図1は、中空スタビライザ10(これ以降は単にスタビライザ10と称す)を備えた車両11の一部を示している。スタビライザ10は懸架機構部の一部をなし、車体12の下部に配置されている。
Claims (6)
- 棒状の鋼製の材料からなり両端にそれぞれ端末封止部(30,31)(92,93)を有し、これら端末封止部(30,31)(92,93)間に密閉空間(32)(94)を有し、かつ、前記密閉空間(32)(94)の端に前記端末封止部(30,31)(92,93)の内面接合部(60)に向かって隙間が狭くなる端末ギャップ(32a,33a)(95,96)を有した中空ロッド(20)(91)と、
前記密閉空間(32)(94)に封入された気化性粉末防錆剤(70)と、
前記密閉空間(32)(94)内で気化した前記気化性粉末防錆剤(70)の成分が該密閉空間(32)(94)の内面に吸着した状態において該内面に存する内面防錆被膜(71)と、
前記気化した成分が前記端末ギャップ(32a,33a)(95,96)の内面に吸着した状態において該端末ギャップ(32a,33a)(95,96)に存する端末防錆被膜(72)と、
を具備したことを特徴とする中空ばね部材。 - 請求項1に記載の中空ばね部材において、
前記気化性粉末防錆剤(70)は、前記密閉空間(32)(94)内で気化した成分が該密閉空間(32)(94)内で飽和するに足る量が封入されている中空ばね部材。 - 請求項1に記載の中空ばね部材において、
前記中空ばね部材が、車両の幅方向に延びるトーション部(25)と、該トーション部(25)の両端に形成された湾曲部(26,27)と、該湾曲部(26,27)に連なるアーム部(28,29)と、該アーム部(28,29)の先端に形成された前記端末封止部(30,31)とを有した中空スタビライザ(10)である中空ばね部材。 - 請求項3に記載の中空ばね部材において、
前記中空ロッド(20)の内面に微小な凹凸からなる粗面(75)を有した中空ばね部材。 - 請求項1に記載の中空ばね部材において、
前記中空ばね部材が、螺旋形の中空ロッド(91)からなる中空コイルばね(90)である中空ばね部材。 - 両端が開口した鋼製の中空ロッド(20)の一方の開口(20b)から気化性粉末防錆剤(70)を吹き込み、
前記中空ロッド(20)の一方の端部を加熱し、
前記加熱された一方の端部を塑性加工することにより第1の端末封止部(30)を形成し、
前記中空ロッド(20)の他方の端部を加熱し、
前記加熱された他方の端部を塑性加工することにより第2の端末封止部(31)を形成するとともに前記中空ロッド(20)の内部に密閉空間(32)を形成し、
前記中空ロッド(20)を曲げ成形し、
前記密閉空間(32)内で前記気化性粉末防錆剤(70)の成分を気化させ、
気化した前記気化性粉末防錆剤(70)の成分を前記密閉空間(32)の内面に吸着させることにより該密閉空間(32)の内面に内面防錆被膜(71)を形成し、かつ、前記気化した成分を前記第1の端末封止部(30)の端末ギャップ(32a)と第2の端末封止部(31)の端末ギャップ(33a)にも入り込ませて端末防錆被膜(72)を形成すること、
を特徴とする中空ばね部材の製造方法。
