Description
そこで、本発明は、構造を簡素化しつつ軸受内部への異物の侵入を抑制することができるころ軸受を提供することを目的とする。
この場合、保持器の摺接面は、外輪軌道面においてクラウニング中心付近から軸方向に離れた位置に形成された案内面に摺接するので、案内面がクラウニング中心付近に形成されている場合に比べて、摺接面と案内面との接触面圧を低くすることができる。このため、摺接面と案内面との間に異物が侵入しても、摺接面及び案内面が異物によって剥離するのを抑制することができ、ころ軸受の耐久性をさらに向上させることができる。
この場合、保持器の内周円筒面が、内輪の外周において内輪軌道面の軸方向一方側に形成された外周円筒面に対してラビリンス隙間をあけて配置されるので、潤滑油に含まれる異物が内輪の外周円筒面側から内輪軌道面上に侵入するのを抑制することができる。これにより、内輪軌道面や円すいころの転動面が異物によって剥離するのを抑制することができ、ころ軸受の耐久性をさらに向上させることができる。
図1は、本発明の一実施形態に係る円すいころ軸受を示す軸方向断面図である。本実施形態の円すいころ軸受1は、自動車や各種建設用機械等のトランスミッションやディファレンシャル等に組み込まれるものである。この円すいころ軸受1は、内輪2、外輪3、複数の円すいころ4、及びこれら円すいころ4を保持する保持器10を有している。内輪2、外輪3及び保持器10は、共通する軸線Xを中心線とする環状(短円筒状)の部材である。そして、この円すいころ軸受1は、トランスミッションやディファレンシャル等の動力伝達機構を潤滑する潤滑油(オイル)によって潤滑される。
外輪3も、内輪2と同様、軸受鋼や機械構造用鋼等を用いて形成されており、その内周には、内輪軌道面2aに対向し複数の円すいころ4が転動するテーパー状の外輪軌道面3aが形成されている。
Claims (4)
- 内輪軌道面を外周に有する内輪と、前記内輪の外周側に同心に配置され前記内輪軌道面に対向する外輪軌道面を内周に有する外輪と、前記内輪軌道面と前記外輪軌道面との間に転動自在に介在する複数のころと、前記ころを周方向に沿って所定間隔毎に保持する保持器と、を備えたころ軸受であって、
前記外輪軌道面の少なくとも軸方向一端部が前記保持器の回転を案内する案内面とされており、
前記内輪の外周には、前記内輪軌道面の軸方向一方側に外周円筒面が形成されており、
前記保持器の外周には、
前記案内面に摺接するとともに、当該案内面に対してラビリンス隙間をあけて配置される摺接面と、
前記摺接面よりも軸方向内側に位置し、径方向内方に凹む凹部と、
が形成され、
前記保持器の内周には、前記内輪の外周円筒面に対してラビリンス隙間をあけて配置される内周円筒面が形成され、
前記内周円筒面は、
前記外周円筒面との間に第1ラビリンス隙間を形成する第1内周円筒面と、
前記第1内周円筒面の軸方向他方側に位置し、前記外周円筒面との間に前記第1ラビリンス隙間よりも大きい第2ラビリンス隙間を形成する第2内周円筒面と、を含む、
ころ軸受。 - 前記外輪軌道面の軸方向両端部が、前記保持器の回転を案内する複数の前記案内面とされており、
前記保持器の外周には、複数の前記案内面にそれぞれ摺接するとともに、複数の当該案内面に対してそれぞれラビリンス隙間をあけて配置される複数の摺接面が形成され、
前記凹部は、軸方向において、複数の前記摺接面の間に位置する、請求項1に記載のころ軸受。 - 前記外輪軌道面にはクラウニングが施されており、
前記案内面は、当該外輪軌道面におけるクラウニング中心付近から軸方向に離れた位置に形成されている、請求項1又は請求項2に記載のころ軸受。 - 前記保持器は、前記ラビリンス隙間に侵入した異物が当該保持器内に埋没する程度の硬さを有する樹脂材料から形成されている、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のころ軸受。
