Claims (20)
- 椎間融合デバイスであって、
上部椎体と下部椎体との間に埋め込まれるように適合された上側及び下側表面、ならびに前記上側及び下側表面を接続させる横側表面を有するスペーサと、
アンカー先端及びアンカー先端から近位に配置された近位端、ならびに略V字形状の本体として本体を画定するための中央溝を有する前記本体を有する固定デバイスであって、前記近位端が、前記中央溝により分離された2つの拡大近位先端を含み、前記2つの拡大近位先端が、それぞれ横方向に延在する横側部を有し、前記横側部のそれぞれが、前記固定デバイスの前記本体の残余部分よりさらに横方向に延在し、前記2つの拡大近位先端が、前記横側部の内側にさらに半球状のインデントを画定し、前記固定デバイスが、前記アンカー先端が前記スペーサの内側に配設される第1の位置と、前記アンカー先端が前記スペーサから外側に延在される第2の位置との間で移動可能であり、前記固定デバイスが、前記スペーサの前記横側表面間に中央に位置付けられる、固定デバイスと、を備える、椎間融合デバイス。 - 前記固定デバイスが、上部アンカー及び下部アンカーを備える、請求項1に記載の椎間融合デバイス。
- 前記スペーサが、上部ガイド及び下部ガイドの各々が、前記上部アンカー及び前記下部アンカーの、それらのそれぞれの椎体内への展開をそれぞれ誘導するように適合されているような前記上部ガイド及び前記下部ガイドを備える、請求項2に記載の椎間融合デバイス。
- 前記上部及び下部アンカーが、前記上部及び下部アンカーの各々に力が加えられたときに、それらのそれぞれの上部及び下部ガイドに沿って互いに独立してスライドする個別の要素である、請求項3に記載の椎間融合デバイス。
- 前記上部アンカー及び前記下部アンカーの各々が、
前記アンカー先端から離れる近位方向に延在する第1の突出部と、
前記アンカー先端から離れる近位方向に延在する第2の突出部と、
前記第1の突出部と前記第2の突出部との間に延在する中央溝と、を備える、請求項2に記載の椎間融合デバイス。 - 前記中央溝が、前記アンカー先端に近位の幅狭端から前記近位端に近位の幅広端へと先細りしている、請求項5に記載の椎間融合デバイス。
- 前記第1及び第2の突出部の各々が、前記幅狭端に近位の第1の保持溝と、前記幅広端に近位の第2の保持溝とを備える、請求項6に記載の椎間融合デバイス。
- 前記第1及び第2の突出部の各々が、前記第1及び第2の突出部の各々の横側部に沿って延在する取り外し可能な工具の挿入インデントを備える、請求項7に記載の椎間融合デバイス。
- 前記第1及び第2の突出部の各々が、前記第1の保持溝と前記第2の保持溝との間に延在する曲線中央部分を有する、請求項8に記載の椎間融合デバイス。
- 椎間融合デバイスであって、
上側表面及び対向する下側表面、ならびに各々が前記上側表面と前記下側表面との間に延在する近位端及び遠位端を有するインプラント本体であって、前記インプラント本体が、前記近位端から前記上側表面へと延在する上側進路、及び前記近位端から前記下側表面へと延在する下側進路をさらに含む、インプラント本体と、
上部アンカー先端が前記インプラント本体の内側の第1の位置から前記上側表面から外側に延在する第2の位置に移動可能であるように、前記上側進路に沿ってスライドするように配設された上部アンカー先端を有し、前記上部アンカーは、第1の拡大近位先端及び第2の拡大近位先端を含み、第1の拡大近位先端は、横方向に延在する第1の横側部を有し、第2の拡大近位先端は、横方向に延在する第2の横側部を有し、前記第1の横側部及び第2の横側部は、前記上部アンカーの残余部分よりさらに横方向に延在し、前記第1の拡大近位先端は、前記第1の横側部の内側に第1の半球状のインデントを画定し、前記第2の拡大近位先端は、前記第2の横側部の内側に第2の半球状のインデントを画定する上部アンカーと、
下部アンカー先端が前記インプラント本体の内側の第1の位置から前記下側表面から外側に延在する第2の位置に移動可能であるように、前記下側進路に沿ってスライドするように配設された下部アンカー先端を有し、前記下部アンカーは、第3の拡大近位先端及び第4の拡大近位先端を含み、第3の拡大近位先端は、横方向に延在する第3の横側部を有し、第4の拡大近位先端は、横方向に延在する第4の横側部を有し、前記第3の横側部及び第4の横側部は、前記下部アンカーの残余部分よりさらに横方向に延在し、前記第3の拡大近位先端は、前記第3の横側部の内側に第3の半球状のインデントを画定し、前記第4の拡大近位先端は、前記第4の横側部の内側に第4の半球状のインデントを画定する下部アンカーと、を備える、椎間融合デバイス。 - 前記上部アンカー及び前記下部アンカーの各々が、アンカー先端と近位端との間に延在する弓形の本体を備える、請求項10に記載の椎間融合デバイス。
- 前記弓形の本体が、第1の突出部と、第2の突出部と、前記第1の突出部と前記第2の突出部との間に延在する中央溝と、を備える、請求項11に記載の椎間融合デバイス。
- 前記第1の突出部及び前記第2の突出部の各々が、前記アンカー先端に近位の第1の溝と、前記アンカー先端から遠位の第2の溝と、を備える、請求項12に記載の椎間融合デバイス。
- 前記インプラント本体が、前記近位端と前記遠位端との間に延在する一対の略平行な横側部と、前記上部アンカーが前記第1の位置にあるときに上部戻り止めが前記上部アンカーの前記第1の溝へと取り外し可能に挿入され、前記上部戻り止めが、前記上部アンカーが前記第2の位置にあるときに前記上部アンカーの前記第2の溝へと取り外し可能に挿入されるように、前記横側部の各々の前記近位端から中間に延在する前記上部戻り止め及び下部戻り止めと、を備える、請求項13に記載の椎間融合デバイス。
- 前記インプラント本体が、前記上部戻り止めを前記下部戻り止めから分離させるスペーサをさらに備える、請求項14に記載の椎間融合デバイス。
- 前記上部及び下部アンカーが、前記本体内に収容され、前記上部及び下部アンカーが、前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置へと前記スペーサから径方向に展開する、請求項1に記載の椎間融合デバイス。
- 椎間融合デバイスであって、
上側表面、対向する下側表面、及び前記上側表面と前記下側表面との間に延在している近位端、前記上側表面と前記近位端との間に延在している上側通路、ならびに前記下側表面と前記近位端との間に延在している下側通路を有するインプラント本体と、
第1の上部アンカー位置と第2の上部アンカー位置との間の前記上側通路内にスライドするように配設された上部アンカーであって、前記上部アンカーが、前記上部アンカーが前記第1の上部アンカー位置にあるときに前記インプラント本体内に配設された上部アンカー先端を有し、前記上部アンカー先端が、前記上部アンカーが前記第2の上部アンカー位置にあるときに前記上側表面から外側に延在する、上部アンカーと、
第1の下部アンカー位置と第2の下部アンカー位置との間の前記下側通路内にスライドするように配設された下部アンカーであって、前記下部アンカーが、前記下部アンカーが前記第1の下部アンカー位置にあるときに前記インプラント本体内に配設された下部アンカー先端を有し、前記下部アンカー先端が、前記下部アンカーが前記第2の下部アンカー位置にあるときに前記下側表面から外側に延在する、下部アンカーと、を備え、
前記上部アンカー及び前記下部アンカーのうちの1つは、2つの拡大近位先端であって、それぞれ横方向に延在する横側部を有する2つの拡大近位先端を含み、前記横側部のそれぞれが、前記上部アンカーの残余部分又は下部アンカーの残余部分よりさらに横方向に延在し、前記2つの拡大近位先端が、前記横側部の内側にさらに半球状のインデントを画定する、椎間融合デバイス。 - 前記上部アンカー及び前記下部アンカーの各々が、前記アンカー先端から離れるように延在する弓形の本体を備える、請求項17に記載の椎間融合デバイス。
- 前記上部アンカーの各々が、前記アンカー先端に近位の第1の溝及び前記アンカー先端から遠位の第2の溝を備え、前記インプラント本体が、前記上部アンカーが前記第1の上部アンカー位置にあるときに前記第1の溝と係合される戻り止めを備え、前記戻り止めが、前記上部アンカーが前記第2の上部アンカー位置にあるときに前記第2の溝と係合される、請求項17に記載の椎間融合デバイス。
- 前記弓形の本体が、各々が前記アンカー先端から近位に延在する第1の突出部及び第2の突出部と、前記第1の突出部と前記第2の突出部との間に延在する中央溝であって、前記アンカー先端からより幅狭からより幅広に先細りしている、中央溝と、を備える、請求項18に記載の椎間融合デバイス。
