Description
光源からの出射光をリフレクタによって灯具前方へ向けて反射させることによりロービーム用配光パターンを形成するように構成された車両用灯具において、
上記光源として、第1発光素子とこの第1発光素子の灯具前方側に配置された第2発光素子とを備えており、
上記リフレクタは、上記第1発光素子からの出射光を反射させることにより上記ロービーム用配光パターンの少なくとも一部を構成する第1配光パターンを形成する第1反射面と、上記第2発光素子からの出射光を反射させることにより上記ロービーム用配光パターンにおける対向車線側のカットオフラインの下方近傍領域の明るさを増大させるための第2配光パターンを形成する第2反射面とを備えており、
上記第2反射面は、上記第1反射面の灯具前方側において上記第2発光素子の発光面の面直方向に位置するように配置されている、ことを特徴とするものである。
そして、この第2反射面24a2は、各反射素子24s2において第2発光素子22Bからの光を反射制御することによりロービーム用配光パターンにおける対向車線側のカットオフラインの下方近傍領域の明るさを増大させるための第2配光パターン(これについても後述する)を形成するようになっている。

Claims (5)
- 光源からの出射光をリフレクタによって灯具前方へ向けて反射させることによりロービーム用配光パターンを形成するように構成された車両用灯具において、
上記光源として、第1発光素子とこの第1発光素子の灯具前方側に配置された第2発光素子とを備えており、
上記リフレクタは、上記第1発光素子からの出射光を反射させることにより上記ロービーム用配光パターンの少なくとも一部を構成する第1配光パターンを形成する第1反射面と、上記第2発光素子からの出射光を反射させることにより上記ロービーム用配光パターンにおける対向車線側のカットオフラインの下方近傍領域の明るさを増大させるための第2配光パターンを形成する第2反射面とを備えており、
上記第2反射面は、上記第1反射面の灯具前方側において上記第2発光素子の発光面の面直方向に位置するように配置されている、ことを特徴とする車両用灯具。 - 上記第2発光素子からの出射光が上記第1反射面に入射しないようにするための第1遮光部材を備えている、ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用灯具。
- 上記第1発光素子からの出射光が上記第2反射面に入射しないようにするための第2遮光部材を備えている、ことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の車両用灯具。
- 上記第2発光素子は、上記第1発光素子よりも上記リフレクタから離れる方向に変位した状態で配置されている、ことを特徴とする請求項1〜3いずれか記載の車両用灯具。
- 上記第1および第2反射面は、いずれも放物面を基準面として形成されており、
上記第2反射面は、上記第1反射面よりも焦点距離が長い放物面を基準面として形成されている、ことを特徴とする請求項1〜4いずれか記載の車両用灯具。
