Description
本発明は、このような事情に鑑みてなされたものであり、回転トルクをより低減することができる玉軸受を提供することを目的とする。
この場合、玉のピッチ円よりも径方向外側でポケット面と玉とが接触するので、保持器(本体部)の外径を大きくすることができる。これにより、保持器の強度を向上させつつ玉軸受の回転トルクを低減することができる。
この場合、玉のピッチ円よりも径方向内側でポケット面と玉とが接触するので、保持器の外径を小さくすることができる。これにより、グリースによる撹拌抵抗を低減することができ、玉軸受の回転トルクをさらに低減することができる。また、保持器の外径を小さくすることで、コストダウンを図ることが可能となる。当該玉軸受は、低荷重下において使用される場合に好適である。
図1は、本発明の玉軸受の一実施形態を示す断面図である。この玉軸受1は、内輪2と、この内輪2の径方向外側に設けられている外輪3と、これら内輪2と外輪3との間に介在している複数の玉4と、これら玉4を保持している環状の保持器5とを備えている。
保持器5の柱部12が有する各本体部13は、玉4と点接触するポケット面17を周方向両側に有している。図4では、ポケット面17における玉4との接触点を符号44としている。一つの玉4を挟む一対のポケット面17,17は、その玉4を収容するポケット15の一部を構成している。また、本体部13のポケット面17の延長上に、ガイド部14の側面14aが存在している。この側面14aもポケット15の一部に含まれるが、側面14aは玉4と非接触である。
Claims (1)
- 外周に内軌道溝が形成されている内輪、内周に外軌道溝が形成されている外輪、前記内軌道溝と前記外軌道溝との間に介在する複数の玉、及び、前記複数の玉を周方向に沿って所定間隔毎に保持する環状の保持器を備え、
前記保持器は、前記玉の軸方向一方側に位置する環状部と、当該環状部から軸方向他方側に延びて設けられている複数の柱部と、を有し、
前記柱部は、前記内軌道溝に接触することにより当該保持器の位置決めを行い、前記玉とは非接触であるガイド部と、前記玉と点接触するポケット面を有する本体部と、を有し、
前記ガイド部は、前記内軌道溝のうち玉が接触する領域以外の非接触領域において接触する接触部を有し、
前記接触部は、前記保持器と前記内輪とが同心状にある場合に、前記内軌道溝と隙間を有し、前記保持器が前記内輪に対して前記同心状から径方向又は軸方向一方側に変位する場合に、前記内軌道溝に対して径方向又は軸方向に接触する、玉軸受。
