Description
この場合、円すいころ軸受の組み立ての際に、円すいころが脱落するのを抜け止部によって阻止することができ、また、この抜け止部と、軸方向他方側の大環状部とが連続する構成となることで、保持器の軸方向他方側の形状が簡素化され、また、この部分を成型するための金型形状も簡素化される。
図1は円すいころ軸受の実施の一形態を示す断面図である。この円すいころ軸受10は、例えばホイールローダ等の建設機械のデフピニオンに用いられ、ハウジング81内において、ピニオンと共に回転する軸82を回転可能として支持する。ハウジング81内には、潤滑油(オイル)が溜められており、この潤滑油は円すいころ軸受10の潤滑に用いられる。なお、以下に説明する円すいころ軸受10の用途は、他であってもよい。
なお、図5に示す形態とは異なり、図示しないが、大環状部22の最小内径D1が、小環状部21の最大外径D2よりも小さくなっている(D1<D2)場合、軸方向に二分割される割金型の採用ができず、例えば、ポケット24を形成するために半径方向に移動する部分金型を更に要し、金型構成が複雑となる。
前記実施形態では、円すいころ軸受10は、建設機械のデフピニオン用とした場合について説明したが、その他の回転機械に用いられてもよい。

Claims (4)
- 軸方向一方側から他方側に向かって拡径する円すい状の内軌道面を外周側に有する内輪と、軸方向一方側から他方側に向かって拡径する円すい状の外軌道面を内周側に有する外輪と、前記内輪と前記外輪との間に形成されている環状空間に設けられ前記内軌道面及び前記外軌道面を転動する複数の円すいころと、複数の前記円すいころを保持している環状の保持器と、を備え、
前記保持器は、前記円すいころの軸方向一方側に位置している小環状部と、前記円すいころの軸方向他方側に位置している大環状部と、前記小環状部と前記大環状部とを連結している複数の柱部と、を有し、
前記柱部は、前記円すいころに対して径方向外側から接触することで当該円すいころの脱落を阻止する抜け止部を、軸方向他方側に有し、
前記抜け止部の径方向外側面と前記大環状部の外周面とは連続して形成されており、当該径方向外側面と当該外周面とを含む面が前記外輪の内周面に接触可能となって、当該接触により前記保持器の径方向の位置決めがされ、
前記大環状部の外周面と前記保持器のポケット側面とは鋭角で交差し、
前記内輪及び前記外輪それぞれと前記大環状部とは接近していて当該内輪及び当該外輪それぞれと当該大環状部との間に前記環状空間に存在している潤滑油の通りぬけを阻害する第一隙間及び第二隙間が形成されていて、前記ポケット側面と前記円すいころの大端面との間に第三隙間が形成されている、円すいころ軸受。 - 前記保持器は、熱可塑性の樹脂製であり、
前記大環状部の最小内径は、前記小環状部の最大外径よりも大きい、請求項1に記載の円すいころ軸受。 - 前記保持器は、前記外輪の内周面に接触可能であり当該接触により径方向の位置決めがされる、請求項1又は2に記載の円すいころ軸受。
- 前記保持器は、前記柱部の軸方向一方側であってその径方向外側に、前記外輪の内周面の一部に接触可能である第一ガイド面を有していて、
前記抜け止部の前記径方向外側面が、前記外輪の内周面に接触可能である第二ガイド面であり、
前記柱部において前記第一ガイド面と前記第二ガイド面との間は、前記外輪の内周面から離れている凹面となっている、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の円すいころ軸受。
