Claims (2)
- 第1材料からなるコアシャフトと、
前記コアシャフトの外周を覆うように設けられ、前記第1材料からなる第1素線と前記第1材料とは異なる第2材料からなる複数の第2素線とを撚り合わせてなるコイル体と、
前記コアシャフトの先端と前記コイル体の先端とを接合する先端接合部と、を備え、
前記先端接合部は、前記第1材料からなり前記コアシャフトの先端および前記第1素線の先端から連なり、
前記先端接合部が、前記複数の第2素線の先端を包み込んでおり、
前記複数の第2素線は、第2−1素線と、第2−2素線とを有し、
前記第2−1素線は、前記先端接合部において、先端に向かって拡径するように螺旋状に延びており、
前記第2−2素線は、前記先端接合部において、先端に向かって縮径するように螺旋状に延びていることを特徴とするガイドワイヤ。 - 前記第2材料の融点は、前記第1材料の融点よりも高いことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
