0.9μmの、最も好ましくは0.8μmの重量中央粒径d50を有するまで湿式粉砕するステップであって、少なくとも1つの粉砕ステップにおいて関連する加工剤が存在しないステップ、
b)乾燥物の50重量%から70重量%の間の、好ましくは55重量%から65重量%の、最も好ましくは60重量%の固体含有率を得るためにステップb)の水性懸濁物またはスラリを場合により高濃縮または脱水するステップであって、鉱物質が0.1μmから1.5μmの、好ましくは0.4μmから1.1μmの、より好ましくは0.6μmから0.9μmの、最も好ましくは0.8μmの重量中央粒径d50を有するステップ、
c)99.8%の固体含有率を有する鉱物質を得るためにステップa)またはb)の水性懸濁物またはスラリを乾燥させるステップであって、関連する加工剤が存在しないステップ、
d)ステップc)の生成物を少なくとも1つの脂肪族カルボン酸によって場合により表面処理するステップ
を含む、方法。 - ステップd)の後に脱凝集ステップe)をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ステップa)が、固体含有率が10重量%から40重量%、好ましくは20重量%から30重量%である少なくとも1つの粉砕ステップおよび必須のステップb)を含み、粉砕ステップにおいて関連する加工剤は存在しない、請求項1または2に記載の方法。

- 押出試料でISO 179/1eAに従って測定した10kJ/m2から約140kJ/m2のシャルピー衝撃強さを有する、請求項23に記載の熱可塑性PVC生成物。
- 約20から約60の、好ましくは40から約60の、なおさらに好ましくは約42から約55の60°光沢度[−]を有する、請求項23または24に記載の熱可塑性PVC生成物。
- 形材、例えば窓用形材、パイプおよび工業用形材、例えばケーブルもしくはワイヤ用導管(conducts)、壁、天井もしくは外装用パネル、ワイヤ絶縁体、繊維、シート、フィルムおよび不織布を含む群より選択される、請求項20から25のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性ポリマー生成物。
- 窓用形材、パイプ、工業用形材、例えばケーブルもしくはワイヤ用導管(conducts)、壁、天井もしくは外装用パネル、ワイヤ絶縁体、繊維および不織布を含む群より選択される、請求項22から25のいずれかに記載の熱可塑性PVC生成物。
- 請求項8に記載の鉱物材料を含む熱可塑性可塑化PVC生成物。
- 請求項8に記載の鉱物材料を含む熱可塑性プラスチゾル生成物。
- 請求項8に記載の鉱物材料を含むポリウレタン、フォームポリウレタン、不飽和ポリエステル樹脂を含む熱硬化性ポリマー。
- バイオプラスチックまたは生分解性ポリマーである、請求項19に記載の熱可塑性ポリマー。
