Description
図1は、実施形態における表示装置付きミラー100を例示する図である。また、図2は、図1のA−A断面概略図である。なお、図1及び図2において、X方向は表示装置付きミラー100の幅方向、Y方向は表示装置付きミラー100の厚さ方向、Z方向は表示装置付きミラー100の高さ方向である。
透明面材10は、例えばソーダライムガラス、アルミノシリケートガラス、アルミノボロシリケートガラス、無アルカリガラス等の無機ガラス、もしくはポリカーボネート樹脂、アクリル樹脂等からなる透明樹脂である。また、透明面材10は、複数のガラス板が中間膜で貼り合わされた合わせガラス、またはガラス板と透明樹脂もしくは透明樹脂と透明樹脂とが中間膜で貼り合わされた積層体であってもよい。合わせガラス及び積層体に用いられる中間膜は公知の材料を使用できる。例えば、PVB(ポリビニルブチラール)やEVA(エチレンビニルアセテート)等が挙げられる。
透明面材10の一面には、金属薄膜20が設けられている。透明面材10の一面に金属薄膜20を設けることで、透明面材10を単独で用いた場合よりも可視光線(光の波長が400〜600nmの範囲。以下同じ。)が反射される。そして、透明面材10の背面に遮光部40を設けると、透明面材10に鏡面部2が形成される。
透明面材10の一面には、透光部1を有するように遮光部40が形成されている。遮光部40が形成されていない領域は、透明面材10の前面側から視認した際に透光部1となる。そして、遮光部40が形成された領域は、透明面材10の前面側から視認した際に鏡面部2となる。
透明面材10の透光部1に対応する位置の背面には、粘着層11を介して表示装置30の画像を表示する表示部が接合されている。表示装置30は、例えば液晶ディスプレイ装置、有機ELディスプレイ装置、プラズマディスプレイ装置等である。表示装置30は、例えば不図示の記憶装置に記憶されている画像や、ネットワークを介して接続するコンピュータやサーバ等から送信される画像を表示する。
本実施形態の表示装置付きミラー100では、表示装置30として、液晶ディスプレイ装置を使用している。液晶ディスプレイ装置においては、表示パネル31が粘着層11を介して透明面材10に接合している。そして、表示パネル31の背面側にバックライト32が配置される。
本実施形態の表示装置付きミラー100は、表示装置30の画像を表示する表示部と透明面材10の透光部1とが粘着層11を介して接合されている。この構成により、表示装置付きミラー100は、表示装置30のオフ時には、透光部1が鏡面となり透光部1と鏡面部2との境界が不鮮明となる。その結果、表示装置30のオフ時には、表示装置付きミラー100は一体のミラーとして機能する。さらに、表示装置30のオン時には、透明面材10の透光部1の背面において、表示画像の反射が低減される。その結果、表示装置30のオン時において、透明面材10の前面側に鮮明な表示画像を表示できる。さらに、透光部1を通過する表示画像の光の強度が低下しにくいので、表示装置30の光の強度を高くする必要がない。そのため、表示装置30の光の強度を高くすることによる発熱や電力消費を低減できる。
図3A及び図3Bは、透明面材10として前記無機ガラス又は透明樹脂の一枚を用いた例の断面図である。図4A〜図4Jは、透明面材10として合わせガラス又は積層体を用いた例の断面図である。本発明の表示装置付きミラーは、これらのような形態とすることができる。
図5に従来の表示装置を有するミラー200の断面概略図を示す。図5に示すように、従来の表示装置を有するミラー200は、一方の面に金属薄膜20を有し、他方の面に透光部1が設けられるように遮光部40が形成されている透明面材10を有し、透明面材10の他方の面には前記透光部1に対向して表示装置30が配置されている。
本実施形態における表示装置付きミラー100は、例えば店舗の間仕切りや柱等に設けられ、顧客が表示装置30に表示される商品の情報や売り場案内等を取得するのに用いることができる。さらに、衣料品店に設けられる場合には、顧客が色やデザインの異なる様々な商品を試着した姿を仮想的に表示装置30に表示し、顧客に様々な商品を試着した姿を確認させることができる。また、衣料品店の試着室に設けられる場合には、カメラにより試着している顧客の後ろ姿を撮影して表示装置30に表示し、顧客に商品を試着した後ろ姿を確認させることができる。なお、表示装置付きミラー100の用途は上記例に限られるものではない。

Claims (6)
- 透明面材と、表示装置とを備え、
前記透明面材は、そのどちらか一方の面に金属薄膜を有し、かつ、透光部を有するように遮光部が形成されており、
前記透光部に粘着層を介して前記表示装置の画像を表示する表示部が接合され、
前記金属薄膜は、波長が400〜600nmにおける平均反射率が20〜50%であり、かつ波長が800nm〜2000nmにおける赤外線の平均反射率が5%以上であり、
前記粘着層の、25℃で1Hzにおける貯蔵せん断弾性率G'が10 3 〜10 7 Paであり、かつ厚さが0.03mm〜2mmである
ことを特徴とする表示装置付きミラー。 - 前記遮光部は、前記金属薄膜と前記表示装置との間に形成されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置付きミラー。 - 前記透明面材は、一方の面に前記金属薄膜が形成され、他方の面に前記遮光部が形成されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の表示装置付きミラー。 - 前記金属薄膜は、波長が400〜600nmにおける平均透過率が50%以上である
ことを特徴とする請求項1から3の何れか一項に記載の表示装置付きミラー。 - 前記遮光部は、波長が400〜600nmにおける平均透過率が1%以下である
ことを特徴とする請求項1から4の何れか一項に記載の表示装置付きミラー。 - 前記表示装置が、液晶ディスプレイ装置である
ことを特徴とする請求項1から5の何れか一項に記載の表示装置付きミラー。
