Abstract
【解決手段】二重シールを構成する内側シール5と外側シール6をいずれも回転側軌道輪である内輪1に嵌合して、2つのシール5、6が相対回転しないようにすることにより、内輪1が軸方向に移動したり傾いたりしても両シール5、6が接触するおそれがなく、両シール5、6の間の隙間を小さく設定できるようにして、軸受の軸方向のコンパクト化を可能とするとともに、内側シール5を接触シールとし、外側シール6を非接触シールとすることにより、内輪1回転に必要なトルクの増大も抑えられるようにしたのである。

Claims (5)
- 回転側軌道輪である内輪と固定側軌道輪である外輪との間の軸受空間を、内側と外側の2つのシールで密封した二重シール構造の密封型転がり軸受において、前記内側シールと外側シールをいずれも前記内輪に嵌合し、前記内側シールを、前記外輪の内周面に摺接するシールリップを有する接触シールとし、前記外側シールを、前記外輪の内周面との間にラビリンス隙間を形成する非接触シールとしたことを特徴とする密封型転がり軸受。
- 前記外側シールが、前記内輪に嵌合される嵌合部と、その嵌合部の一端部から径方向に延びる環状部と、その環状部の外周部から軸受外側へ向かって拡径していくテーパ部と、そのテーパ部の外周部から前記外輪の内周面に沿って軸受外側へ延びて前記ラビリンス隙間を形成する先端部とからなるものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の密封型転がり軸受。
- 前記外側シールを溶融亜鉛めっき鋼板で形成したことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の密封型転がり軸受。
- 前記外側シールを合成樹脂で形成したことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の密封型転がり軸受。
- 自動車の等速ジョイント軸の支持部に用いられることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の密封型転がり軸受。
