[3]単官能エポキシ化合物が、分子中に少なくとも1つの芳香環を有することを特徴とする、上記[1]または[2]に記載の耐火性エポキシ樹脂組成物。
[4]上記無機充填剤が、リン化合物および金属化合物を含む、上記[1]〜[3]のいずれかに記載の耐火性エポキシ樹脂組成物。

ここで、

上記脂肪族低級アミンとしては、例えば、モノメチルアミン、ジメチルアミン、トリメチルアミン、エチルアミン、プロピルアミン、ブチルアミン等が挙げられる。
上記中和された熱膨張性黒鉛の市販品としては、例えば、UCAR CARBON社製の「GRAFGUARD#160」、「GRAFGUARD#220」、東ソー社製の「GREP−EG」等が挙げられる。
表1に示した配合により、耐火性エポキシ樹脂組成物を準備した。表1に示した各成分の詳細は次の通りである。各表の単位は質量部である。

(実施例1)
表1の配合に従い、p−tert−ブチルフェニルグリシジルエーテル 50質量部、硬化剤50質量部、熱膨張性黒鉛100質量部、ポリリン酸アンモニウム 50質量部、炭酸カルシウム 50質量部を、合計300gとなるようにはかりとり、混練ロールで混練して耐火性エポキシ樹脂組成物を得た。
(実施例2)
実施例1の場合と比較して、p−tert−ブチルフェニルグリシジルエーテルに代えてフェノール(EO)5グリシジルエーテルを65質量部を使用し、硬化剤の使用量を50質量部から35質量部に変更し、熱膨張性黒鉛の使用量を100質量部から25質量部に変更し、ポリリン酸アンモニウムの使用量を50質量部から100質量部に変更したこと以外は、実施例1の場合と全く同様に実験を行い、実施例2のエポキシ樹脂シートを作成した。
(実施例3)
実施例1の場合と比較して、p−tert−ブチルフェニルグリシジルエーテルに代えて2−エチルヘキシルグリシジルエーテルを45質量部を使用し、硬化剤の使用量を50質量部から55質量部に変更し、熱膨張性黒鉛の使用量を100質量部から200質量部に変更し、ポリリン酸アンモニウムの使用量を50質量部から200質量部に変更し、炭酸カルシウムの使用量を50質量部から150質量部に変更したこと以外は、実施例1の場合と全く同様に実験を行い、実施例3のエポキシ樹脂シートを作成した。
(実施例4)
実施例1の場合と比較して、p−tert−ブチルフェニルグリシジルエーテルに代えて2−エチルヘキシルグリシジルエーテルを35質量部を使用し、ビスフェノールF型エポキシ化合物硬化剤10質量部を追加し、硬化剤の使用量を50質量部から55質量部に変更し、熱膨張性黒鉛の使用量を100質量部から250質量部に変更し、炭酸カルシウムの使用量を50質量部から25質量部に変更したこと以外は、実施例1の場合と全く同様に実験を行い、実施例4のエポキシ樹脂シートを作成した。
比較例1
実施例1の場合と比較して、p−tert−ブチルフェニルグリシジルエーテルに代えて2ビスフェノールF型エポキシ化合物を45質量部を使用し、硬化剤の使用量を50質量部から55質量部に変更したこと以外は、実施例1の場合と全く同様に実験を行い、比較例1のエポキシ樹脂シートを作成した。
比較例2
実施例1の場合と比較して、熱膨張性黒鉛を使用しなかったこと以外は、実施例1の場合と全く同様に実験を行い、比較例2のエポキシ樹脂シートを作成した。
比較例3
実施例1の場合と比較して、ポリリン酸アンモニウムおよび炭酸カルシウムを使用しなかったこと以外は、実施例1の場合と全く同様に実験を行い、比較例2のエポキシ樹脂シートを作成した。
2.各エポキシ樹脂シートの評価
上記の実施例1〜4及び比較例1〜3のエポキシ樹脂シートの成形体を耐火性及び柔軟性について以下のように評価した。結果を表1に示す。
[耐火性評価]
上記エポキシ樹脂シートから98mm×98mm×1.5mmの試験片を切り出し、上記試験片を電気炉にて600℃で30分間加熱した。
[柔軟性評価]
上記エポキシ樹脂シートをオリエンテック社製、テンシロンを用いて、JIS K 7161に準拠して、試験速度:5mm/min、試験片:ダンベル形、チャック間距離:10mmにて引張り強さを測定した。引張り強さが50N以上の場合を×、50N未満の場合を○と評価した。
Claims (8)
- エポキシ樹脂、熱膨張性黒鉛および無機充填剤を含有し、前記エポキシ樹脂が、単官能エポキシ化合物を含み、エポキシ化合物全量に対する単官能エポキシ化合物の割合が40質量%以上であることを特徴とする、耐火性エポキシ樹脂組成物。
- 前記エポキシ樹脂が、単官能エポキシ化合物および多官能エポキシ樹脂の混合物を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の耐火性エポキシ樹脂組成物。
- 単官能エポキシ化合物が、分子中に少なくとも1つの芳香環を有することを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の耐火性エポキシ樹脂組成物。
- 前記無機充填剤が、リン化合物および金属化合物を含む、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の耐火性エポキシ樹脂組成物。
- 前記熱膨張性黒鉛が前記エポキシ樹脂100質量部を基準として20〜350質量部の範囲である、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の耐火性エポキシ樹脂組成物。
- 前記無機充填剤が前記エポキシ樹脂100質量部を基準として50〜400質量部の範囲である、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の耐火性エポキシ樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の耐火性エポキシ樹脂組成物を成型してなる、成型体。
- 建具に使用する請求項7に記載の成型体。
