Claims (3)
- プランジャ・タイプの制御ハンドルと、その制御ハンドルに動作可能に結合されたカテーテル本体と、を備えるカテーテルであって、
前記制御ハンドルは、細長ハウジング内に配設されているプランジャと、前記細長ハウジングと動作可能に結合された第1の歯車ラックと前記プランジャに回転可能に取り付けられた歯車を備えており、
前記プランジャは、作動軸に沿って前記細長ハウジング内で並進移動可能であり、
前記第1の歯車ラックは、前記歯車と係合可能であり、
前記歯車は、スプール部分に動作可能に結合され、
前記スプール部分は、プル・ワイヤの収容およびリリースのために前記プル・ワイヤに動作可能に結合され、
前記プル・ワイヤは、前記カテーテルの遠位端部の側方撓みのために前記カテーテルの遠位端部に動作可能に結合され、
前記作動軸に沿った第1の並進移動方向への前記プランジャの並進移動により、前記第1の歯車ラックは、第1の回転方向に前記歯車および前記スプール部分を回転させ、前記スプール部分上に前記プル・ワイヤを収容し、
前記作動軸に沿った第2の方向への前記プランジャの並進移動により、前記第1の歯車ラックが第2の回転方向に前記歯車および前記スプール部分を回転させ、前記スプール部分から前記プル・ワイヤをリリースし、
前記第1の並進移動方向に前記作動軸に沿って前記プランジャを並進移動させることにより、前記カテーテルの前記遠位端部が曲線を画定するように第1の側方方向に前記カテーテルの前記遠位端部が撓む、カテーテル。 - 前記細長ハウジングに動作可能に結合されるとともに前記歯車と係合可能である第2の歯車ラックと、前記第1の歯車ラックが前記歯車に係合される第1の構成で構成可能であり、前記第2の歯車ラックが前記歯車に係合される第2の構成で構成可能である前記プランジャ・タイプの制御ハンドルに含まれる切替え機構と、をさらに備えており、
前記切替え機構が前記第2の構成にある場合に、前記作動軸に沿った前記第1の並進移動方向への前記プランジャの並進移動により、前記第2の歯車ラックが前記第2の回転方向に前記歯車および前記スプール部分を回転させ、前記スプール部分から前記プル・ワイヤをリリースさせ、
前記作動軸に沿った前記第2の方向への前記プランジャの並進移動により、前記第2の歯車ラックが前記第1の回転方向に前記歯車および前記スプール部分を回転させ、前記スプール部分上に前記プル・ワイヤを収容させ、
前記第2の構成へと前記切替え機構を切り替え、
前記第1の並進移動方向に前記作動軸に沿って前記プランジャを並進移動させることにより、前記カテーテルの前記遠位端部が曲線を画定するように前記第1の側方方向とは逆の第2の側方方向に前記カテーテルの前記遠位端部が撓む、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。 - 前記第1の歯車ラックの一部分が、前記第2の歯車ラックの一部分と対角線方向に対向側に位置する、請求項2に記載のカテーテル。
