Description
1つの実施形態に係る中空ばね部材の製造方法は、両端が開口した鋼製の中空ロッドの一方の開口から気化性粉末防錆剤を吹き込み、前記中空ロッドの一方の端部を加熱することにより前記一方の端部に付着した前記気化性粉末防錆剤を除去し、前記加熱された一方の端部を塑性加工することにより第1の端末封止部を形成し、前記中空ロッドの他方の端部を加熱することにより前記他方の端部に付着した前記気化性粉末防錆剤を除去し、前記加熱された他方の端部を塑性加工することにより第2の端末封止部を形成するとともに前記中空ロッドの内部に密閉空間を形成し、前記中空ロッドを曲げ成形し、前記密閉空間内で前記気化性粉末防錆剤の成分を気化させ、気化した前記気化性粉末防錆剤の成分を前記密閉空間の内面に吸着させることにより該密閉空間の内面に内面防錆被膜を形成し、かつ、前記気化した成分を前記第1の端末封止部の端末ギャップと第2の端末封止部の端末ギャップにも入り込ませて端末防錆被膜を形成する。
図1は、中空スタビライザ10(これ以降は単にスタビライザ10と称す)を備えた車両11の一部を示している。スタビライザ10は懸架機構部の一部をなし、車体12の下部に配置されている。
Claims (1)
- 両端が開口した鋼製の中空ロッド(20)の一方の開口(20b)から気化性粉末防錆剤(70)を吹き込み、
前記中空ロッド(20)の一方の端部を加熱することにより前記一方の端部に付着した前記気化性粉末防錆剤(70)を除去し、
前記加熱された一方の端部を塑性加工することにより第1の端末封止部(30)を形成し、
前記中空ロッド(20)の他方の端部を加熱することにより前記他方の端部に付着した前記気化性粉末防錆剤(70)を除去し、
前記加熱された他方の端部を塑性加工することにより第2の端末封止部(31)を形成するとともに前記中空ロッド(20)の内部に密閉空間(32)を形成し、
前記中空ロッド(20)を曲げ成形し、
前記密閉空間(32)内で前記気化性粉末防錆剤(70)の成分を気化させ、
気化した前記気化性粉末防錆剤(70)の成分を前記密閉空間(32)の内面に吸着させることにより該密閉空間(32)の内面に内面防錆被膜(71)を形成し、かつ、前記気化した成分を前記第1の端末封止部(30)の端末ギャップ(32a)と第2の端末封止部(31)の端末ギャップ(33a)にも入り込ませて端末防錆被膜(72)を形成すること、
を特徴とする中空ばね部材の製造方法。
