Description
このようなバッテリーモジュールを採用する機器が増えつつ、バッテリーモジュールの生産性向上についての研究が進められており、機器の外観が多様化しつつ、これに対応してバッテリーモジュールの形態も多様になることが求められている。但し、バッテリーモジュールは、基本的に安全性が前提されるべきであり、これをすべて満たすことができるバッテリーモジュールの構造に関する研究が多方面へ進められている。

Claims (18)
- それぞれ端子部を備える複数のバッテリーセルと、
前記端子部上に配置される反射部と、
前記端子部に溶接され、前記複数のバッテリーセルの間を電気的に連結するが、
前記反射部の少なくとも一部を露出させる開口部が形成されたバスバーと、
を含み、前記反射部が反射したレーザーの少なくとも一部は、前記バスバーと前記端子部との間に案内されることを特徴とするバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記反射部は、前記開口部を介して流入されるレーザーを反射させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記反射部の少なくとも一部は、前記レーザーによって前記バスバーと前記端子部との間で溶融されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記バスバーの前記開口部は、第1開口部、及び前記第1開口部と連通され、前記第1開口部に比べて直径が大きくて、前記端子部に隣接して位置される第2開口部を含み、段差の形状を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記反射部は、前記第2開口部内に位置することを特徴とする請求項4に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記反射部は、前記第2開口部に隣接する前記バスバーの一部に接触することを特徴とする請求項4に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記反射部は、少なくとも一つの傾斜面を含めて前記開口部を介して流入するレーザーを前記傾斜面に反射させて前記バスバーと前記端子部との間に案内する第1反射部と、
前記第1反射部と前記端子部との間に位置し、前記第2開口部に隣接する前記バスバーの一部に接触する第2反射部と、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記第2反射部の露出した表面には凹凸が形成されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記バスバーの開口部は、前記端子部から離れるほどサイズが小さくなる形状を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記反射部は、少なくとも一つの傾斜面を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記開口部を介して流入されるレーザーは、前記傾斜面に反射され、前記バスバーと前記端子部との間を結合させることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記バスバーの内壁には凹凸が形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 露出した前記端子部の表面には凹凸が形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記反射部の少なくとも一部は、三角形、台形、または曲面形状を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記反射部は、前記反射部に加わるレーザーの少なくとも80%を反射させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記反射部は、銀、アルミニウム、銅、及びガラス層と前記ガラス層にコーティングされた金属層を含むミラーの中から選択される少なくとも一つを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- それぞれ上面に反射部が配置された複数のバッテリーセルの端子部の間を電気的に連結し、
前記反射部の少なくとも一部を露出させる開口部が形成されたバスバーを位置させる段階と、
前記バスバーと前記端子部との間を溶接する段階と、
を含み、照射されたレーザーは、前記反射部で反射され、少なくとも一部が前記バスバーと前記端子部とが出会う地点へ案内されることを特徴とするバッテリーモジュールの製造方法。 - 前記溶接の段階で、前記バスバーに形成された開口部を介してレーザーを照射することを特徴とする請求項17に記載のバッテリーモジュールの製造方法。
