Description
ここで、細胞培養バッグ1を構成するバッグ本体3と蓋部4の材質について説明する。液体培地収容部10を構成する少なくともバッグ本体3は、透明性に優れたフィルム材料により構成することが好ましい。なお、半透明のフィルム材を用いることもできるが、少なくとも、内部に収容される細胞の状態を観察できる程度の透明性を有していることが好ましい。また、バッグ本体3のみならず蓋部4も同様の透明性を備えていることが好ましい。
次に、本発明の細胞培養容器の特徴である液体培地収容部10を構成するバッグ本体3の形状について説明する。本発明に係る細胞培養容器は、水平方向(軸方向と直交する方向)に切断したときの断面が少なくとも円形である有底円筒形を呈している。本実施の形態では、バッグ本体3が有底円筒形を呈している。しかし、本発明において、当該バッグ本体3は、有底円柱状に限られず、当該バッグ本体3の外周面3Cが、図1及び図2に示すように、上部にいくに従い外側に拡開するテーパー形状や、曲面形状であってもよい。
また、上述した細胞培養バッグ1の上面を構成する蓋部4として、図7及び図8に示す容量干渉凹部21を備えた蓋部20を採用してもよい。当該蓋部20は、上述した蓋部4と同様に、少なくとも軟性を備えたものであり、細胞培養バッグ1内に細胞を含む液体培地8等が収容される前の状態において、バッグ本体3側に凹んだ、すなわち、培養空間2側に当該蓋部20の内面が突出した容量干渉凹部21を形成している。当該容量干渉凹部21は、少なくとも軟性を備えたものであって、培養空間2側に収容した細胞を含む液体培地8や気体の量が、バッグ本体3の容量から当該蓋部20の容量干渉凹部21の容積によって減じられた量を超えて供給されると、当該容量干渉凹部21がバッグ本体3の外方に向けて膨らむことにより、当該培養空間2の内容量を可変とするものである。図7は蓋部20に形成した容量干渉凹部21が膨らむ前の状態を示し、図8は図7の容量干渉凹部21が膨らんだ状態を示している。

- 前記底面からの前記凸部の立ち上がり部分の形状は、曲面形状である請求項1~請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の細胞スフェロイドの培養を行うための旋回培養用容器。
- 形状維持性を備えた軟性の透明材料からなる請求項1~請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の細胞スフェロイドの培養を行うための旋回培養用容器。
- 上面が、前記培養空間の内容量に応じて変形可能である請求項1~請求項5のいずれか一項に記載の細胞スフェロイドの培養を行うための旋回培養用容器。
- 前記培養空間に収容される液体培地の液面の高さが、使用時において前記凸部の高さに比べて高い請求項1~請求項6のいずれか一項に記載の細胞スフェロイドの培養を行うための旋回培養用容器。
- 前記凸部の高さよりも高い位置に、前記培養空間に収容する液体培地の標準量を示す指標を備える請求項1~請求項7のいずれか一項に記載の細胞スフェロイドの培養を行うための旋回培養用容器。
