Description
正極、負極、及び前記正極と負極との間に介在する分離膜を含む積層構造の電極組立体が電池ケースの収納部に装着されており、
前記電極組立体には、電池ケースから正極又は負極に至る1つ以上のホールが形成されており、
前記ホールに対応する電池ケースの部位には透明部材のウィンドウが形成されている構造で構成されている。
図1の構成のように、正極及び分離膜に互いに連通する一つのホールがそれぞれ形成されている電極組立体を組み立て、これをパウチ型電池ケースに内蔵した後、1M LiPF6リチウム塩が含まれたEC/EMC系電解液を注液し、電極に含浸させた後、シールして電池セルを製造した。このとき、電極組立体のホールに対応するパウチ型電池ケースの部位には開口が穿孔されており、前記開口には、シクロオレフィン系フィルムが付着されたウィンドウが形成されている。
実施例1で製造された電池セルを対象として、4.2V〜2.5Vで充放電を行い、充放電サイクルによる容量維持率を測定し、その結果を図6に示す。

Claims (13)
- 正極、負極、及び前記正極と負極との間に介在する分離膜を含む積層構造の電極組立体が電池ケースの収納部に装着されており、
前記電極組立体には、電池ケースから負極に至る1つ以上のホールが形成されており、
前記ホールに対応する電池ケースの部位には、ラマン分光法により負極を観察するための透明部材のウィンドウが形成されており、
前記分離膜に形成されているホールの面積が、電極に形成されているホールの面積に比べて小さく、
前記負極の活物質が炭素材料であり、
前記電極組立体は、ウィンドウが位置する電池ケースの一側から、1番目の電極が正極であり、2番目の電極が負極であり、3番目の電極が正極であり、4番目の電極が負極であり、前記4番目の電極の観察のために、1番目の電極から3番目の電極まで連通するホールが穿孔されており、
前記透明部材がシクロオレフィン系フィルムからなることを特徴とする、電池セル。 - 前記電池ケースが、樹脂層と金属層を含むラミネートシートのパウチ型ケースであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。

- 前記電極組立体及び電池ケースには2つ以上のホール及びウィンドウが形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記2つ以上のホール及びウィンドウが、それぞれ互いに異なる部位に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の電池セル。
- 前記2つ以上のホールが、電池ケースの一側、または対向側、または一側及び対向側から観察できるように形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の電池セル。
- 前記ホールの面積が、平面視で電池セルの一面の全面積に対して1〜15%の大きさであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記分離膜に形成されているホールの面積が、電極に形成されているホールの面積に対して60〜90%の大きさであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電池ケースには、電極組立体のホールに対応する部位に開口が穿孔されており、前記開口に透明部材が付着されてウィンドウを形成していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記透明部材が、接着剤又は接着テープにより付着されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記接着剤が、エポキシ接着剤、セラミック接着剤、及びアクリル接着剤からなる群から選択されるいずれか1つ以上であることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の電池セル。
- 前記接着テープが、ポリイミドテープ、ポリエステルテープ、及びポリエチレンテープからなる群から選択されるいずれか1つ以上であることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電池セルがリチウム二次電池であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
