Description
本発明は、排ガス処理装置のガスシール性を向上させることを目的とする。
まず、本発明の実施の形態1に係る排ガス処理装置の構成について、図1〜14を参照しながら説明する。排ガス処理装置1は、図1に示すように、容器本体10と、保持部20と、下流側グリッド30と、触媒ユニット40と、第1シールプレート51と、第2シールプレート52と、複数の第1柱体61と、複数の第2柱体62と、上流側グリッド70と、グリッド押え80とを備える。
次に、本発明の実施の形態2に係る排ガス処理装置について、実施の形態1に係る排ガス処理装置1と異なる点のみを説明する。実施の形態1に係る排ガス処理装置1では、図1及び4に示すように、筒状ケース41同士の間にアタッチメント43が設けられている。これに対して、実施の形態2に係る排ガス処理装置2では、図16及び17に示すように、筒状ケース41同士の間にアタッチメント43が設けられる他に、下流側グリッド30と筒状ケース41との間、及び上流側グリッド70と筒状ケース41との間にもアタッチメント43が設けられている。すなわち、アタッチメント43が3段構成になっている。
次に本発明の実施の形態3に係る排ガス処理装置3について図20〜24を参照しながら説明する。実施の形態1及び2に係る排ガス処理装置1、2は、いわゆる縦置きの排ガス処理装置であるが、実施の形態3に係る排ガス処理装置3は、ガス流路Rが水平方向である、いわゆる横置きの排ガス処理装置である。基本的な構成については、縦置きの排ガス処理装置1を寝かせたものと同様であるが、以下の点で異なる。

Claims (4)
- 排ガスを処理するための触媒ユニットを、前記排ガスが流れるガス流路を形成する容器本体の内部で保持する排ガス処理装置であって、
前記触媒ユニットよりも前記ガス流路の下流側に設けられる下流側グリッドと、
前記触媒ユニットを挟んで下流側グリッドの反対側に設けられる上流側グリッドと、
前記上流側グリッド及び下流側グリッドとの間で前記触媒ユニットを押える押え部材と、
前記下流側グリッドと前記触媒ユニットとの間に介在する弾性シール部材と、を備え、
前記弾性シール部材は、前記押え部材が前記触媒ユニットを押えることによって弾性変形し、前記下流側グリッドと前記触媒ユニットとの隙間をシールするように構成されており、
前記触媒ユニットは、
内部に触媒が充填された複数の筒状ケースと、
前記筒状ケースの端部を保持するアタッチメントと、で構成され、
前記筒状ケースは、前記アタッチメントを介して少なくとも2段に構成されており、
前記排ガスが流れる方向と垂直な方向に前記アタッチメントを押える他の押え部材をさらに備え、
前記アタッチメントの本体部の筒の厚さは、前記筒状ケースの筒の厚さよりも大きく形成されている
ことを特徴とする排ガス処理装置。 - 排ガスを処理するための触媒ユニットを、前記排ガスが流れるガス流路を形成する容器本体の内部で保持する排ガス処理装置であって、
前記触媒ユニットよりも前記ガス流路の下流側に設けられる下流側グリッドと、
前記触媒ユニットを挟んで下流側グリッドの反対側に設けられる上流側グリッドと、
前記上流側グリッド及び下流側グリッドとの間で前記触媒ユニットを押える押え部材と、
前記下流側グリッドと前記触媒ユニットとの間に介在する弾性シール部材と、を備え、
前記弾性シール部材は、前記押え部材が前記触媒ユニットを押えることによって弾性変形し、前記下流側グリッドと前記触媒ユニットとの隙間をシールするように構成されており、
前記触媒ユニットは、
内部に触媒が充填された複数の筒状ケースと、
前記筒状ケースの端部を保持するアタッチメントと、で構成され、
前記筒状ケースは、前記アタッチメントを介して少なくとも2段に構成されており、
前記排ガスが流れる方向と垂直な方向に前記アタッチメントを押える他の押え部材をさらに備え、
前記容器本体の内側に固定されたシールプレートと、
前記シールプレートと前記触媒ユニットとの両方に接触して、これらシールプレートと触媒ユニットとの隙間をシールするシール部材と、をさらに備え、
前記他の押え部材は、前記シール部材を介して前記アタッチメントを押えるように構成されている
ことを特徴とする排ガス処理装置。 - 前記上流側グリッドと前記触媒ユニットとの間に介在する弾性部材をさらに備え、
前記弾性部材は、前記押え部材が前記触媒ユニットを押えることによって弾性変形するように構成されている
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の排ガス処理装置。 - 前記アタッチメントは、前記筒状ケースと前記下流側グリッドとの間にも介在する
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の排ガス処理装置。
