Description
前記移動機構は、前記ウエブの搬送方向と直角な方向に間隔をあけた対で配置され、且つ前記ウエブの搬送方向に間隔をあけて複数対配置され、自由回転可能な第一箔支持用プーリ及び第二箔支持用プーリと、複数の前記第一箔支持用プーリの間に架け渡される無限軌道の第一箔支持用ベルト及び複数の前記第二箔支持用プーリの間に架け渡される無限軌道の第二箔支持用ベルトと、を備える。
前記第一箔支持用プーリ及び前記第二箔支持用プーリは、各外周面で前記ウエブの面を支持する前記箔支持部材の機能を兼ねている。前記通箔部材は、前記第一箔支持用ベルトと前記第二箔支持用ベルトの間に架け渡されて前記第一箔支持用ベルト及び前記第二箔支持用ベルトに固定され、前記第一箔支持用プーリ及び前記第二箔支持用プーリの回転に伴う前記第一箔支持用ベルト及び前記第二箔支持用ベルトの回転により、前記ウエブ搬送経路の始点側から終点側に移動する。
本発明のウエブ搬送装置の実施の形態を備えるウエブ乾燥装置の概略構成を図1及び図2を参照して説明する。このウエブ乾燥装置1は、例えば、リチウムイオンキャパシタの電極を製造するシステムに組み込まれ、ウエブWとして金属箔を搬送しつつウエブWの一面Waに塗工される塗工材としてスラリー状の電極材を乾燥する。
本実施形態のウエブ搬送装置10は、ウエブ搬送経路Kが逆S字状であって当該逆S字によって重畳するウエブ搬送経路Kの間隔が狭小の構成であるが、人手でウエブWをウエブ搬送経路Kに挿通させる必要がない。
ウエブ乾燥装置1は、作業者によるウエブWの搬送準備作業が行われた後、ウエブWの乾燥処理を行う。そこで、先ず、作業者によるウエブWの搬送準備作業について図4のフローチャートを参照して説明し、次に、ウエブ乾燥装置1の乾燥動作について図5のフローチャートを参照して説明する。
ウエブ搬送装置の変形例について、図2及び図3と対応させて示す図13及び図14を参照して説明する。なお、変形例のウエブ搬送装置7を備えるウエブ乾燥装置1を、ウエブWの面に平行であってウエブWの搬送方向と直角な方向から見た構成は、図1と同様であるため省略する。そして、図13及び図14において、図2及び図3と同一構成部材は同一番号を付してそれらの詳細な説明を省略する。
上述の実施形態では、ウエブ搬送装置10,7は、ウエブWを第三、第四、第五ローラ213,214,215で2回反転させているが、1回以上反転させる構成としても良い。反転回数が多いと、ウエブ搬送経路が複雑になるが、通箔部材3と移動機構4,8によってウエブWをスムーズに搬送できる。さらに、反転間隔(図1の上下方向の間隔)が狭い場合でも、通箔部材3と移動機構4,8によってウエブWをスムーズに搬送できる。反転回数を多くし、反転間隔を狭くすることで、熱風発生装置5を多く配置でき、小型なウエブ搬送装置を構成することができる。そして、ウエブWに連続塗工、間欠塗工等を行いながらウエブWを効率良く乾燥できるので、生産能力を向上することができる。
Claims (5)
- ウエブを曲折させて搬送するウエブ搬送経路を形成するウエブ搬送装置であって、
前記ウエブの搬送方向に間隔をあけて複数配置され、搬送される前記ウエブの面を支持する箔支持部材と、
前記ウエブを前記ウエブの搬送方向下流側に搬送することにより、複数の前記箔支持部材で形成される前記ウエブ搬送経路の始点側から終点側に前記ウエブを通す通箔部材と、
前記通箔部材を前記ウエブ搬送経路の始点側から終点側に移動させる移動機構と、
を備え、
前記移動機構は、
前記ウエブの搬送方向と直角な方向に間隔をあけた対で配置され、且つ前記ウエブの搬送方向に間隔をあけて複数対配置され、自由回転可能な第一箔支持用プーリ及び第二箔支持用プーリと、
複数の前記第一箔支持用プーリの間に架け渡される無限軌道の第一箔支持用ベルト及び複数の前記第二箔支持用プーリの間に架け渡される無限軌道の第二箔支持用ベルトと、
を備え、
前記第一箔支持用プーリ及び前記第二箔支持用プーリは、各外周面で前記ウエブの面を支持する前記箔支持部材の機能を兼ねており、
前記通箔部材は、前記第一箔支持用ベルトと前記第二箔支持用ベルトの間に架け渡されて前記第一箔支持用ベルト及び前記第二箔支持用ベルトに固定され、前記第一箔支持用プーリ及び前記第二箔支持用プーリの回転に伴う前記第一箔支持用ベルト及び前記第二箔支持用ベルトの回転により、前記ウエブ搬送経路の始点側から終点側に移動する、ウエブ搬送装置。 - 前記第一箔支持用プーリには、少なくとも、対となる前記第二箔支持用プーリとは反対側の端面側の周縁に第一外フランジが設けられ、
前記第二箔支持用プーリには、少なくとも、対となる前記第一箔支持用プーリとは反対側の端面側の周縁に第二外フランジが設けられ、
前記通箔部材は、前記第一箔支持用プーリの前記第一外フランジの外周面及び前記第二箔支持用プーリの前記第二外フランジの外周面と対向するように、前記第一箔支持用ベルト及び前記第二箔支持用ベルトに固定される、請求項1に記載のウエブ搬送装置。 - 前記通箔部材は、前記第一箔支持用プーリの前記第一外フランジ及び前記第二箔支持用プーリの前記第二外フランジの間の長さより長くなるように形成される、請求項2に記載のウエブ搬送装置。
- 前記第一箔支持用プーリには、対となる前記第二箔支持用プーリ側の端面側の周縁に第一内フランジが設けられ、
前記第二箔支持用プーリには、対となる前記第一箔支持用プーリ側の端面側の周縁に第二内フランジが設けられる、請求項2又は3に記載のウエブ搬送装置。 - 前記ウエブ搬送装置は、前記ウエブに塗工される塗工材を乾燥させるウエブ乾燥装置に備えられる、請求項1−4の何れか一項に記載のウエブ搬送装置。
